    Spicy Garlic Strips & Fries

This place is a gem! Delicious Korean-style food, great drinks, and amazing flavor all around. I stopped by during my visit to the area from Puerto Rico, and honestly no regrets at all. The chicken was perfectly crispy, the fries golden, and everything tasted super fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. The service was quick and friendly, and the vibe was casual but cozy the kind of place you immediately want to come back to. Definitely one of those hidden gems worth checking out if you're in town. Highly recommended!

Great Korean street food ( mostly bowls, along with fried chicken) in a spartan K Pop ambience with good service 5 star food: my chicken bulgogi ( sort of chicken w veggies and spice in a bowl) was incredibly good. 4 star ambience: it's a cute idea but the stripped down K Pop communal table are a tad uncomfortable 4 star service: service was good but not great. Even though not many people there, ordering was slightly chaotic and food was a bit slow to come out

Ahh absolutely have a new favorite spot!! Service: josiah (sp) greeted us when we walked in with a smile and asked if it was our first time. He was very attentive and gave us some pointers as well. A food establishment can be just ok but the people that work there makes a difference and we enjoyed his service. Food- we got the Japchae Bop with tofu and the Beef Bulgogi Dupbop. Ahh both were very delicious. The sauce had a sweet taste to it but between the rice and veggies it was well balanced. It was very filling as well. Next time i will try the wings. It looked so delicious Drinks- passion fruit fruit tea with mango boba . More sweet than i like but a little added water made it perfect for a warm day 100% will be back!!! See you guys soon

Tried 92 Chicken for the first time, and overall it was a solid experience. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the value meal made it worth it -- good portion size and definitely enough to share or save for later. The chicken was flavorful, crispy, and well-cooked -- exactly what you hope for at a Korean fried chicken spot. As for the kimchi, it was okay, but I personally wish it had been more pickled and tangy to balance out the richness of the chicken. Not a bad first impression -- I'd come back, especially for the chicken.

I often think of fried chicken as a niche dominated by the American south but it is interesting to note that fried chicken became a Korean obsession after KFC came to the country in 1984 ahead of the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Since then restaurants have sprung up that serve chimaek, pairings of chicken and beer. Now in Korea, the initials KFC we associate with Kentucky Fried Chicken, are more likely to stand for Korean Fried Chicken. I was excited to see a Korean Fried Chicken restaurant open near me in Pompano in the 62nd Street Plaza on the corner of Dixie Hwy and Cypress Creek Rd. After seeing them featured prominently on social media I decided to visit for a take out dinner. The first sign that something was amiss was that except for me, the restaurant was completely empty. After placing my order of bulgogi beef and a pound of honey lemon chicken tenders I sat and waited at one for their wooden tables with orange chairs and checked out the cooler stocked with unfamiliar Korean sodas, rice wine, and Korean beer. Once home I opened my meals and tried the beef bulgogi which translates to fire meat. Thin slices of savory and sweet marinated beef are grilled and served with vegetables over rice. It is one of my favorite Korean dishes and this was a tasty representation. Unfortunately the same could not be said for the chicken. I was given four pieces of flat, inedible, rubbery chicken which they charge $2 extra for sauce. I ended up throwing it all away. It was a complete waste of $15. I don't think the people who are frying the chicken know what they are doing. For really good Korean Fried Chicken head to Choong Man Chicken in Davie.

Rubbery, greasy horrible chicken tenders with their honey lemon sauce. 4 in an order. We left 3 1/2.

I don't know how some people are giving this place high ratings when it was by far the worst chicken wings or chicken tenders my wife and I have ever had. This place should not be called 92 chickens. It should be called 92 crappy, chewy, rubbery, overpriced garbage. I know that sounds very harsh, but I try to be very honest about my food experience, and as always as indicated in my other reviews, we paid and we didn't return any food and we left very very dissatisfied. My wings, which came with eight to an order were nothing more than rubbery, fatty, small wings with an excessively heavy layer of breading. Not to mention they were so greasy and tasted like old oil. My wife's tenders were absolutely horrible. And when I say horrible to the point and you'll see in the photo, it came with 4 in an order and there were 3 1/2 left. Again her tenders were like rubber bands, not fresh, and not good at all. The worst tenders we have ever tried. Here's the kicker to everything and I hate putting price tags on things but when a meal is bad, I put it on them . An order of wings is $12.95 but if you want sauce it's two dollars more so now you're at $14.95 for 8 wings. And for two dollars for sauce, they put just enough on so the top portion of the wings has sauce on them. They didn't even coat the entire wing. Again, my wife's tenders had some sauce on them and then had a thick layer of grease because the tenders were so greasy. Absolutely 100% will never go back there and I truly hope you never waste your money if you haven't been yet. Sum up the price : An order of 8 wings An order of 4 tenders One order of fries One Coke One beer $50.00 Shameful place.

