Okay, so I usually go to this place no problem but not this time. Don't use the two load washers machines against the wall to the right. I put my laundry in them only because I had three loads along with a Tide Pod. Upon, folding my shirts I noticed two of my darker shirts had bleach markers on them. After, showing my shirts to owner of the laundry unit she simply stated, "NOT MY PROBLEM". Okay, so if it's not her problem then she's saying it's mine problem? I never even brought or used bleach when washing my laundry (You can't see bleach in the machines and I even smelled the machine before using it). If I could leave zero stars I would,we are a family of 8 our dryer broke we drove 45 minutes to this laundromat because it was next to the grocery store we go to. We brought all our wet clothes in to dry them only to be told we couldn't dry our clothes there because we didn't wash them there. I have never been treated so badly at a laundromat before. I used this laundromat several times over the summer of 2020 only by necessity. While the place is fairly tame people wise, the floors are disgustingly filthy and I literally cringed every time something accidentally hit the floor. The owner takes her garbage and puts it outside in the garbage cans in front of her establishment which are usually overflowing. The owner seems nice enough, but I just can't understand why no effort is made to clean the floors! The place also seems to attract a transient population. The employees here are super racist. I last tried to go the laundromat to try to dry my nephews soccer clothes. It was raining and he had two games that day. I was with his guardian and aunt who are both women of color. The staff refused to let us use the bathroom. No bathroom to use. I need to change out of my work clothes and wash them. She wouldn't let me use the room not even to change I didn't need the bathroom to actually use the toilet. The rugs are terribly filthy, I came in here last May and it doesn't look like she's done anything to them ever since, she should take the carpeting out. Just keep hardwood floor and mop it! worst wash and fold of all time. Been having wash and folds done all over USA. this is the worst of all time. I don't think the Ukrainian lady uses any soap whatsoever. My cloths came back with so many spots, it looks like she didn't even wash them. I check all the prices, shes the lowest at 1.25 lb but just not worth ever going to. And a lady stepped up who said she was the owner and said that Arianna could not help me. I thought it was a joke at first but it was not. She got super pushy and asked that we had to leave! This is the worst customer experience I have ever had! The owner was very rude, hostile and aggressive. The owner did not want us to use the dryer for longer than 40 minutes. When I was putting the coins into the dryer, she barked "enough, enough, enough". When we came back to pick up the clothes at 7.45pm (the laundromat closes at 8pm), she yelled at us saying "why are you late?". I told her that on the website, it says they close at 8pm and she cut me off saying, "you don't need to tell me how to run my business. Just take the clothes and leave". She started closing the dryers as we were taking our clothes out one foot away and without wearing a mask. And as we were leaving, she made a remark saying "I know who paid you" (and I have no idea what that meant). Bottom line is that, if she wanted to close the store and go home early, then she should change her hours and not yell at the customers. The Russian lady is extremely rude she's going to watch you like a hawk as if your going to shop lift. The few times we went she was nice to my husband that is white and I waited in the car. One day I told him you go get cash back at the Rileys I'll start to load the washer. While I waited for my husband to return I wanted to use the restroom and she wouldn't let me even tho my clothes were loaded just waiting for my coins. She made a big deal about me not being a customer. After my husband met up with me he confronted her as he had previously been able to use the restroom before even loading the clothes and she not allowing a mexican girl to use it. This place is horrible! Dirty carpets, rude owner, the "Hot" cycle is lukewarm and my clothes don't come out clean at all. so basically I paid a lot of money to get my clothes wet and dry but not cleaned. I have been here several times so it isn't a 1 negative experience. They have a letter on the wall from 2010 that is proudly displayed in how wonderful they are. The letter is not only old, but has typos and misspellings. While this might seem unimportant and trivial, it goes to show how pride is not taken in important details of the business. Like clean floors, working change machines and staff that isn't scary. AND HOT WATER! The woman who owns it (or manages, not sure but she is always there) is rude. Very rude. This place is OK. I've been here a few times without too many complaints. However, smoking is allowed at the entrance which stinks up the whole area and the carpet