Beef pho
Lauren N.

This place was so good! We got the deviled eggs with pulled pork and kimchi, and the beef pho.

Went for lunch and sat on the little patio, it was not busy at all and service was great! The food was crazy good, the pork belly appetizer is a must order along with the bahn mi. Full of super fresh, crisp veggies. Highly recommend for a unique lunch/dinner in Moab.

Banh Mi Sandwich, kombucha, switchel

This restaurant was so unique! Lots of vegan options if that concerns you. We got some kombucha on tap and a mocktail. Great place for sober folks. The staff was super friendly and gave us lots of great local recommendations. Cute inside and very clean!

What a pleasant surprise! Service was friendly upon arrival until departure. Came here after the storm and it was empty, which was nice. They offer booths and high top seating with real flowers. A nice touch. Menu is straight forward. We ordered the deviled eggs, a cup of pho broth, Bahn Mi sandwich and a cheese steak sandwich. All of it was delish. If you are looking for flavors outside of the burger and pizza joints, give 98 a try. They do take out also.

Nice ambiance and fast, friendly service. Both the bahn mi and cheesesteak were tasty, served with regular potato chips.

After traveling through Utah visiting parks we were excited to finally have something different than burgers and pizza. Thank you 98 for bringing diversity to the food scene in Moab! Delicious food and drinks. Our server recommended my cocktail and it was fantastic (all I know is that it had cilantro and soy milk). Nice dog friendly patio too.

Sunset

A little wait but so worth it. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich was the best I've ever had! I loved it dipped in the pho broth. And The World cocktail is an excellent version of a sazerac or old fashion!! We sat on the patio and had a most glorious sunset view. 10/10!! The wait staff was very attentive despite their busy pace.

Couldn't wait to come back to eat here! Ordered the Bahn Mi Nachos with chicken & they were absolutely delicious!! A heaping bowl of moist, flavorful chicken with homemade kimchi, pickled & julienned daikon & carrots & house made corn chips. I'm going back as often as I can this trip. Thank you for making body nourishing & amazing food!!

The appetizers were incredible...hence the 4 stars. The pork over eggs were so delicious we eat 2 orders and then had the pork belly plate. The bahn mi and pho was pretty standard, not overly flavorful. The salad was enormous and an amazing black garlic ginger dressing. The vibe and atmosphere was great and service outstanding.

pork belly plate, bánh mì rice bowl

I got takeout from 98 Center in my second week living in Moab. I got the pork belly plate starter and the bánh mì plate. The pork belly was spectacular, and I'm always a fan of marinated soft-boiled eggs. Same with the meat in the bánh mì entree. The side vegetables were also good. The rice was a little tough. Overall, I think eating in restaurant would be much better with everything fresh. I was in Moab helping build houses with Community Rebuilds. One of the new homeowners worked at this restaurant and I was honored to help support a local business!

Devils eggs

What a find! We got incredibly lucky and arrived just before the lunch crowd, managed to snag a perfect seat outside. While we didn't try the cocktails or mocktails ourselves, plenty of people around us were ordering them and they looked absolutely fantastic. We ordered the bowl, nachos and devils eggs and the food presentation was stunning--honestly, it was just fun to look at! But the real highlight was the taste. The second you bite into it, you know you are fueling your body with something that is both incredibly healthy and genuinely delicious.

Banh Mi Salad

Absolutely delicious! You can't go wrong here! I had the banh mi salad. It was fresh, and the flavors were amazing!

The restaurant was super busy and full house! Kudos to the host, who was so friendly. I love when I walk into a restaurant and am greeted by a nice, welcoming host. That first contact make such a difference. Food was interesting. It is a Vietnamese restaurant but there is a little twist to it, which I like. I had deviled eggs and banh mi rice bowl. They were both delicious. I never asked so maybe there is an option for it, but I would prefer to have this bahm mi bowl with some vermicelli noodles instead of stick rice. My friend had a beef pho and she said it was one of the best phos she has ever had. My only comment (not complaint but just pointing out) is that I thought there was way too much noodles in the pho and not enough soup. I did overhear someone asking for more soup.

You must get the eggs!

From the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful -- the service, the food, and the atmosphere. The entire place was decorated for Halloween, which was so cute and festive! We sat outside on the patio, which has this really cool little alleyway atmosphere. It was such a fun and unique setting for dinner. I had the Thai iced coffee, and it was nice and strong -- perfect! I ordered the beef yellow curry topped with a huge piece of tempura, and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. Our service was excellent, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We came from Las Vegas and don't know when we'll be back in Moab, but if we're in the area again, Arches Thai will definitely be on our list! Highly recommend giving this place a try -- especially if you're visiting Moab!