Craving fried chicken I decided to drive a bit to the new 92Chicken. A Korean fried chicken place east of 95 doesn't happen every day or decade. I was spoiled in NYC with Korean fried chicken wing places galore. If you haven't had KFC (Korean, not Kentucky) you need to give 92Chicken a try. Crispy and moist, with a lot more sauce choices than the other KFC. The place is new, bright and clean, almost spartan. I was the only customer placing an order, and they came quicker than I had heard. I ordered 8 wings and including $2 for garlic/chili sauce, they came out to about $2 a piece. Not cheap, but the wings were crispy, tasty and moist. Pretty delicious. I've had better Korean wings, but hey, I'd have to go to NYC Koreatown. So I'll probably be back when I get my next craving. Sauce on the side especially if taking to go. There's nothing sadder than soggy KFC.

We had a very good lunch here today. It's located on the south side of Cypress Creek Rd (62nd) just west of Dixie Highway. There's parking right out front. It's a fast, casual restaurant. This is a franchise, but they have a lot of leeway in sone of the non-chicken options. They've only been open a few weeks. A grand opening is planned in the future. The guy behind the cash register was quite helpful in making a choice of what to order. He recommended the wings over the tenders. And narrowed down the sauce choices for us. We both wound up getting a lunch special with chicken wings. They come with your choice of one side. I opted for white rice and my husband picked French fries. I went with the honey garlic sauce. My husband got the yangyeom. The wings were lightly coated in a crunchy and crispy batter. They were served hot -- freshly made. My sauce was a good, but a tad sweet. I'd choose another one next time. The yangyeom was a sweet and spicy flavor -- not as hot or spicy as I'd thought it would be. I liked it better than the honey garlic. The place is spotless. We ate in, but they do a lot of takeout too. The lunch specials come with a soda -- they're waiting for their alcohol license -- which you get from a cooler. They have other options besides wings, tenders, and fried chicken. Several of these include a kimchi rice, a beef bulgogi, and a couple pork dishes -- among others. They also have a couple onion toppings -- one "snow "and one "spring". We will definitely be back. Lots more sauces to try....

Korean sweet and spicy sauce on chicken strips

Because of the writers strike, regular TV shows are late returning to the screen. So, I have been hooked on Korean romance dramas on Netflix. And in almost every one of those shows, they are constantly eating Korean fried chicken, something I love. So I decided to try this new place. It's a small store front that seats about 20 people. But we opted for take out. You order your cut of chicken and then your sauce. There is an additional price for the sauce. We got the spicy garlic on wings and the Korean yangyeom (a bit sweet and spicy) on chicken strips. We also got an order of the spicy pork dupbop. And I love pickled radishes, so I got a container to accompany the chicken. Our server was very friendly and helped us choose our sauces and the spicy pork dupbop. You can get the sauce for the chicken on the side and apply it yourself. Now I know why. Because they kinda threw the sauce on the chicken. Not evenly and not properly covered. I preferred the wings and the spicy garlic sauce. The chicken strips were very meaty. So much so, that I felt like half way through a piece I was out of sauce. And the sauce we chose for the strips was a bit too sweet for me. Also, the sauce and the crunchiness seem to last longer on the wings. And they were meaty enough. The spicy pork dupbop was delicious. However, it topped a mound of white rice; so, we got very little pork and mostly rice with the pork topping. The radishes were definitely a nice accompaniment to the spicy food. Our three meals and one side item with tax added up to more than $50. So the meals are not cheap. I definitely would recommend the wings with a sauce of your liking. And don't forget the radishes.

92Chicken is a Korean Fried Chicken haven. If you've never had Korean Fried Chicken before, the chicken is extra crispy from a double frying technique. They have wings, tenders, and nuggets along with fries Korean rice dishes like bulgogi and tteokbokki (rice cakes in a spicy sauce). So far we've tried the 8 pieces of wings in the Yangnyeom sauce (a sweet, garlicky savory sauce), Spicy Garlic and a Sweet Onion creamy dressing topping. The chicken is perfectly fried and piping hot! The wings aren't "smothered" in sauce to keep them crispy but the consistency is thick enough to get a saucy wing. Fresh fried chicken is always better dining in but delivery was just as good. So crispy!!!! Skip Popeyes or those other chicken places and try 92Chicken!

Yeye Jiang is located on the ground floor of the Aviara East Pompano apartments, on the corner of S. Dixie Hwy & McNab. I greeted a nice male employee who was informative about the different drinks; what were the most requested drinks, what the drinks were made with, and the description of the drinks' unique flavor. After overlooking the menu, I decided to try a medium lychee fruit tea with lychee jelly (extra charge). It was a very tasty drink; Jasmine green tea infused with lychee - lightly sweet and refreshing. I was also informed that the bakery items are half off within a few hours before they close. I look forward to another visit. I would like to thank Yelper, Henry V L. for letting me know where to park when visiting the business.
