We cannot say enough incredible things about Jack Curtis. From start to finish, working with Jack…read moreon our ATS and septic system installation was an absolute blessing. If you are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, reliable, hardworking, and genuinely a good human being Jack is that person and more. Jack handled the excavation and septic/ATS work with an incredible level of precision, professionalism, and care. He clearly knows his craft inside and out. Every step of the process was explained to us in a way that made us feel confident and informed -- he never rushed, never talked over us, and always made sure we truly understood what was happening and why. What really sets Jack apart is his work ethic and character. He was always on time, incredibly friendly, and never once made us feel like a burden or inconvenience. Anytime something came up, his response was always, "I can go back tomorrow," without hesitation. That kind of dedication is rare these days. Jack is extremely informative and knowledgeable, and you can tell he takes pride in doing things the right way not the fast way, not the sloppy way, but the correct way. He treated our property with respect, worked efficiently, and kept everything clean and organized throughout the process. And as a bonus -- even our dog absolutely loved him which honestly says a lot about the kind of energy Jack brings with him. He's just a genuinely kind, approachable, and trustworthy person. If you are considering septic work, ATS installation, or excavation of any kind, do not hesitate. Jack Curtis is someone you can trust fully, and we would recommend him a thousand times over. We are beyond grateful for his work and his integrity. Thank you, Jack -- truly outstanding work! Truly value all the hard work :)

We've known about Jack Curtis for at least thirty years, and he has done underground work for many friends around the valley but we had never met him. So we called, and Thank God! He came out and looked over our situation, gave us a very accurate picture of what needed to happen. He brought equipment over and did some exploratory digging and gave us estimates on each house. His prices are very fair. He started working, buy the way he is one of the best equipment operators ever, and he kept at it until everything was fixed. Four days of hard work, lots of tree roots, stumps and broken pipes removed, until he had everything going great. I can't believe how hard he works! He also has very nice equipment. We highly recommend him and will never consider anyone else for this type of work. By the way he's also really great to talk with!

I'm warning ya ... don't pay him in full up front!! If it suits him and there's an opening, he'll…read morerip you off. He screwed me out of half a day of dumpster rental, which left him making more money off the dumpster and me ripped off and with my job unfinished!! Very pissed and disgusted, here - should have gone with somebody else but Mike was so nice on the phone to get my business. Then when I really needed to get a hold of him, he blew me off ... he was not answering my calls ... and his phone voicemailbox was full (what?)! ... as bad as that is, worse yet, he suddenly started ignoring my text messages! ... but I understand why ... because then he screwed me and picked up the dumpster 2.5 days after leaving it ... not three (as was indicated at the time of sale) which is cash up front (totally get why, now!). When he finally got back to me (four hours after picking up the partially empty dumpster), he rambled through a BS discussion contradicting himself about why this happened ... which boiled down to he wanted to take the dumpster back from me early to make more money with it. And he knew could do it! Because he knew I lived 40 minutes away ... his final, seriously aggravating reasoning was that he so kindly waited for me there ... at 5:30 frickin am (when he knew I lived 40 minutes away)!!! ... to see if I would show up and physically "tell" him I needed it longer. And it was never disclosed to me that, apparently, it's necessary to speak with him "in person" (if you can) at day 2.5 to inform him that yes, you need to have the dumpster the full, agreed upon, three days. And he neglected to mix in with his BS reasoning arguments that he had temporarily forgotten how to read ... until shortly after he picked up the dumpster, I guess. I want and need my half a day back ... but I can't now ... I have no recourse. If you go with him, DO NOT pay him in full up front!! He took advantage of my situation and screwed me for his own benefit. If you do decide to go with him, this is the person who you'll be working with ... up to you.

Mike was nice and helpful on the phone. Very prompt compared to the others I tried to reach. He did mention that he could be competitive with the pricing if I found something else. I appreciated that, but I didn't push the matter since I spent about half with the alternate option. We ended up taking the items to the junkyard ourselves after renting a larger truck and the junkyard fees were still less than what I was quoted for the last minute haul. Thanks for your time though!