Arches Thai is a casual restaurant serving Thai food in Moab. Came here for dinner on a Thursday…read moreand it was not busy at all. We were greeted and seated immediately, and our server brought us a pitcher of water and a couple of glasses. We ordered the Po Tak Soup with Chicken, Green Curry with Chicken, Lychee Green Tea, and a Coconut Juice. The Po Tak Soup had great flavor and the broth was clean. It was very comforting, especially after a day of exploring. Other than the chicken, it came with mushrooms. Wish it had more vegetables, but it was still a great dish. The Green Curry was also flavorful and was packed with vegetables. The vegetables were cooked well. The Lychee Green Tea was way too sweet. We ended up adding some of the water from the pitcher we were given to help make it less sweet. The Coconut Juice was fine but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, giving Arches Thai a 4/5. Service is good, the space is clean and spacious, and we enjoyed both of the entrees. The entree portions are good for the prices. Would recommend to others and would come back to try other entrees, but likely stick with water as our drinks.

One side of the restaurant is for Sushi (where we decided to eat that night) and the other side is for the Korean Bbq (where you grill your own food at the table) or Hot Pot (where you cook your own ingredients in a flavored broth of choice at the table). The set up is pretty nice! (Pics attached) It's a set price (children and senior discounts available) and basically all you can eat! Meat offerings are on a menu and you tell the server what you want them to bring out. Then they have a buffet like set up where you can grab other items like vegetables, noodles, seafood and even a make your own sauce bar. Can't wait to try this area next time!!! Also I'm so excited to see that they appear to have legit Chinese DIM SUM here. The hours are from 8-3! Was told by our servers that currently they have a deal that Dim Sum is 50% off from 8-10am and 30%off from 10-3pm. Servers also told us that it's all made FRESH in house to order! We only had the sushi and I would give it a 4/5. All items made to order and we even got a free appetizer as a current promotion they have for dine in. Sashimi cuts were thick and generous! Service 5/5 We were greeted and seated by Tyron who was super friendly and informative. Our server Kadek was attentive, friendly and helpful with all menu questions and requests for adjustments. Ambiance 5/5, it was very modern and more on the upscale side! Definitely a nice place for dates and celebrations! Looks like a full bar too! Can't wait to come back to try the other menus.

We came in at 8pm and they did not seat us until 8:30, then finally took our orders & gave us one bowl of rice at 8:50pm and told us they are not making anymore. This is an all you can eat place, there is nothing else to eat the meat with except RICE and they didn't want to make more? It was pretty disappointing and we explicitly requested can you please make more, and they just said no we're not doing it. There was no policy mentioned, it just seemed like laziness honestly. I was with a group a people who eat a lot of food and would have eaten plenty of rice. The waitresses were also at the front of house just gossiping throughout the night, and there were tables that could have been cleaned. Unfortunately, the work ethic of many of the employees were subpar. It's disappointing that restaurants nowadays do not put the customers first or the representation of their establishment at a higher standard. Really disappointed and I wouldn't recommend coming back. I recommend Suehiro! Suehiro has been around for years and it's very clear why, when I want some authentic Asian food, I think they might be the best place to try in Grand Junction.

They were a hit! Be warned: these are not personal pizzas; this can easily be shared with 2-3 people. We also got 2 salads (their mozzarella and bread on the side is delightful) and a pasta alla bolognese. But the pizza is the real star of the show here: they handmake it in front of you, put it in the woodfire oven, and serve it to you fresh.

We were pretty excited to see a Neapolitan pizza and pasta restaurant in Moab. The reviews looked…read moresolid, and from what I remembered from our last visit many years ago, there were not many pizza options in town. We ordered the Salsiccia e Funghi, a sausage and mushroom pizza, along with the mussels in white wine sauce appetizer, homemade Italian cream sodas, and one additional limonata soda. The pizza was okay, but not the quality I would expect from a polished Neapolitan-style pizza place, especially at this price point. The mussels appetizer had potential because white wine sauce is exactly the kind of dish we usually enjoy with bread. Before ordering, I specifically asked about the bread because we like having enough to sop up the broth, the way you would expect at a good Italian restaurant. Our waitress said she would bring as much bread as we wanted. There were three of us, and the appetizer came with three pieces of bread. Given the earlier conversation, we later asked for three more pieces. The request seemed to bother her. When she delivered the extra bread, sensing her frustration, we said she could add it to the bill, and she told us she already had. That was frustrating because we had just discussed it before ordering. We were attempting to be more gracious, and she missed the mark with her response. She could have said ok, or thank you, or "no it's ok I told you could have as much bread as you wanted for the mussels" The mussels themselves were also uneven. Several had not opened during cooking, which is generally a sign that they should not be served or eaten. With mussels, the usual food-safety rule is: if they do not open during cooking, do not eat them. The FDA's consumer seafood guidance says clams, mussels, and oysters should open during cooking, and the ones that do not open should be thrown out. That made us question the quality control and preparation of the dish. The cream sodas were mixed. The berry version was delicious, but the mango version missed the mark. It was not sweet at all and tasted like the mango may not have been ripe. A little simple syrup, or ripe mango, would have helped a lot. The unripe mango soda ends up tasting a little like pine sol smells. We were also disappointed because the prices were more in line with what we would expect from a higher-quality meal. For the items noted above, plus one additional limonata soda, the meal came to over $60. I typically tip over 20%, but I took the extra bread charge off the tip, and the tip was still over 17%. Overall, this was not a terrible experience, but it was disappointing compared with what we were hoping for. The food had some good ideas, but several details felt off, and the service created a communication gap that left a bad impression.
