The cherry on top is how unprofessional they are and how dirty the store is inside. The experience was far beyond my expectations. Unlike other big box technology stores, they never made me feel like a non technical Oldman. I appreciate the way they treated me. I was told the diagnosis would take 24-48 hours. It took about a week. I paid $90 upfront for the diagnostic. I was later quoted $200 to replace the processor chip. I decided not to proceed with the repair and went to pick up my equipment. When I arrived, I was first told it was fixed. Then I was told it was not fixed but that a bad capacitor had been identified and it could be repaired in two hours. I agreed to wait, but then I was told they were going to lunch for a couple of hours. I returned the next day. The next day, the door was locked. I called and was told they were closed. When I asked to pick up my property, the owner became hostile and threatened to call the police. I was told to return the following week. When I went back at 11:30 a.m., I was told there was an issue at the shop and that I would need to meet at another storefront in Hyde Park. I was told to come at 1:30 p.m., then it was changed to 2:30 p.m. I refused the change, and eventually received the address to retrieve my equipment. In the end, nothing was repaired. I was also told they did not have the programmer required and that it would cost $200 for one. I later purchased the same programmer new on eBay for $35 and a replacement chip for $44. The communication was inconsistent, timelines were not honored, and picking up my own property became unnecessarily difficult. Based on this experience, I would not return.

She was confused when I asked why they hadn't contacted me with an update on the repair.
