I absolutely love repurposing! Given a blank canvas, the…read morebrilliance and creativity and vision people have to repurpose a "post office " into a welcoming eclectic gathering gallery is something phenomenal! A work in progress, the basement offers retail shops such as bookstores, disc shop, bicycle shop and a fantastic curiosity shop. There is an early era barbershop, not male exclusive, restaurants, Tataima Shabu Shabu (5 stars), and more. Unfortunately we were held captive by a quarter stealing parking meter. It ate 8 quarters and gave us time for 4. . Note to everyone, there's free parking on Center Street. The basement is a fantastic place. Just allow yourself time to relax, explore and enjoy.

What exactly happens down in the Basement... nobody is quite sure. Some say there's an archaic coffee shop and a place to get morsels. Others say there's a place to be served and groomed by professional Barbers/Aestheticians. Still yet, others say there's a multitude of services for the mind and body. I thought I would check them out for fun. It was fun and i am trying new things which is great. I did notice the total was a bit higher than i thought but have been dealing with migraine and neck pain so figured I must have made the mistake. I went to take a picture of the receipt for fetch and noticed i was overcharged for seeds. They were supposed to be biy two get two free. Which means i was overcharged about five bucks. I went back and he said he couldn't refund me but i could pick some things of equal value but he came up with 4.50 which is wrong but my pain is pounding so whatever. I picked a candy that was 4 but that left 50 cents he would admit to really a dollar and i don't want to spend more because of their mistake. Then i said forget it you get my fifty cents and he pulled it out of the drawer finally so i was only ripped off fifty cents and my time and frustration. They are a nice store but pay attention or they will rip you off maybe on purpose (debatable). Will not be back as prices are not all vlear and customer service sucks. Can't do refunds when they ripped me off ridiculous.

The ladies are wonderful and hilarious to visit with. We actually stopped here twice on this visit. The problems start with their prices which are no longer the cheapest amongst this type of store and the products they sell. The quality was once better than today. The value is the next issue. Many of the items are so small, they aren't even worth $1.25. Cleanliness in another consideration. The store is not very clean. I can't believe there's a nightly mopping regimen, let alone wiping down anything from registers to shelves. The strip mall has ample parking and they are in an excellent location. These pluses in no way make up for all the vaults listed above. 11/24
