The service and food here are superb! From the moment we called ahead to get information on parking and seating to the end of our dinner--our experience was amazing. We highly recommend 98 Center. read more

Words fall short for the experience. This gem is a little off the main path, and we were grateful to find a bit of a sanctuary away from the crowds. The outdoor dining is well placed for COVID distancing, and the service was outstanding and so friendly. And then, my GOD the food. The vegan pho (I'm not vegan by the way) was AMAZING. The bevies are also tremendous (both the HiC and Golden-aid...excellent). I left feeling nourished in both body and mind and took the cookies to go. If you are looking for a place that is a bit away from the off-roading folk, this is it! read more

The fact that this place exists in Moab makes me very happy. Great all around!! Cocktails were fantastic and very creative. The Vegan Pho was delish, loved the pickle onion in there. Home made ice cream was the best part! You had me at Black Garlic! The other two flavors we tried were avocado sesame and blackberry serrano. All very interesting flavors, yet totally amazing! We went back New Year's Eve just for ice cream and cocktails. Last but not least service was great! Natalie was super friendly and kept us smiling even though she was slammed. I have already recommended 98 Center to friends and we haven't even left Moab yet. read more

Really good food, good beer list. The salads are big with lots of ingredients and delicious. The owner is from Philly and surprising his cheesesteak sandwich is not to be missed. Well done. read more

We took a leap and SO glad we did! After two fails and one settle when we arrived to town, we scoped this place out for lunch and I now want them in my town. Delicious beyond comparison. Great service. Price is all worth it. I'll be back. read more

There were 7 people in our party. We went for lunch. Everyone was pleased with their meal. We did the sandwiches as well as the pho. The salad dressing choices were fun, different and good. The beer was really cold! Our server was excellent. Efficient, friendly, informative and smiley. The decor was great. Someone spent time and thought on it. The choice of music was good also. Needless to say it was also clean. My one disappointment was that they were out of the popcorn appetizer that I wanted to try . We all are looking forward to going back next year on our annual Moab trip. read more

We tried 98 Center for the first time and had a pleasant experience. It was a little pricy for lunch but we knew that before we got there. We tried their steak Bahn Mi sandwich and it was just like we expected. We tried their beef Pho Noodles and again were pleased. However we also had their chicken Philly Cheesesteak, which seemed out of place, except the hostess explained that the owner is from Philadelphia. I was not going to give 4 or 5 stars because the dishes were not some of my favorite meals here in Moab. But because of that delicious Philly, I have come to a realization that although I think I have a diverse palate, I think that maybe I just don't love Vietnamese food yet. read more

Our most recent visit last Thursday has given us reason to never go back. We ordered the drink special, the deviled eggs with pork, and the Banh Mi Salad with chicken. The drinks were perfect, the deviled eggs were excellent, however the Banh Mi Salad was served with undercooked chicken that was raw with a deep pink and cold to the touch center. We advised Zoe of the issues. Zoe visually inspected the chicken and states that chicken was in fact raw, and would correct the situation. Zoe returned to our table and said the "chef" stated in effect that the chicken is dark meat and that it being pink is normal. "Pink" and "Raw" are different. The fact that Zoe agreed that the chicken was raw, and then came back with an entitled and privileged attitude to tell us that it was "normal" since they are serving thigh meat. Zoe returned to the kitchen and came back and served the same salad that had the raw chicken on it prior. The only difference was that the chicken had been cut up and cooked through. How can you serve the same salad that had raw chicken on it again? At this point we had lost our appetite. We concluded our meal and asked for the check, leaving the salad untouched. Zoe came back with the check and argued with us about paying for the salad and with reluctance agreed to remove the salad. Zoe then made the snarky comment, "well at least someone in the kitchen will be thankful for the free meal you just provided." Based on the totality in the lack of quality and care of the food preparation and the horrible service, Cafe 98 rightfully earned this one star review. read more

Dinner at this amazing eatery off the main drag in Moab. Seated immediately by the window. Friendly and attentive staff. Coffee shop atmosphere and dark wood décor but floor to ceiling windows brighten things up. Ordered the banh mi salad with mung bean thread noodles and spicy Thai chili dressing, and golden aid beverage. Possibly the best salad I have ever had! Everything just complemented each other perfectly. The golden aid made the meal that much better. Lots of vegan and GF options and house-made items. Highest recommendation and will return again. read more

Arrived at the restaurant at 7:45 and there are lots of people in line. We left our phone number and the sever asked us to come back at 8:45 and she would call us. We waited for one hour and come back at 8:40 but she said they sold out pho. WE DID NOT RECEIVE ANY PHONE CALL FROM THE RESTAURANT TO TELL US THIS AND WE END UP EATING MC DONALD'S INSTEAD. WISH I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STAR. read more

