COME ON! We ordered several different taco types. They ain't fancy - small but flavorful corn tortillas, heaped with your meat of choice, sprinkled with fresh cut onions and cilantro. They give you either a red spicy sauce or a green version. I loved the carnitas one with the green sauce combo. At $2.75 each, don't expect Taco Bell's processed flavors. As a plus, you can grab you a bag of that Ariel laundry detergent that smells so so good, and lots of other Mexican imported goods.

I tried phoning in a takeout order but was met with "technical difficulties". Instead of going elsewhere I just drove there and ordered in person. Glad I did. The small shop in a local strip mall was empty. With the aid of a menu I pointed out what I wanted to try. I selected beef empanadas, grilled chicken with white rice and menestra, and a portion of their lentil "risotto". The empanadas were contained in crispy flour tortillas, nice mild and tender ground beef, good size too. But lacking a sauce of any kind. The platter was a good portion as well, the chicken was tasty but a little overcooked. The menestra( bean stew) was delicious, and overcame any shortcoming of the protein. The lentil risotto was good too, even though not Arborio rice, it was cooked down and contained cheese and lentils. It's a small space but clean and updated enough to be a good dine in choice too. Service was friendly once the language barrier was navigated. I'll be returning to try other things and for more of the bean stew. I hope to see other locals find this spot and add to this page.

And we also saw a lot of Tuna options for entrees, again, odd. I did want steak originally, but NY strip isn't my fave, and I opted for Veal Medallions- very good. Sauce was delicious, veggies cooked just fine. $12 for an Arugula starter salad with legit, one tomato wedge was again ... odd. My friend had the beet salad and Branzino special, said they were both good. Only off thing was her Old Fashioned had the coloration of a Shirley Temple, but the flavor was on par and good. A couple weird little moments but we really enjoyed ourselves & would love to return.

They also sell food for takeout (there's no place to sit). It appeared the food may be Vietnamese in origin.
