Very pricy, but they got tons of spots that were a few weeks old out of my silk BCBG dress so I was happy. If you want an economical dry cleaner in town this is not the place to go; however Redding doesn't have a ton of options so this spot is the best I've found so far. read more

$16 per shirt for dry cleaning?! $84 for 5 shirts. I told the owner it was my first time there when I dropped them off. He did not disclose the price. Then when I picked the shirts up and told him the charge was ridiculous, he pointed to a small sign on the wall and said "this is what you agreed to." I told him I came from the city and it's not even this expensive and his answer was "well you're not in the city anymore are you?". read more

We went in on Thursday afternoon and asked the nice woman (Cara?) if it was possible to get our 5 items cleaned and ready for pickup in less than 24 hours. She told us that she could have them ready by 4 PM Friday and she would really try to make it earlier. I accepted those terms because I knew it was a big ask but I was pretty nervous because we had to wear those dressy duds to a fancy affair at 5:30. So imagine my pleasant surprise when I got a text at 12:30 alerting me that my order was ready! I hurried over to scoop up our clothes and returned to the hotel to start getting ready...ahead of schedule! A&A is awesome! read more

They are friendly, fast and do GREAT WORK :-) Plus they have a Sunday 20% discount which is nice.

Place has a nice drive up entrance for a quick in and out. Had one pair of pants laundered (not dry cleaned). My ticket they gave me did not have the price on it, and prices are not posted inside. I told them I was IN NO HURRY OR RUSH to have them returned and to me. Next day I got an email that they were ready! I picked them up and the charge was $10.79!!! I asked if they were dry cleaned if it would be more and told that would have been $1 more! If you use this dry cleaner, be ready to pay for it!!! read more

A & A Prestige Cleaners - $10.79 for one pair of pants that I paid $15 for at Costco new!!! - Laundry Services Near Me - Redding, California

I dropped off two dresses several days ago. Went to go and pick them up and was told that my total was going to be 128.79. I asked her why it cost so much to dry clean to dresses. She says because they are gowns and they have beads on them. I explained I have had other dresses with beads on them cleaned and never been charged so much for dry cleaning before. She simply explained that she has nothing to do with the pricing and that's how much it costs. On a side note, I had to sign a waiver when I dropped off my dresses because they had beads. When I dropped the dresses off was not alerted to the fact that they charge over $60 per dress. And I had no reason to ask because I have used this dry cleaner before and have never had an issue like this. Also mention the fact that there is a sign out front offering 20% off dry cleaning today. She said that is if I brought it in today. Will never be going back there again. read more

Don't offer a service if you can't fulfill it. I dropped off 5 pairs of jeans get done heavy/cowboy starched. After asking the price per Jean, I was told I could have them done in a medium starch and so I was ok with this. When I returned to pick them up, the same lady told me they didn't really have a medium starch and opted going light starch without calling me. With a $1.75 difference between light and heavy, I would have chosen heavy since I was already paying $13 per pair. read more

Staff has been so pleasant been coming here for years until today. Owner who's been very short and rude with me once in 4 years that I've been using their services. There was a simple problem that he could have resolved but chose to tell me I requested a service when I clearly didn't. He changed my laundry order to a dry clean order which is $17 per shirt instead of $6 He said I requested it when I didn't. He then said he doesn't launder certain shirts when he's the only one that's washed these shirts in 4 years. Liar liar... tried to blame the sky as well...too bad 80 shirts a year and this is his customer service. I'm taking my shirts elsewhere read more

I have been coming to Prestige for years now and am very grateful for their exceptional service and excellence! Excellent dry cleaning seven days a week with Sunday service at 20% off! Thank you so much! read more

After a fire caused smoke damage to several old military uniforms and other items we valued, we were struggling to find a cleaner willing to work with antique fabrics. A A Prestige was recommended to us, and we are more than pleased with the quality and speed with which our items were cleaned and left smelling fresh, not smoky. Friendly and helpful staff, a super clean shop, and efficient service are all reasons why we highly recommend A A Prestige as the best dry cleaner around. read more

The prices at this cleaners are simply outrageous! Don't leave anything without getting a price first. I just picked up a dress and sweater and they charged me $41.95 for cleaning! I told them there must be some mistake - they said no - that is standard pricing. Wont be going back to this one! read more

I've had these guys do my dry cleaning, hem pants, and sew! They do so much and they're great at it. They're always efficient and get things done in a timely manner. I took a suit and shirt to A&A for the first time last week. I was impressed with the Barcode tracking system they use. They had the clothing done in a couple of days, and it was done nicely. My only beef was the price, it was over 40 bucks for a suit, shirt, and pair of slacks. I guess that Bay Area prices on Dry Cleaning are much cheaper. read more

I took a comforter down to have cleaned. When asked how I want it done, I told them to clean per what's on the tag. The lady looked at the tag and said ok. I signed their "release" and was on my way. I was called today and was told that it shrunk and they are not responsible because I signed the release form. I asked for the owner Greg to call me which he did a couple hours later. Apparently, the cleaning tag that was on the blanket was now gone, which means that I don't have a leg to stand on. Greg told me he wouldn't charge me for the cleaning, but would not reimburse me any part of the cost (it was about a $350 comforter). They lied and covered their tracks so they would not have to pay me. I will never do business there again, and would suggest that you don't either!!! read more

My first experience was with my daughter's wedding skirt. We were desperate for it to get pressed just a few days before the wedding. I had been calling around town and no one could help me. They were so sympathetic and told me to bring it in- it was right before closing! I picked it up the next day (day before the wedding) and it was perfect. Stunning. I've since learned that they are a "green" dry cleaner and so I take all my dry cleaning here. Very friendly staff. Always keep their customers first. read more

Very friendly staff... more than what I was used to before we moved here from another state, but dry cleaning is just expensive up here.

