Loved the name of this ice cream shop! It sits at the corner of a beautiful street of shops, buildings, and artwork. Our family decided to try out a local New Jersey we head about on Yelp and ordered from Ummm Ice Cream as our dessert. You can choose a wide variety of toppings and they also serve slushies called water ice. The kids and I split a sundae with oreo ice cream and topped with more oreos. My friend had a water ice and she said it was really good. They also had waffle ice cream sandwiches and sundaes. If I hadn't just eaten a large dinner, I would've ordered it for sure!

Wasn't a huge fan of this place the second time around..... last time I was here was about a year ago and it seemed to have changed its appearance a lot! There wasn't anyone else in there when me and my party of 5 came in and when we looked around the decor was outdated and a lot of the area was dirty by what looked to be the waffle making area. I like that everything is made in the store from scratch- but this store sure needs an update and a good cleaning to make it more presentable. I'm sure if they made some changes they would have some more customers. I ended up getting a cherry water ice and it was good but nothing to brag about. My sister in law got a milkshake and she just said it was okay nothing special and my nephew ordered a small mint chocolate chip in a dish. The prices are good but for the fact it was so dirty and the decor was so old and dusty, I wouldn't be coming back for a while or until they update it.

Cute decor set up in the window display.

I discovered this place just driving over to have dinner at Brickwall Tavern just around the corner. My friend and I decided to stop for dessert. I was really intrigued by the retro decor; this place is just so cute! Funky colored walls on the inside yet a very old fashioned design. I was surprised they had many unique ice cream options at an older establishment. They make their own waffle cones which is pretty cool. My sundae was good, but nothing to write home about. Great amount of fudge. There is outdoor seating but it was drizzling and getting pretty dark out. We were really happy to have found a local spot on such a cute little street. I would come back.

Cute little ice cream shop with a retro feel. Prices are high but the portions are huge so you get what you pay for. You can get your standard ice cream cone or can venture off the beaten path and order their huge waffles and cream. This dessert comes with freshly made waffles and your choice of toppings and ice cream. Again it's huge so you can share. If ice cream is not your thing they serve water ice as well. Lastly, they have seating indoors and out.

PB Swirl, 2 scoops on homemade waffle cone! Boom!

UMMMM...YEAH! How have I never been here!? I've lived in the area (5-10 mins away) my whole life. Not only had I never heard of it, but I frequent places right around the corner from it. When you walk in the door you are hit with delicious smells of homemade waffle cones...the Ice cream, also homemade, was incredible as well. They have tons of flavors and toppings to choose from, they give you a generous portion, and are extremely resonably priced. My mouth has been watering since I left...I cannot wait to return. DEFINITE MUST TRY.

Stopped by on a Sunday night with the family to grab some dessert. The place was really busy (unexpected) around 8:30ish. It took me a bit to figure out what I wanted to order and decided on a single scoop of the cherry vanilla in a waffle cone. The waffle cones looked so good I had to get one. Mmm it was very good. Delicious, creamy, and had the perfect cherry flavor. I also tried some of the flavors that the other family members got, OMC (squared) which was oreo mint chocolate chip, mounds, banana berry (?) and they were also all fantastic. We just happen to be in the area which is why we stopped by, but if in the area again, I'll definitely stop by. There's friendly service and delicious ice cream!

Located in the Historic section of Burlington City, within walking distance of the "Promenade". Small ice cream parlor that makes their own ice cream. Limited indoor seating, and several outdoor tables with matching umbrellas. When we were there, one young woman working, and one guy who kept coming out and telling her more things to do. Pros: CUTE! Displays of vintage ice cream scoops, life-sized female car hop in front window. Benches that could be old church pews. The kids loved their ice cream. "One scoop" with massive whipped cream topping was more than my littlest one could eat. Home made whipped cream, ice cream, waffle cones, brownies, cookies, etc. Woo hoo! Air Conditioner set to "Nice and Cold" which felt great! Cons: Limited indoor seating. Tables look like they may have been rescued from a McD's. No restroom noted (Not saying there Isn't one, only that we didn't SEE it.) Parking could be a pain. My chocolate cheesecake ice cream was heavy on the chocolate, not much 'cheesecake', but still good. Tip jar for the server makes me wonder if this means they get less than minimum, and my tip makes up the rest of her salary. I hate the guessing guilt. Makes for a nice mini-trip. Hit the Post Office, let the kids feed the ducks at the Promenade, then promise them ice cream if they behave for the 5 minutes you're in the ARC Thrift Store across the street. $10.50 gets you 3 single scoops with one topping each, in a cup. Been in business for years, and always wins the "Best of Burlington County" Award in the BCT.

The onions weren't really sautéed as much as I like either. The beans and mac were unfortunately some of the most flavorless sides I've had in a long time. The beans almost had a sour taste. If you are used to Bush's Baked Beans these aren't it for you. Tenders were ok and thank goodness the tots were right. Other than that I'll probably continue my search for a good local hot dog joint.

They picked a perfect spot in Bristol Borough that they seemed to have partnered with Naked Brewing on. If you have kids the downstairs area is ok, but with live music I had to take my son upstairs to preserve our hearing! We found parking in the large municipal lot behind the building. Upstairs we found cozier seating at a high top table with service. Downstairs I believe you have to walk up to the bar or just sit at the bar for service. I also don't believe the full beer menu is available downstairs. The menu is full of tempting toppings and styles with your choice of regular/footlong dogs, hot sausage or kielbasa. I had a hot sausage with pepper hash and coleslaw. It had a snappy skin, decent heat and was delicious when paired with the sweet coleslaw and pepper hash. My friend ordered frank and tots and reported it to be delicious and filling. My son had a regular dog and we all shared a big pretzel with beer cheese. I had an IPA named Thank Frank that was about average for a West Coast style IPA and my pal had a couple of their darker offerings that he wasn't impressed with. Our server was nice and gave a great recommendation to add the pepper hash. She wasn't the fastest at coming to check on our beers so we bailed. I had one and she never asked if I wanted another and never refilled our waters. Prices weren't too bad. I would definitely return for some more of the interesting creations on the dawg menu, but the brews are really nothing special. Good solid time here and kid friendly, not so great service or beer.