So good! We have a gluten and egg allergy that 98 Center had no problem taking care of us! We had 2 lunches and 1 dinner there on our recent long weekend stay. Would go back again if we stayed in Moab longer! The nachos, cheese steak and pho were some of the best we have had. Keep up the excellent work! read more

This place is incredible! We ended up eating at this restaurant three times over the course of three days. The quality of the ingredients is top notch. We got the pork banh mi nachos, the steak banh mi salad, cheesesteak and both the beef and pork pho. My husband and I both cannot have gluten and this place accommodates that really well and we did not get sick afterwards. I only wish they had a sister restaurant in Denver! We will be back the next time we are in Moab! read more

Walked in and greeted by a very friendly person "cozy" I believe was his name tag. I ordered the vegan mushroom cheesesteak. Honestly blew my expectation away. Delicious. My friend had the chicken cheesesteak and, was also exceptionally happy. Can't wait to come back to Moab to try the vegan nachos and pho. read more

From the actual meal, this should have been 2-star. But since the place just opened and this is Moab after all, and the joint does have elements for future success, I don't wish to sound like I'm trashing the place. The order: 2 Banh Mi sandwiches, one pork one beef, one cup of cold-Bree coffee, one cup of Vietnamese Coffee. Time: around 6pm, restaurant at a quarter capacity (a good sign!). While there are many variations of Banh Mi, and this is America, where we put our spins on ethnic food all the time, there comes a point where if you must call something a thing it has to resemble that thing to some degree. I had a difficult time thinking I'm eating a Banh Mi when it was served on an Italian roll instead of a toasted baguette, not to say that liver pate would be appropriate for the Pork Banh Mi, even if in this case the pork was braised pull pork and not the usual grilled or cold cuts variety. The presence of cilantro and thicker strings of daikon and carrots would also hugely add to the 'Banh-mi-ness' of the sandwich. And I hate to be complaining about service since the hostess/clerk was very friendly and polite, but something was terribly wrong when the coffees arrived AFTER we'd finished eating the sandwiches (granted, we were hungry, but it wasn't as if the sandwiches showed up very quickly neither), and many other tables had long gotten their food and drinks despite ordering after us. To add insult to injury, when the Vietnamese coffee seemed to have no hope of ever showing up (the cold brew had finally materialized by this point), upon which time it required my dinning companion to go up to the counter to inquire politely about it for the second time, the chef/cook treated her as if she was being a nuisance by being not in the least apologetic and waved her off with a 'yeah yeah, it's coming'! (Why it wasn't somebody else making the coffee--he seemed to be the only person in the kitchen--is a managerial misstep.) (And while I always find Vietnamese coffee overly sweet, this was way, way under sweetened, not to say that the time it took to come probably set a world record.) Being the only place in town focusing on Vietnamese food is certainly smart, and there can be some creative license in 'Asian fusion,' but please don't think people coming in here wouldn't have an idea about what good Vietnamese food is. And there must maintain a basic competency in hospitality and serving speed when the customers have paid good money and tips upfront, as the way the restaurant is set up. read more

Ate 3 meals here, Just loved their Banh Mi salad, well loved everything we ate and drank.

Pleasantly surprised to find this level of Vietnamese goodness in Moab. The pho broth was great and the banh mi was on point down to the paté. Super nice staff, good tea. What else do you need!? Would definitely recommend stopping in. read more

Getting off Main Street and into real Moab. This locals favorite is sure to make your day. I am a Moab local and I am very excited to have 98 Center as an addition to our restaurant scene! Food, drinks and a little night life entertainment, all things Moab could use more of. I have eaten the Steak Pho, Banh Mai, the pulled pork, and the braised fennel noodles. All of them were fabulous! I would in the future add pulled pork to the fennel noodles because it would be amazing. When eating the food at 98 center I could tell the amount of effort put into the food, house made beef broth for the pho and house made slow cooked pulled pork. 98 Center also has a great Drink menu, there a verity of drink specials which you won't find many places in Utah, and they have a verity of cocktails you may find in city cocktail bars. They also have beer and simple cocktails too. Something for everyone! They have daily specials like, open mike Monday, free wifi Wednesday's, thirsty Thursday's, and music throughout the week as well. It also fills a void where food is limited between 3-5 and after 9pm in Moab. Moab is a better place with 98 Center! read more

I can't speak highly enough of this place. I got the mushroom "steak" and cheese one night and the vegan pho the next. Both meals were excellent. The mushroom "steak" and cheese was hot, melty, savory and perfectly seasoned. The vegan pho was recommended to me and it was everything I could've hoped for. The broth was perfectly salty and flavorful, with a good helping of noodles. If you're a vegan in Moab this is a must try spot. read more

Would have liked to try after a recommendation, but we sat for 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. To be clear there was only one other table seated.
