We chose this location out of convenience and affordability. Unfortunately, the price should have tipped us off that the facilities weren't good. When we went to get our things out, there were rodent droppings EVERYWHERE and IN EVERYTHING. Luckily, there were no live or dead animals that we came across or I would have just given up entirely. We lost some precious memory items and several items of value which were destroyed or could not have been easily sanitized. It was gross, I felt so nasty after we cleared it out and I was gagging. Now we are stuck having to clean and sanitize what we could salvage and with the cost of replacing the damaged items. To top it off, you aren't allowed to throw things away. The dumpster is locked. A lot of people put their trash around the dumpster because of this so I'm sure the mice have a field day with that, too. Obviously, I'm upset but I don't think I have any protections in this case. Don't use this place. It's not worth the headache, loss, and health hazards to save some money.

I found out that my unit had been robbed on 11/10. I immediately let the manager know and the response was, "I'm sorry but you are not a priority, if we here anything we will let the police know" Morning Star did not care at ALL. It was devastating to here that after losing over $5000 of collectibles, memories, and hand written letters from my grandfather. The people who stole from my unit ended up going to a local collectible shop and selling some of my items. The pictures attached are of the thief's who sold my stuff. I'm confident that these two broke into my unit and others at this location. This police have not reached back to me and the storage unit has completely stopped communicating. Units are often broken into and management has no responsiblity, their response is to "call your insurance company and file a claim!" We provided proof of a break in, broken lock and stolen items. We asked for video footage and as expected, management was unable to provide it and said... "not our reaponsibility, call your insurance company!" Rent and store at your own caution.
