He located the precise set I wanted (from another dealer in Florida!) and hand-delivered it to our apartment for a great price. It's still one of my favorite service experiences in the city. Over the years I've recommended Royal to several friends, and if I ever needed repair work I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again. A big box store just can't compete with their wealth of experience and clear passion for the field.

"Hi, You'll have to drop it off so we can inspect it further. We charge $20 upfront for the inspection and will need it for a few days. Thanks." I brought my speaker to his shop and paid $20 to inspect. Still not knowing if he could fix or not. Inspection took two weeks and two days, Then I get a call from Anthony and he said he could fix the problem also my other control knob was also on the verge of breaking and he would fix that too. The estimate is between $180 and $200. I gave him the go ahead and my speaker was repaired within two days. I asked him if I could pick up the speaker within four days Saturday because I lived way on the south side and he said that was fine. When I picked up the speaker we tested it there to make sure it was working properly. Not only was it working properly and both control knobs were fixed but he added the knobs that were missing that caused the problem in the first place. My total charge including inspection $200. I 100% recommend Athonys Electronics, Friendly service, reasonable price, honest. I did not mind the inspection wait time it just shows that he does not rush jobs and wants to do it right. the picture on the right shows what the speaker knob looked like before I took it in. Every time I went into the store, I have been treated with respect, given options for what I wanted to purchase, and Mohammed has always worked with me to give me the best possible price on the items, which are always in extremely excellent condition and like this past Saturday when I was looking at the 12.9 inch iPad Pro that he clearly stated had a battery that is failing and likely would need replacement very soon showed me a 9.7 inch iPad Pro that has a good battery and although a little smaller serves my needs very well and once again got me the best possible price on it. I very soon will be in the market for an Apple Silicon Mac so I can run macOS Tahoe, asked him if it would be worth purchasing one with a damaged screen and having him replace the screen on it, and he said I would not recommend that as the repair would likely be quite expensive and recommended checking with him in a week or two to see if he gets any Apple silicon MacBooks in which I definitely will do. You cannot go wrong if you want excellent advice, excellent quality devices, or repairs with CHICAGO GADGETS, I will be a forever customer, and recommend to all my friends and family members all the time to go to CHICAGO GADGETS for their tech needs. 08/27/20 - Yikes Ive dealt w/L & L Appliances longer then I care to admit, but I have never been to…read morethis location. They have 3 different stores. One is on 3240 W Lawerence Ave Ave which is where I've bought 95% of the appliances I've bought from L & L over the years. The second store was @ 4250 W Montrose (this is basically a storage yard) and the third one that I went to today for the first time is @ 2553 W North Ave. they are nothing fancy just inexpensive functional appliances. L & L Appliances has a large assortment of different used appliances for personal & commercial use. I use to own 3 buildings so I needed to buy used appliances like refrigerators & stoves for the tenants & an occasional coin operated washer & dryer for a fraction of buying something brand new. They are a second hand refurbished appliance stores. I have an upright freezer in the basement of my house that isn't working properly so I called L & L Appliances to see if they might have something to fit my needs wo/having to buy a brand new freezer. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just functional to fit within given dimensions in an alcove in my basement. I called one of my contacts at L & L only to be refered to another person. I texted information to my new contact on what I was looking for and the search began. I touched base about once a week just to let him know I was still looking. Well persistence pays off as there are other people that were also looking for a utilitarian freezer, nothing fancy just functional to fit the designed space. I received a photo of the freezer that was available. It is a little smaller both in height & depth then the one I have now but we can live with it. I looked at it today at the North Ave location bought is and have delivery set up for tomorrow afternoon. L & L Appliances has 3 stores, but all 3 are currently closed due to Covid (no walk ins wo/an appointment. 2 out of 3 of my contacts are either deceased or retired. I set up a time w/Chuck the last of the Mohicans to meet him and see the freezer in question. I have dealt w/them for years. Sure they're not brand new and for my purposes they didn't have to be top of the line manufacturers, but I fear they're a dying breed as Father Time is catching up w/the owners of L & L. I have literally saved thousands of dollars over the years buying used appliances from L & L and will continue ur to as long as the need arises or until they close up shop. Thanks L & L for many years of good reliable appliances at a fraction of the cost of brand new ones.
