A MassDOT driver stopped to check on me and gave me Thomas' number from ADR Towing, saying he'd take good care of me. Thomas showed up quickly, was friendly, and genuinely concerned about my situation. He even looked under the hood and found the issue right away. Unfortunately, it couldn't be fixed on the spot, so he towed me to Eastside Classics (reviewed them as well), where he keeps his equipment. They got right to work on my car and had me back on the road within an hour. What really stood out was that Thomas went above and beyond--he could have just towed me, taken payment, and left it at that. Instead, he made sure I got real help, which saved me from scrambling for a rental the next morning. If you ever need a tow, I can't recommend Thomas and ADR Towing enough.

However, MA law states there is a $132 fee cap plus $35 per 24 hours of storage. That comes to $167. If the driver was honest about this cost difference, my son would have chosen to go to their facility. Additionally, the driver quickly dropped the price when I showed up which shows he was clearly trying to take advantage of an 18-year old. I had reached out to this company to request the $33 difference and they ignored my email.

Pulling teeth to get any info on status of the repair. Does not seem to understand basic customer service, the importance of transparent communication, repairing a car correctly is job 1, or how holding your car hostage can cause serious frustration. Upon receiving the car back the left front wheel bearing needed to be replaced, and the left front control arm was bent. This required a further 11 days of time spent getting the car finished at the dealer, not at Jake's. Seriously, the accident damaged the left front tire and no one checked out the bearing or control arm? John spent a lot of his time explaining what an excellent job they do and no other shop takes care of the details as well as they do, and that other shops would return your car with things still not right. If you take your car here for repair be warned you will need to constantly stay on top of them or you will never hear from them, and don't expect the repair to be complete.