The customer service deserves many more stars as the woman was awesome and they had my item done in no time but the cost is more expensive then any where I have ever been. I lived in Orange County for years and paid about $8-$10 dollars for a light short summer dress and they would have it for me next day no extra charge. I also have been to dry cleaners in Seattle (the most high end expensive area in PNW) where I thought that was a lot at like $12-$14 but this was insane at $22??? We are in Redding not Malibu people! read more

We've been enjoying service from A&A since 2003 and have never been disappointed. Love the smiles when we enter. Love the great job they do even when we say, "There's a spot". Great people, great service, on time and clean as a whistle. Love these folks. Bill F.- Redding read more

I stopped in last minute hoping they could press my husband's suit. I needed it finished 36 hours later. The woman at the front desk had excellent customer service and assured me that they would have it ready on time. They not only pressed it, but they dry cleaned it and had it ready only 24 hours later. I highly recommend this business. read more

Destroyed my drapes and refused to make right. Wouldn't even refund the cleaning fee. I PAID $60.00 to have my drapes destroyed. Owner says he owns 5 stores so we don't have much choice where to go. I have been coming here for years and do not mind paying the high price for service. However the one time I had a rush item I needed the owner Greg said he couldn't do it for me. I went to Hartnell Cleaners and they did it for half the price!!! I will be switching ti them. I hope it was worth losing $2,400 a year in business Greg !!! read more

My interaction with this business was atrocious, most egregiously from the business owner, Greg, himself. I brought in a dress that I had worn to a wedding for cleaning. The dress had a couple of spots on it, and I showed these spots to the woman working at the front counter, who marked the spots for cleaning. After her assessment, the woman stated that although she could not quote an exact price for the dress cleaning, the total would be around $20, and I agreed. I returned to pick up the dress, and at check out, was informed that the cost of cleaning the dress was $46--more than twice what I had been quoted. I explained that when I had dropped off the dress, I was told that the cleaning price would be "around $20", and that I had agreed to have the dress cleaned under that assumption. The clerk stated that the dress was a "gown" (it's a simple long dress) and as such, the price was $46. I explained that the original clerk had seen the dress in its entirety when quoting me originally, as evidenced by the stickers she had placed on the dress to indicate the spots for cleaning. I asked how the quote could have been so off--the dress had not changed from the time I originally dropped it off to the time I came to pick it up. If the dress was considered a gown, wasn't that evident at the time I dropped it off? I explained my frustration, paid for the dress, and was told that the owner, Greg, would call me to discuss. Later, Greg called, and I have never heard a person speak to a customer the way that Greg spoke to me. Greg said, among other disgusting things, "I don't believe you" and "I don't want customers that are people like you". He said that there was no possible way that his clerk would have quoted an approximate fee, when in fact that is EXACTLY what she did. He said that I was I complete liar. He was downright belligerent, disrespectful, and hostile. Lastly, to top it all off, the dress still had spots on it! For $46, one might expect a clean dress, but nope. Greg said more or less, tough luck and don't come back. (Spoiler alert: I won't.) Needless to say, I paid the full $46. But, I will never return and will be sure to inform my friends of this awful business and its horrible owner, Greg. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT GO HERE. I brought in a couple jackets and a sleeping bag, and $88 later, my clothes smelt burnt. Come on, $88? No one has that kind of money, especially a college student. I might as well have thrown my clothes away and bought new ones for that kind of money. Ridiculous. I suggest you wash your clothes yourself or find somewhere that is more reasonably priced. read more

I had items that needed dry cleaning due to smoke damage from the recent Carr Fire. Greg and his staff provided outstanding, caring customer service and cleaned my items in record time. I'm so angry. This dry cleaner destroyed my favorite jacket. It came back to me shrunken - except the arms which now hang down to my knuckles. Someone did a miserable job - I think it went in a washing machine. In any case, the owner totally stonewalled - blamed me, made lame excuses - like "your jacket outlived it's useful life (!)", and refused to reimburse me. Dishonest and unethical. From other reviews I'm reading, my experience was pretty typical. read more

I took a down comforter in to have it dry cleaned after a substantial amount of infant spit up had accumulated on it. The woman asked me what was on it (pet mess? just generally dirty?) and once hearing that my infant would be sleeping in and on it, she recommended NOT dry cleaning it (as the tag said), but to straight LAUNDER it. She said dry cleaning could leave chemical residue and/or odors that I may not want to expose my baby to (and I'm pretty sensitive to chemical smells myself - even as mild as found in common detergents). I agreed -- what do I know?!? Anyway, she was right and the comforter came out beautiful and clean and super fluffy -- like it was new again. I REALLY APPRECIATE the extra time she took to inquire about it and her recommendation. We'll be repeat customers now because awesome customer service like that keeps me coming back. Thank you! read more
