Horrible horrible service! Very ghetto, very fraud. Just another business using a service and the lack of knowledge of electronics to get over on the average person. Had to have the police get involved and even the police told the manager the extra charge was ridiculous and not adding up to what it is supposed to. I paid 125$ deposit and was told 125$ owed to pick up. Then when retrieving my television was told a whole nother price the added taxes fees and shipping when my tv was never shipped. The older man seemed confused and like he didn't know what he was even reading and added a 50 delivery fee to evanston when he didn't come to evanston and the lady over the phone already confirmed they don't charge a delivery fee if dropped if to the same place it was picked up which it was. Had to go to the store and contact more police. BY FAR WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AND I HOPE THEY DONT GET AWAY WITH THIS WITH ANYONE ELSE! I can only imagine how much money they have finessed gettin over on people this way that have not even paid attention to this! Not to mention got back to the store with the police and they hooked the tv up after they told me they turned it on and it was working fine. Just to discover tv still doesn't work 311$ later. Very dissatisfied with this company. I was online looking far a TV repair company. I found their ad on Google Pay Per Click, which also states free TV pick up. When I called to make an appointment they stated there is no free pick up and that I can take the TV to them or they will come pick it up for $65 dollars. When I stated to the man whom I spoke to that his ad said FREE TV PICKUP, he said yea it says that but there's only so much info you can put on Google so on our website it states that a deposit is required. SOUNDS LIKE A BAIT AND CATCH SCAM!!!!!!!!! Then when I continued to talk to the guy about the problem he states he has no idea how much it would cost to fix. I have a huge TV and cannot afford to take it it to multiple places to shop around for the best price so I wanted someone to give me an estimate or exact prices so i know I won't be over charged and i thought this company would be a good choice. I searched Yelp for a service that could fix my wide screen TV, which decided to barely turn on, often not at all. After researching the problem online, I found that it was a problem that many people had with wide screen and plasma TVs - and that it was usually easily fixable and worth it, as long as the picture was still good. It gets heavy use and is over 5 years old - and has been moved twice in the last few months - once across country. I noticed that it took a while to turn on before I moved and finally couldn't get it to turn on with the remote. So I knew that eventually, it would probably not turn on at all. Because it is a wide screen console and it wouldn't fit into a car even if I had one, I was looking for a service that offered home repairs. I found A&A through a Google search for "home TV repair," but alas, no revie on Yelp. So I looked them up on BBB and saw no complaints registered; in fact, they were listed as a "reliable" service on BBB, so I decided to give it a shot. I called on a Friday to see what the service call would be and was told $79. I thought that was reasonable, and was willing to pay that to have someone come to my apt. to check the TV out. I had high hopes that they could fix the problem easily. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they could send 2 techs out the very next day - a Saturday! This really surprised me, since Sat. seems like it would be a very busy day. They called to confirm the appt. and kept me apprised of their whereabouts as they approached. The techs were friendly, efficient and really knew what they were doing. Within about 30 minutes, they replaced the two parts that were burned out. The total cost was $179.95 which I think was very reasonable, considering they came to my apt. so fast! So worth it! I was relieved that it could be fixed and they even mentioned that my TV is very good and that they could see nothing else wrong with it. They guarantee their work 90 days for parts and 45 days labor. I would not hesitate to call them again, should the need arise (but I hope not)! read more

I am so dissatisfied with their service they came to pick up my tv since March 2013 after calling them and going there so many times they gave me back my tv on September 2013, un repair and they did not give me the 160.00 dollar deposit back according to them because they were loosing money for all the parts they purchased to try to fix it. When they delivered my tv at my home the screen was shuttered and the cables inside the tv were cut!?... No idea why.. But I only know one thing the tv is un repaired and the $4,000.00 I paid for my tv are gone. Do not request their service you are going to be disappointed. read more

I turned my tv on last Saturday around noon and POP! the bulb burst. Since it's about 10 years old, I thought it might not even be worth fixing. I called one electronic company and was told I'd need to call the manufacturer to find an authorized repair shop. Instead, I got back on Yelp and went to the next highly rated company on the list. The lady who answered the phone took the model number of the tv, told me it would be $75 for the house call and that fee would be applied to the repair bill. She estimated it would likely cost $225 for the repair and that she might be able to get someone out there later that afternoon. I didn't believe I could possibly get this tv fixed the same day for such a reasonable price, so I held my breath until she called me back. Sure enough, she said she'd have someone there later in the day and that they'd call me 30 minutes before he arrived. She called around 4:00 and said the guy was 15 minutes away. He arrived right on schedule, new bulb in hand, and my tv was back in working order about 15 minutes later. The price was $225 in total, as the nice lady quoted, and includes a 1-year guarantee. I couldn't be more pleased and can enthusiastically recommend this company for customer service that way above and beyond my expectations. read more

