What a pleasant buffet to find during our stay here in Minnesota. This is located inside of a plaza and looks a small at first but once you enter the doors, the restaurant itself is pretty big. It is owned by Chinese people, and upon entrance we were warmly greeted you need to pay at the counter first and I believe it's $18 for adults and $8 for kids for a weekday dinner. This is relatively cheap and I was initially worried about the quality and the variety of food they serve but after we sat down and went to get our plates, we quickly found out that they not only offer some traditional American dishes, but also have fruits, appetizers, soup, ice cream, seafood, etc. A server will come by and offer you drinks, and to take away plates. They were all very nice and often have interesting conversations with us. I really love the crawfish quality that was here. It was amazing I had to entire plates of crawfish on top of other plates I had already completed I would say that their desserts were not up to standard and tasted bad except the ice cream. Came here three months ago : my friends always came here. Smaller buffet, but good quality. The fruits were fresh, sushi was fresh and made as soon as plates are empty, sashimi made fresh (my friend abused it) and no one yelled at him haha. Went here with my boyfriend on a date night, and it honestly ruined the whole day. The food was soggy and tasted old. It was also overly salty. To be honest, I ruined my appetite by going here. Saw the mixed reviews, but I liked the catchy name so I decided to roll the dice and off I went. Location is at the western end of a strip mall in South Bloomington. Does not look all that appealing from the outside. Walked in and paid my ten bucks for the lunch buffet which goes until 3:30 PM. Missed the whole no alcohol thing when looking at the Yelp reviews. Not even beer or wine? LAME! Ordered a Diet Coke and headed up to the buffet. They have three buffet stations with Chinese dishes and an extensive sushi buffet. Decided to start with the sushi. Go to grab a plate and noticed that several had pieces of food on them - GROSS! This would probably be an automatic one star for many, but my standards are much more lax than those of a health inspector. Picked the cleanest plate I could find and started loading up on sushi. They probably had about ten to twelve different rolls. All were tasty and fresh, but it would be nice if they had tags for what they were. After the sushi did a couple rounds on the Chinese buffet. Plates over here appeared to be clean. The choices were very hit or miss. The Tokyo Chicken, Coconut Shrimp and fried rice were the standouts. The lo mein, the cream cheese puffs and the dumplings were disappointing for me. Apparently, this place is solid gold for many. Not an empty seat in the house when I got there. I have had better, and I have had worse. Maybe I should go with a two because of the plate situation, but the food was decent and nothing I couldn't finish. In my opinion, all Chinese buffets are comparable to some extent. What are the pros and cons to this one? Pros: 1. Larger selection and much better tasting sushi than what you'll find at other Chinese buffets where the sushi ends up tasting something similar to mush. 2. Price of your lunch/dinner includes unlimited drinks of your choice. 3. Good service- they pick up your dishes the second you set them to the side and refill your drink when it's already half full. 4. YUMMY ice cream, not at all overbearingly sweet. Flavors include: Matcha green tea and vanilla. 5. Very clean, presentable buffet. Cons: 1. No hibachi. C'monnn, hibachi is my favorite part about Chinese buffets. 2. Low selection in foods and nothing pops out in particular. Just very, very typical Chinese food (fried rice, beef and broccoli, stir fried noodles, etc.) 3. At slower business times, food gets left sitting out for awhile and begins getting cold and loses it's appeal and good taste. 4. Dinner time is far too pricey for the food they're serving- stick to lunch. Overall, not a bad place but not a good place. I came back here on a weekend and it was really expensive!!! It worked out to be over $15 per person - came for lunch, but they must start dinner prices at 1 p.m. or maybe they didn't have a lunch menu that day. Anyway, there's no way that I ate $15 worth of food. The second visit was quite a let down. The sushi bar was not stocked well at all. In fact, most of the time, the sushi bar was mostly empty, which made me so sad because that was what I was looking forward to about this visit. As a result, I was stuck eating their Americanized Chinese food. I don't mind eating Americanized Chinese food sometimes, but that's not why I came to this place ... I could have gone to one of the other, cheaper buffets for that sort of food. The place was busy, but not too full so they should have been able to easily keep up with demand, IMO. The service was still pretty good. They filled our water/pop glasses and removed dirty plates quickly. Sorry, but I don't think I'll be back any time soon. I will say that out of the chinese buffets that I've been to, this has to be one of my favorites! For the food, they have a great selection of sushi! And it's not only the sad, plain looking kind - they have special rolls with sauces, and even some fried. THEY ALSO HAVE EDAMAME... game changer. Edamame is life. You bet that I took a whole plate of that. My first plate of sushi and edamame was already worth more than $16, so you can get your moneys worth! They also have a good selection of dishes - the salt and pepper shrimp is my favorite. People would crowd around the crawfish and hoard the whole pan when it came out, so if that's your thing, that's cool... And no, I'm not exaggerating. People would fill full plates of that stuff and fight for mounds of it. Good thing I'm not into crawfish... Dessert was okay - they have vanilla and green tea ice cream (doesn't have a huge green tea flavor, but more like vanilla with a hint of green tea), but I do wish they had more dessert selection. We stopped here a little bit ago, for the first time, at least for me. And I was really impressed with this place. When we first got there there was no line to get in, and plus we paid upfront ( which I like better since it is one less worry. After we paid they showed us to our table, and always made sure we didn't need anything extra. I also liked how they not only provided refills for our beverages, but made sure that we were provided with utensils and napkins as well. I liked how not only was the food fresh, but I could get as much to my heart's content, for each entree. They really had a lot of shrimp, crab, salad bar, sushi, sweet and sour chicken, cream cheese wontons to name a few. It cost us about $35 for lunch for three and I ate about 20 bucks worth of sushi all by myself (and it was delicious!) One of the sushi makers helped my 12-year-old find sushi choices that weren't too spicy and she ate them all up along with the cream cheese wontons. This is one of my husband's favorite work lunch places and he probably ate enough so he won't want dinner tonight. A winner! read more

So disappointing!! Used to be good, now not even worth stopping in to look. My family and I were there on a Thursday night for supper. They were not very busy and that's why we normally would go on Thursday. This time around there was just one person doing sushi (my reason for going) and all he know how to make was tiny rolls with avocado, which I find gross. It has everything you expect for Chinese buffet, except the food is actually decent. I absolutely love seafood and sushi, and both were good. I would say the sushi is more of a crowd pleaser for most diners here because of the large variety. The seafood options include shrimp, crab, crawfish, clams, squid, and fish. I thought they were all good, but I get annoyed when the crab lacks meat or the crawfish gets soggy. That being said, it was the best I ever had from a buffet. The service is excellent, they do a good job of removing dirty plates and refilling drinks. They charge you as soon as you enter.
