I decided not to proceed with the repair and went to pick up my equipment. When I arrived, I was first told it was fixed. Then I was told it was not fixed but that a bad capacitor had been identified and it could be repaired in two hours. I agreed to wait, but then I was told they were going to lunch for a couple of hours. I returned the next day. The next day, the door was locked. I called and was told they were closed. When I asked to pick up my property, the owner became hostile and threatened to call the police. I was told to return the following week. When I went back at 11:30 a.m., I was told there was an issue at the shop and that I would need to meet at another storefront in Hyde Park. I was told to come at 1:30 p.m., then it was changed to 2:30 p.m. I refused the change, and eventually received the address to retrieve my equipment. In the end, nothing was repaired. I was also told they did not have the programmer required and that it would cost $200 for one. I later purchased the same programmer new on eBay for $35 and a replacement chip for $44. The communication was inconsistent, timelines were not honored, and picking up my own property became unnecessarily difficult. Based on this experience, I would not return.
