As close to the ones you'll have in France as you can find in the states. The sourdough bread is also very good. It's a must when you're in the mood for a pastry!

I asked what I was in for and was immediately schooled on all of the offerings by the owner..... she described every item with great detail, pride and passion. I ended up buying some items for my wife's work and something for myself. The prices seemed high, but believe me you're getting what you pay for. I ended up with two Croissants - Buttery, flaky French-style croissant, one Pain au Chocolat - Our classic croissant filled with two bittersweet chocolate batons, one Nutella croissant - Our classic croissant filled with delicious Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread, one Fruit Jam croissant - our classic croissant filled with delicious fruit jam and a Almond Chocolate croissant - Our classic almond croissant filled with two bittersweet chocolate batons. For myself, I took another customers advice and went with a savory Ham and cheese croissant - our classic croissant filled with bechamel (creamy white sauce), ham and cheese. The shiny sheen of buttery baked goodness was the first thing you'll notice before you taste that flaky brown crust. Every bite was a clean crisp break and boy did all the flavors of ham and cheese combine to make a fantastic breakfast. My bill was $40 combined for all seven items. (I believe the ham and cheese croissant itself was about $6 and change) The croissants my wife brought to work were a hit. One of the her co-workers lived in France for several years and was complaining she couldn't find a comparable croissant on this side of the pond. She was beyond impressed and commented they are better than most she remembered. Mission accomplished, she'll be paying her first visit and I'll be returning to try some sweet options next time! Small location, but a mighty and beautiful product made with love at Mamie Colette!

My standout favorites are definitely the cinammon roll (best glazing ever) - HUGE - and mixed berry danish. Coffee here is excellent too! Staff is always super lovely, seems like a family business. Small but cozy inside, with several bread baking recipe books for when you're bored. Cannot recommend this enough!!

For a place with "artisan" in the name, the coffee simply didn't deliver. We paid about $12.50 for two 12 oz. drinks, which is definitely on the pricier side. My malted salted latte tasted pretty bland, lacking the distinct flavor punch I expected. My wife ordered an iced Americano, and she found it wasn't nearly strong enough for her liking. Given the branding and the premium cost, we were expecting a much bolder, higher-quality flavor. The issue likely stems from the service. There was a bit of chaos behind the counter while we waited. Two different employees handled our order and seemed to be actively trying to figure out how to make the drinks. It was pretty clear there was some confusion back there, and something must have been missed in the process. The bakery items and sandwiches looked good, but the drink execution and value just weren't there on this visit. Three stars for now.

This bakery was like taking a step right into France. We loved it so much. When we arrived, it was a little busy, with several customers ordering coffees and pastries to go. They have some tables inside and several outside as well. We opted to sit outside since the weather was gorgeous. The employees kept calm despite the small crowd and were polite and pleasant to everyone they helped. I know it's not always an easy feat to keep your composure when crowds rush in. I ordered the Morgane crepe, which was stuffed with goat cheese, fig jam, arugula and walnuts. Wow. What a delicious combo. It makes me wish I had a crepe machine at home! It was fluffy, airy and the sweet and savory ingredients were perfect together. Even though I was satisfied from the crepe, I felt as though I couldn't leave unless I got a pastry. They all looked amazing. I purchased the Lemon Brioche and split it with my fiancé. The brioche was soft and easy to break apart, with the refreshing lemon filling. It was great. It doesn't shock me that there were so many customers in here - there are so many delicious foods and drinks to enjoy. I'll surely be visiting again next time I'm nearby!
