Ordered a 3-piece here for my wedding, hoped to keep it for formal occasions.

Staff: 5/5
Everyone I spoke with was nice, courteous, and professional (yet fun!) without any trace of ego or superiority, which was great given that I had no idea what I was doing.

Ordering: 5/5
I worked with Eboni and she was absolutely incredible. The choices can be overwhelming if you are not experienced with bespoke, but she made it approachable as well as even fun. She was very patient with my lack of knowledge and I left feeling confident.
I ordered/purchased my suit on 2/19/17.

Delivery: 1/5
The delivery estimate was 4-6 weeks.
6 weeks after ordering, I called on 4/6/17. I spoke to the owner (Samantha, I think?) and she said that the tailors had been on vacation and that put things back about 2 weeks or so.
I emailed on 4/19/17 to politely check in and was told it should be there shortly.
The suit finally arrived on 5/6/17, which put it at 11 weeks for construction/delivery.
The attendant (not Eboni this time) told me because it was full-canvas it could take 30 days to conform to my shape, provide I wear it, move around, and pull the coat in various ways to get a better fit.
30 days later, now a month before my wedding, the suit still does not fit adequately and it's too late for their alteration period of 4-6 weeks (though given delivery, I would expect that to be 8+).
I had called previously and asked when a good time would be to order a suit for a July wedding and was told that February would be more than enough time to have it made, shipped, and altered (if need be) well in advance. Any earlier would just leave more time for my size to fluctuate.

Construction: 5/5..?
Cannot attest to longevity because I do not and will not wear the suit, but construction seems fine - both wool and stitching seem higher quality than normal store-boughts.

Fit: 1/5
Pants:
Perfect fit through seat and thigh (a rarity and a blessing if you play hockey and do squats) - snug with no extra fabric but not too tight. The calves were so tight though that they caught on my legs and bunched up all day.
Vest:
The best part of the suit, and likely the only part I'll wear in the future. Unfortunately a suit is useless if only the vest fits.
Coat:
The two concerns I walked in with (and was explicit about) were (1) shoulders that fit properly (i.e. the exact right width, no extra padding) and (2) shoulders that sit back so that the lapel won't pull and bunch up if I stand at natural posture. My coat failed on both of those accounts. I could not hold my shoulders at a natural angle, so I had a choice between having sharp creases/bulges in the lapel or forcing my shoulders forward and looking like a gorilla. Both look terrible in wedding photos. Absolutely inexcusable, given that the coat was the reason I came here. It was also wider in the waist and abdomen and a little too long - being 5'9" and 170lbs, I should not have a huge coat.
I spent most of my wedding in pants and vest, and that's the only time I felt halfway confident. The too-tight pant legs were less noticeable without my coat on, because without the coat I looked much leaner. With the coat, you would never have guessed that the suit was tailored.

Last week I saw side-by-side pictures of my wife and I together, the first at her brother's wedding the year before and the second at ours. My suit in the first was off the shelf from MW and the fit was comically better. Despite being the same weight, I looked athletic and lean. In the suit from 9Tailors I looked like a dumpy, boxy, upside-down triangle. Both were 3-piece, and the MW one was never altered beyond standard waist/hem.
Maybe had I planned for the 2x delivery time I might have had luck with alterations. Who knows. Would have loved for this to be a 5-star review, especially given how nice everyone at the store was in the process and how badly I want bespoke to be more of a thing in both my wardrobe and our culture.. read more
