I got my food from the drive thru very quickly. The burger was surprisingly good. The bag advertised the food as "cooked outdoors style" and that burger tasted like a burger bought at the grocery store, cooked over a flaming grill. The fries were a bit soft, but they were well salted, and covered in standard cheese sauce and fresh jalapeno. White cheddar cheese bites were tasty, but they didnt stretch like a mozzarella stick. The chocolate shake i ordered was super thick, creamy, and delicious. It's a simple burger, simple fries, simple shake, and it's cheap. And sometimes, simple and cheap is all you need. There was only one person ahead of us in the drive-thru, so it took maybe about 3 minutes for us to get our food once we ordered. I would consider Del Taco to be a healthier Taco Bell.
