    Kids loved it!

Wow! I remember the food truck last year at an event in Mt. Holly and I thought it was incredible. Blown away by the place and their flavors, shakes, etc. The wife was talking about the truck and brownie sundae a few weeks ago, and I said, "Look them up." To our surprise, they opened a brick and mortar shop! Yessss! Cool little place, room for birthday parties, seats inside and out, nice big clear menu, and some fun specials, oh and lots of delicious flavors. I had 2 scoops the Lemon Bar (might be my new favorite ice cream) with the blueberry cheesecake, soooo good! The kids got mint chip and rainbow sherbert; separately, of course, that would be a strange combination lol. My wife had Lemon bar as well. It's really good. Lady working let us sample a few flavors to decide...and it was still a tough choice. Cannot wait to go back. Happy and sad that it's not closer to me. Check them out. Yum!

A co worker raved about this place so I went and it's very nicely decorated, great ice cream , had a cookie it was very good , the only negative is the girl who took our order usually I do not mention service in reviews but I've sent about 4 people to check it out and all 4 of them said the same thing, the girl who served us had a bad attitude, wasn't helpful and was borderline dismissive, it's very disappointing because this is a nice place

    Yummy

I went to Lexylicious on a date, and it's so cute in there! Perfect atmosphere for an ice cream date. And lots of options!

The Woods Ice Cream Shop is a quaint little shop in Rancocas Woods serving up milkshakes and ice…read morecream treats. While it's primarily a walk up spot with very little interior area, there are seats outside where you can enjoy your purchase. Service (5/5) is incredibly friendly, and they're more than happy to chat with you and sample any ice cream flavors you want to try out. They serve Bassett's ice cream, which runs out of Philadelphia and boast themselves as America's oldest ice cream brand. While I hadn't tried out their ice cream before, I took a look at several cartons of their ice cream and was quite surprised at how many ingredients they had, including fillers and preservatives. The ingredient list was less of a mom & pop local ice cream, and more along the lines of a mass market processed ice cream brand. I tried their cookies and cream ice cream (3.5/5), which was decent, but wasn't as rich in texture as I usually like my ice cream to be. Perhaps I just chose the wrong flavor, but wasn't overly impressed with my first experience with Bassett's ice cream. While I loved the shop itself and the employees, I wasn't sold on Bassett's ice cream personally, but would recommend them to others seeking an ice cream treat while visiting Rancocas Woods.

Michael the owner is delightful and makes time to come outside to say hello and check on his customers. Lit up at night. Highly recommend this place. Looking forward to going back to visit soon. 1st picture Michael on the right

Honestly, after having this now, I would have waited in all of those lines. Texture-- great. Firm, but still soft enough to scoop and eat without chew. Vanilla flavor was amazing and chocolate too. I usually establish a baseline on those flavors first-- and Bent Spoon knocked it out of the park. Staff here are pretty helpful despite the limited space here in the store. They were quick to serve samples, and get me helped. Not a lot of space in the store itself to linger, although there are some green spaces and benches across the street. If you'd like to eat it indoors you'll probably find yourself fighting others trying to do the same. Otherwise, plan on crowds during any evening, and all weekend. If you find a line, send one representative to wait, go walk around the area or the Princeton campus, and then come back. It's well worth the wait.

The bent spoon always commands that kind of line and is always worth the wait. In addition to their rotating flavors, they also have pints for sale, some baked goods, and even some hot chocolate (in the colder months)! The ice cream itself is perfectly rich and creamy, with a great consistency. The flavors are always unique, but not unwelcome. I always make a point of trying to stop in whenever I'm in the area. Just don't be deterred by the line: It's worth it.
