Part will take about a week or 2 to arrive :) TV Model - Samsung QN55Q60TAFXZA Issue - TV would not power on and standby light would only flash Fix - Main board replacement After countless hours of research watching YouTube videos to trying to find the right TV repair shop I was lucky enough to find Ed. This man's communication and follow through was unlike any customer service I've ever experienced. He was able to fix my TV in no time. He was also the most reasonably priced find. He will provide a free estimate, tell you exactly what's wrong with your TV and then gives you the option to either fix it yourself or hire him to fix it for you. No upfront payment is needed and if he can't repair it, he will not charge you. He also has a warranty for labor cost. If your TV ends up failing after it's fixed within a certain time, he will fix it at no cost. My TV's manufacture warranty had just expired so finding Ed was clutch. I am being generous with 2 stars. Owner is very nice and friendly but just didn't provide good customer service. He had our TV for almost 3 months and it's still not fixed! He is very hard to get a hold of. I know he makes house calls but the voicemail is full so you can't leave any messages when you call. He only called me once to give me an update and he didn't return calls when he promised. I had to call several times a day for days at a tIme just to get any type of status. I really hope he can figure out his customer support issues because I want his small business to succeed since there is a void in that market in our area. read more

I had a problem with my Samsung 48" flat screen...no picture. As in the past, I took it to Ed in the morning and he had it ready that afternoon. He told me that this particular Samsung model (ten years old) is one of the very best and that I would have a better picture than before. He replaced a few parts and did a lot of soldering. Sure enough, I now have a great picture even better than the 4K on my Sony. I will continue to take any needed television repairs to A1 TV Repair. read more

This TV shop is a hidden Gem. Great work. Great Price. Great service. The work was done within 1 day even though shop looked a bit overloaded. This shop priced out at about $30 cheaper for exact same service when compared against Alamo TV, TV repair 4 less and other places. Some of these other places wanted $50 or more for same service. I had a similar experience with my TV as the last reviewer. TV would power on but the screen would stay black. Dropped it off a day after New Years (1/23). Dude said he'd give me a diagnosis in 24 hours and he did. He quoted me a week in repair time and after a week I had not received any communication. I called him multiple times with multiple texts and voicemails and could not get a hold of him for about 4 days. He finally replied saying "I will have it ready by tomorrow morning. I will text you when it's ready " not even the decency to give me a call back. A day passes by and again I receive zero communication. Again I call him and text him for a the next two- three days and no reply. His voicemail was full at this point so I can only assume I wasn't the only one he had been ghosting. I honestly thought this dude was going to steal my TV. Well he finally text back saying "I give up. I thought I could fix it but I can't . I will have it ready for you to pick up in an hour". When I went to pick up He still had the audacity to try to sell me another TV he just fixed up. At first he said he could not get parts, then he disappeared for several months, then in June he said he had gotten the parts and the TV would be delivered in a week. Ed at A-1 TV repair fixed our 55" Samsung TV within 2 days! TV had vertical lines in the picture and would screech when we turned it on. He was kind enough to make a service call and take it back to his shop to repair. Very reasonable and fast. Didn't want to have to buy a new TV ! Good as new.
