Staff is kind here it definitely seems a little understaffed, but they still make due with what they have. I have noticed the shelves aren't always the tidiest and there's usually a freight cart or 2 filled with boxes, but that's the only issue I've found at this location. It's also very conveniently placed as it is the only dollar general for a few miles. There is also the one on Monmouth Rd. too which is also a very good spot alongside this one. All in all I recommend this dollar general if you are in the McGuire Air Force base area.

The staff was great, one took me to the employee's only restroom in the back which he did NOT have to do. Much appreciated! The produce section had everything I needed and more! Since then I have moved out to browns mills and the acme is just a disgusting as my childhood memories recall. You can tell just by entering the store that it's the only grocer in town. Maybe if the township got other grocers in town this acme would try. The meat is poor quality and sometimes goes bad in a day when properly stored. The layout of the store has changed 3 times in the past 5 years. They are in the higher side of pricing as well. Most times product isn't even on the shelf because they can't stop the mutants in town from buying everything that goes on sale instantly. I would avoid this and go to New Egypt market place the next town over. they may be expensive, but at least it's all fresh quality goods. Avoid this acme at all costs.

The place is huge but very well laid out, and right when you walk in you are greeted by bold signage, bright colors, and a friendly customer service team that was happy to answer questions and help me find what I needed. This is the kind of place where you can grab dinner, groceries, flowers, and even prescriptions all in one stop, which is incredibly convenient when you are on the road. The ready-to-eat food section alone could be its own destination, with an upstairs seating area that makes it easy to eat and relax. The bakery was impressive with fresh breads and baked goods, and the meat and seafood departments stood out with a wide range of quality options. The flower shop added a nice pop of color, the aisle signage made navigation easy, and the elevated train running along the back of the store was a fun, nostalgic touch. Add in a full pharmacy, personal health section, and even some local sports swag, and this store truly has it all. Overall, it was an enjoyable shopping experience and one I would absolutely recommend.

Like it's a flavor that you haven't seen here in the states but you know the item. Check out the picture of my haul, por ejemplo. We all know Manwich tomato sauce in the can but have you ever heard of BBQ Bourbon flavor?? Well they have it in Mexico and it has made its way to Trenton. I've been a shopper at this location for over 18 years. I totally understand the demands on this…read morelocation during the summer, but there are constant issues with items being in stock and the store is getting messier. I tried shopping at different times of day in the hopes of finding better stock of items. Dairy is inconsistent and a few years back I raised my concern that organic milk was often empty. As of late, milk is scattered and cottage cheese is often barely in stock, and forget about finding Good Culture in stock. This is weird because I found the Target around the corner having 50-60 containers in stock all the time. Produce has gotten messy. Today, only one bunch of leeks remaining and not in good condition. There were barely any bunches of celery with the ones remaining being messy. Parsnips were stark and not labeled. I tried to create a price label at the scale, but you aren't able to search. I asked a worker and he told me he didn't know. Ham was non-existent. I wanted to find the packages of diced ham or a ham steak - none in stock. It's kind of weird because then I see really nice packages of meat going at reduced prices because they haven't sold, and often quite a few packages. So it seems some departments overstock while others never seem to stock. For years I've really liked the store, but they can't seem to keep up with the demand for the population in the area. Sad.