This one guy James is twisting his tongue every time i spoke to him. I came across A&A Electronics and not only were they affordable they are also professional and they got my tv fixed and returned to me within three days. After researching tons of TV repair companies, 3 of which are within walking distance to my house but wouldn't do a house-call even for a fee, I found A&A. Everyone else willing to do a house-call was charging $100-125 to come and even see if they could fix it, and this place only charged $59. I called at 2pm, and it is now only 5pm and he is already gone with my TV! Unbelievable! He figured out the problem, quoted me for repairs, and we had a nice conversation too. He was professional and pleasant, and explained the problem in layman's terms for me. He said it would be 3-7 business days to return the TV to me. Although I haven't seen a result yet, so far this experience has been quick and totally painless when I was anticipating it to be a huge headache. Great job Tyrone! I took my LED flat screen to them for repair. The TV picture went out and the TV was only 2 years old bought New From Best Buy. These people charged me 135.00 to replace the panel and some other things they say went out and when I got the TV back and turned it on the picture was there but there was a big bright spot in the middle of the TV as though the sun was hitting it. I waited for the sun to go down and the spot was still there. The next day I called them and even sent them a screen shot of the picture but they never got back to me. Now the picture has gone out completely again and they are giving me a run around and song and dance about the parts coming from somewhere else and may have been defective and they have now way of knowing this when they purchase parts. I told the man that problem is between him and the people they get parts from, I'm dealing with them because they charged me to repair the TV. Now they don't want to even go back and try to fix it..... I will be contacting the BBB and the courts to sort this out.!! read more

James is very knowledgeable and looks out for the best interest of his customers. I called about getting my touchscreen computer monitor repaired and was told there would be an inspection fee, but that it would be applied to any repairs that were done. When I arrived, I explained the problem to James, who had a pretty good idea of what was wrong. It was something that would be difficult and cost prohibitive to fix and he recommended that I would be best served replacing the monitor. He didn't entice me to leave it with him so that he could charge the fee and he didn't try to sell me anything. He just gave his honest opinion, with a very thorough explanation and told me to save my money. I will be bringing all my business and personal monitors and TVs here from now on. Very unproffessional, terrible customer service, Crooks I decided I would support my black business and here it is....According to James, the lady up front was the "younglady", manager, cousin of the owner, and then the owner by the time I picked up my set a week after drop off for repair. The owner James refused to give my deposit back, snatched my television from me, and yelled at me. By the way James told me he was the owner(fyi he should have referenced himself as co-owner) along with his brother and; suddenly, he is only the manager by the time I pick up my set. He never attempted to apoligize for the rude receptionist lady upfront. She talked to me very nasty and ignored me as I asked her to get my receipt (fyi: I waited as she took care of the customer behind me for at least 10 min. As he would talk to me about my set, she would holler on the other side of me. He never commented on reasoning or apoligizing for horrible customer service. I brought it up about him being her superior (this is when he said he was owner) that she should not be talking to customers like that or even talking when you are talking. He says well she is the OWNER! They not only disrespected me but my young kids that saw and heard everything. They did not keep their preestimate of $150, instead told me that it would be like almost a hundred dollars more. He told me to keep calling everyday to see what the update is on finding a part. He said it will take like weeks to a month to receive my set back. I need to find my own part and then I would pay for the labor only. He told me labor would be three different prices. He answers the phone on a day they were supposedly closed. He tells me that there is no customer service on today and to call back tomorrow to see how much the tv repairwork will be. He informs me that he remember my set and the issues it has but he can not give me the price. I remind him that I missed their call this weekend; therefore, I am asking for my the total so we can pursue further steps as to my agreeance upon the price or or disagree. Scam, very dissatisfied searched online read reviews and since they were local I would give them a try. My 40 inch Samsung picture went out so I researched YouTube and determined picture was still there so lights were out. Made appt. and was told for them to come out it would be $59.95, which turned out to be $60.00 since Tyrone the repair guy didn't have change. He said the would have to go online to see if they could find the lights they would need in order to repair it, so they would contact me with a price. While he was there no other type of diagnostics were done other then what I showed him with a flashlight and him only unscrewing the back off. This was on 1/19/2016. I was never called by them and so I contacted them on 2/8/2016 and the call taker took a little time because she couldn't find anything on this and would call me right back. She called back and said the would have to see if they can find the part, as of to date I have not be contacted about anything. So mostly you give them money to come out and they never call back or repair your tv, but I'm writing this off because I should have followed my mind when the service guy that came smelled of alcohol that early in the day. I don't know about all these 4 & 5 star reviews but this is my dealings with this business and I have the un-repaired tv and the invoice. Not a very good experience. When the tech removed the TV from the wall he placed the TV directly on my dresser which left a big scratch. I asked the tech to call me with the p/n's I needed to buy so I could research them myself before committing to fixing the TV. Needless to say, he ordered the parts without my authorization, fixed the TV and called me with the bill before I even determined if I wanted to have the TV fixed. When I called management to complain, management yelled AT ME! I was worried I might never see the TV again plus they had my down payment for the pickup, so I decided to just go ahead and pay the bill. After I calmed management down by asking why he was so angry with me, he decided to knock just few bucks off my bill for their poor behavior.
