Not sure if the date on the box indicates manufacture date, but 3/26/2025 definitely passed. Taken 8/12/2025

This is usually my go to 99 ranch supermarket as it always has consistent Asian food items that I usually look for, as well as some additional things such as a beef jerky and a small bakery. The pricing always seems fair and the associates are friendly enough, although I usually prefer to go through the self pay kiosk area since I usually have less than 10 items. The mango ice cream that's been going viral lately looked like the packaging might've been expired, which made me second-guess it a bit. Not totally sure, but I figured I'd mention it just in case. Other than that, everything else was fine and I'd still say it was a pretty good visit.

Parking can be a hassle. As for the actual store though, the selection here is great and everything always seems to be in stock. The layout is easy to navigate and it's easy to lose track of time shopping here! The staff could be a tad friendlier but it's nothing bad. They're just not as welcoming and jovial as I expected them to be. Especially during the holidays. During checkout, only one lane was open so there was a line. Thankfully they have enough self-checkouts that I didn't have to wait. Overall I had a pleasant experience here and look forward to visiting again!

2/15/25 I smelled this as soon as I walked inside the market (DURIAN!!!!) Now voted my newest, least favorite branch-- it is cramped (people giving me a close shave as they whiz past me), narrow aisles (too many boxes & other merchandise in corners making it more chaotic & cramped), staff (cashier not smiling or greeting me at check out, not even a thank you).... Overall NOT pleasant experience. At least she bagged my purchases though. Parking is plentiful but also smaller stalls. They get 3 stars for making the grade. Basic.

Self checkout without bags because they do not want to risk people taking a bag without paying the $0.10.

This location has hard to navigate narrow aisles and often lacking in inventory, but this not my reasoning for this negative review. The self check out process is atrocious and ridiculous. The scales are too sensitive to the point that if a single onion rolls off the scale the entire transaction is stopped for an attendant to assist. Once the attendant comes, they search through and scrutinize all your items. The attendants also constantly looks over your shoulder up close and do not understand the concept of personal space. This is all to make sure nothing goes unscanned. Adding the the frustration they do not offer bags. You need to complete your transaction, pay, and request a bag from the attendant. The explanation is they do not want to risk people taking a bag with out paying the $0.10 bag fee. Loss prevention is important, but do so with some more tact and dignity. If somebody wants to steal something they can just walk out in plain sight and the store is instructed to let them go, but they rather go out of their way to scrutinize honest customers at the shelf checkout and treat people with suspicion. If you don't trust your customers, open a few more registers and do not use self checkout. This store needs to learn to treat customers with respect and dignity. Stop embarrassing yourself and Asian businesses by presenting yourself as a cheap and lacking social etiquette.

Today's shopping experience felt very unprofessional. First, one staff member helped me get the wine, but after a while she said she was handing it over to someone else because she hadn't rung it up yet--just a complete waste of time. Then a younger male staff member checked me out, and when I asked whether there were any vouchers, he said they have never offered vouchers for purchases over 99. Were the vouchers I received before just my imagination?!! Overall, the staff here seem very unprofessional.

Total: $14.40 Pros - Fun unique outing opportunity! - Friendly, informative, and welcoming hosts. - A variety of fruits/vegs (about a dozen types in October: radish, lettuce, cantaloupe, cucumber, carrot, pepper, watermelon, beet, squash, pumpkin, tomato, strawberries). - Fresh! The strawberries and tomatoes were delectably sweet and sour. - The farm is big enough to enjoy. No long lines. Pay everything including the parking fee at the end. Cons - Driving there, you may notice a couple CLOSED (on Sundays) signs. Turns out that's for the same-address Nursery. The U-Pick Farm's still open. I was about to turn back. lol - Only one porta potty. So if you're desperate and it's occupied... don't think about doing a fertilizing favor. - The sink by the porta potty is small and button-activated, so that's two flaws: 1) you need to touch the frequent-contact button as you wash your hands, which keeps your hand dirty, and 2) your knuckles rub against the dirty sink basin. - You can buy some of these cheaper at the local grocery store. So if you think about it, you come to the farm to pay MORE to do the work FOR them. It's funny. But yes, you're paying for the fun, the fruits' freshness, and the experience. - Kind of a long drive. Expect total 1-2 hr commute. You may want to bring an ice box. Neutral - Watermelon was refreshing, but the red/white ratio was not as big as I'd like. - The fruits are smaller than at the grocery store, but that's likely because they're natural and non-GMO. That is, the store's fruits are often bigger cuz they're genetically modified. - Most of the fruit/veg rows are labeled, but a few weren't, or weren't clearly labeled. - Too bad the corn wasn't in season.
