Great service, they sucked all the old powdered rock wool out of our walls then blew in Air Krete foam. Our western living room wall got too hot to sit next to now it's cool as a cucumber! And super fire resistant too. They did our attic with the yellow foam as it can actually be stepped on without your foot going through the ceiling. read more

I called this company several times and left voicemail. Never got a call back. Finally reached Kevin and explained what I wanted done. He quoted me a price and I told him I would think about his offer and compare other options. After a few days I decided to move forward with his offer and called him back. Again I left several voice mails and, again, no return call. Finally I reached Kevin again told him I would like to go ahead with the job. He said he would call me back tomorrow to schedule and he asked me to text him my address etc. which I did. 9 days later and no response. I called Kevin again and now he says his machine is not up and running and he doesn't have the time to get it ready. In the time it took this guy to tell me he can't do the job, I could have bought the equipment, taken the training, and done the job myself. read more

Called them to speak with someone, was transferred a couple of times. Finally someone picked up the phone and said, 'yes?'. They immediately sound bothered by me calling. The proper way to pick up a phone to answer a sales call is "Hello, my name is ..., How can I assist you today?" Retraining is in order for sure. Then when I ask who I am speaking with, I get a mumbled, could-care-less reply that is unintelligible so I hang up. However, I wanted to say thank you, because I didn't know that these types of fans were available until I received your flyer in the mail and I am definitely going to pursue getting them for my 5000sf home from a local HVAC contractor who wants my business Update 7/28/17 - Purchased a 6,500 and 3,300 CFM unit from another company in town with great yelp reviews and it's being installed next Thursday. 8/7/2017 - Curley's Home Services came and installed 2 QuietCool units for almost 10,000CFM and we are so happy. What a pleasant experience! Kevin and his team did an amazing job with spray foaming my kitchen and bathroom. Kevin was available for all my questions, flexible with timing and showed up when he said he would. 951 Construction did a professional job, cleaned up after the job and removed the remaining trash. I owned a business on the east coast and spray foamed everything. Spray foam insulation is great for stopping cold, wind, helps support the structure, keep rodents and doesn't sag like other insulations out there. I would never use any other kind of insulation. it's the only way to go and 951 Construction is the only company I will ever hire moving forward here in San Diego! read more

I scheduled a week ago to have a whole house fan installed. First spoke with Steve who gave me a competitive quote and told me he would call me back for an installation date. He never did call back. So I called again and spoke with the owner who said they would come today 6/28 to perform the install in the afternoon. I received a call this afternoon stating that they weren't going to be able to do it today and would have to reschedule for 5 days later. I told them this was not going to work and I had stayed home from my job today to accomodate. Look, understand people get busy or jobs take longer but come on, schedule your installs a little more responsibly and make accommodations to quickly remedy a situation. On a side note, called a competitor and they are doing the install this weekend and were $250 cheaper. Two stars for at least calling me to tell me they couldn't make it. read more

Talked with Kevin and received a verbal quote based on the information I provided. Also emailed the information on our house. Did not receive a response to my email so called back 2 weeks later and was able to get an installation date. Unfortunately looking at my notes I saw the price was $50 higher than the first quote. Bob the installer did an excellent job. Bob assessed our house configuration and attic construction. Bob worked with us to plan out our installation to our satisfaction. Bob was clean and a hard worker even with temperatures in the high 90's and attic temperature well over 100. Bob instructed us on the fan operation and advised how to use our Quiet Cool fan to obtain maximum results. Our Quiet Cool fan cools our house in the evening as well as the attic resulting in cutting our air conditioning use by at least 60% even when temps get into triple digits. read more

Just over the phone, I'm impressed by Kevin's knowledge and competence. He thought up potential problems I'd never suspected, and had solutions ready. No sales pitch, just discussing the project. Great experience all around. Bob, the installer who came out, was fantastic. So professional, hard working, and knowledgeable. Kevin, over email, made it all so easy. No nickel & diming, and everything was upfront and clear. My house is very old and they were able to work with all of its "charms" no problem without extra charges coming out of the blue. The QuietCool fan is indeed super quiet and does the job well. This was all done in November, 2016, so late in getting a review in but now I have a good experience putting the fan through the paces. read more

Best experience ever. Bob came and installed my Stealth Pro 3.3 last week. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. There was no mess left behind and the system looks and works perfectly. My 8 year old son kept asking Bob questions and following him around and I was pleasantly surprised to hear his kind and patient responses. I also needed to have 2 Gable vents installed so Bob came back yesterday to finish the work. He colored matched the paint perfectly and everything looks and works well. My only regret is not having the system installed sooner. I did lots of research and I had called several different contractors and by far, 951 construction had the best prices. The closest competitor price was still 150$ over what I paid. I plan on having a system installed at my parents home and will definitely be hiring 951 construction again. Kevin and his wife installed our house fan back in July. They were very nice and professional and did an excellent job. We do not have central air or any AC units in our home in Montebello and this house fan has saved our lives!!! Our house stays cool even on 90-100 degree days. At night, once the temperature lowers beyond the temperature in the house, we open the windows and turn on the fan all night long. In the morning we wake up to a cool fresh house and close everything up for the day. Wen we come home from work, the house is still nice and cool and feels like we have AC running. Our electric bill has not increased too much. We are around $100 for a 1400 sqft house with 6 people living in it. Also, the sound is very quiet and resembles the sound of quiet central air. We have never been bothered by the sound and it's mostly unnoticed. Not even loud enough to create white noise at night while we are sleeping. I am so happy I chose to do this instead of have central air installed. This has been a wonderful experience and I would recommend this to anyone considering having one (or two) installed. read more