is just plain nasty. Today the on-site manager refused to change either my $1 coins or $20 bill forcing me to look elsewhere to finish my laundry. My fault but shame on them. For a laundromat that is supposed to be for doing laundry; I don't understand why I was told to leave because you can't just dry your clothes. This is the nearest laundromat to my place so it's been my go-to for the past year. There are pros and cons to this joint: PROS: location and the laundromat is cleaner than most of the laundromats in redding. VALUE- prices for washer an dryer are reasonable. CONS: OWNERS, like previous posts, both owners are very rude. Unless you're a white republican with no children, I'd recommend avoiding them as much as possible. You'd be sure to see Fox News on the TV and the owners lecturing mothers to keep their kids close to them. An additional con is some of the more "questionable" patrons....if you've been here before, you'd know what I mean. SUMMARY: for a laundromat, it's decent. I continue to come here because the washers are cleaner than most in redding. However, the owners here are very rude and borderline discriminatory. I would give this no stars if I could. The owner is insanely rude!!! My daughter and I went to H&H Laundromat today, as we have every 1-2 weeks for the last several months. We have a routine that consists of walking in to get quarters from the machine, then back to the car to unload the baskets and then we proceed to wash the laundry. Today I didn't bother to get dressed up or put on makeup. I just went in my sweats with my hair up in a bun. I walked in, went to the change machine with my kid by my side, and then I felt someone breathing on the back of my neck. I turned around to find the owner only inches away from me... Owner: Are you going to wash clothes here? Me: Yes ma'am. Owner: Where are the clothes? Me: They are in my car. I was getting change first. Owner: I don't believe you! Would you like for me to call the police? Me: Yes, please. I can show you my laundry. Owner: Get out now or I'll call the cops! ..and she proceeded to get in my personal space to force me out the door. So, I am super upset guys. I know some small business owners are on guard because they've been given reasons to be, but I walked in with money in hand, a $900 phone in my other hand, with my child (who is nicely dressed), and I didn't even have time to take a breath before this woman profiled me and embarrased me in front of quite a crowd of people. She was so rude! This is not how we build on our community. I'd love some support in showing this person that we won't tolerate that kind of hateful behavior. Owner is extremely rude! She harassed me about getting change for laundry I was going to wash because she "didnt see me come in with anything". My husband was actually unpacking the laundry as we were speaking. She proceeded to say how I was lying and I should leave so as my husband came in with our laundry I sent him right back out with it and told her I would take my business and recently converted change elsewhere and left her standing there with a shocked look on her face. I am shocked by all the bad reviews of this laundromat. It seems that they are all because of the owner. Me and my husband have had one encounter with her our dryer was not getting hot so our clothes were being tumbled with room temperature air. She was actually the one who noticed. She asked how much money we put in and gave us the same amount to use in another dryer. I have witnessed her confront some customers but it was mostly when there was improper use of the machines. Example a man slamming the washer door a few times instead of using the latch, a person outing a blanket to wash in a machine that clearly said clothing only, and another person hanging out on the indoor benches who was not a customer (this may happen a lot since some homeless people hang out on the corner of this property everyday) but those did not seem too bad because there are rules for a reason. Also this is the first ever laundromat where I saw someone actually picking up and being busy in the business which I think is great. This place definitely could use a facelift, the carpets are stained and some machines are dusty but they all work well and clean my clothes and I will continue to go here. read more

Avoid if possible. The owner likes to lock the front doors at 6pm to prevent people from starting new loads. I didn't like that and asked her to open them due to the fact it's a fire hazard and probably illegal. After a rare snow storm caused trees to fall all aroud town, taking out power lines, and power poles, our home has been without power now for going on the end of days. Pg&e tells us we have extensive damage and maybe out til wednesday. I was able to wash my clothes at my parents(who do not have a dryer), so my daughter and i took them her to dry. Right when we walked in a lady, i assume the owner asked me if i was going to dry my clothes. I told her whenever a dryer was free, but i would wait until anyone else before me was done drying.
