Knowledgeable, diagnosed the problem correctly when another large company recommended an unnecessary repair

I needed my heater fixed and called 911 Heating Cooling & plumbing. They have helped me out before and I was not displeased this time, either. It's easy to give them a 5 star rating for they deserve more than that if I could give them one. They are very professional and take the time needed to diagnose and fix the problem correctly, and you can't do better than that, plus being friendly and all around great, kind hearted people! It's just so nice to be able to call someone you can trust and know that they will do the job right. Thanks again, 911 Heating!!! read more

Needed to have help with a running toilet. Simple repair but beyond me! Called 911 Heating & Cooling and they were able to get a plumber out the next day. Justin sent a text message letting me know he was on his way. Very efficient, came within the time period indicated and completed the job quickly. I have used this company for several years and they never disappoint! Thank you Darrell and Scott! read more

911 Heating Cooling & Plumbing - Plumbing Near Me

I use these guys for anything related to my AC/Heat Pump or plumbing and they have aways come though big time. Honest, dependable, good value. Robert came yesterday to check out out two AC units and gave us a passing grade (whew). He was great; explained things, very thorough and nice guy. I'd recommend this outfit highly. And Jeanette who somehow coordinates all the activity is such a sweetheart. Scott too was excellent with our Soft water replacement. read more

We had a slab leak. Needed to repipe hot water line. These guys came in, talked with me about the different approaches. I chose the most challenging option. They did a stellar job. Scott and Justin are hard working, honest, punctual, knows what they're doing. This is my third call in a year and a half and each time, they have been the best I could have asked for. I am genuinely glad that I can call on them. read more

Needed a plumber come to evaluate an electric tankless water heater that had been called out during a home inspection for a home sale. Justin efficiently began his evaluation, ran his tests and provided a very thorough and easy to understand explanation of his results. He wrote up his service evaluation that we could deliver to the buyer explaining his findings. I have used this company for my own home and when I need plumbing services when I have a home under contract during the inspection period. They are always prompt, efficient, professional and extremely knowledgeable. read more

My realtor Sherri Smay of AZUniqueHomes.com recommended 911. Besides recommending her as a great realtor, I have always been very happy with the expedient answer to my problem at hand. They arrive when they say and always take complete care of the repair. I recommend them to friends when asked. Thankyou. Darrell and Scott.....Kathi K read more

They were called to do an inspection for our new home buyers. When they arrived they were not wearing masks when they approached my door. They banged on my door almost 3 minutes straight waking up both of my twins. They didn't need anything from me and instead said they wanted to confirm who I was? So unprofessional. They were here to complete a quick inspection on the outside, so there was no need for the rudeness and commotion. Please use someone else and save yourself the hassle. read more

I found about 911 when selling my rental home as it was the company used by the buyer's home warranty company. I thought they did a great job repairing the A/C unit (original unit when home was built in 2000) and at a reasonable price. Fast forward, we are purchasing another rental unit, the inspection comes back saying the A/C is not working. Our inspection period is coming to an end and I call 911 asking if there is anyway they can get out to do an inspection in the next few days. They say, we can have someone out there today! They did the full inspection at a very reasonable price. They are our new "go to" company for heating, cooling and plumbing repairs. Thanks 911! read more

AC went out about midnight. Called at 0830, had technician at house by 1030, fixed by 1230. Capacitor bad in one unit, replaced both capacitors just to be safe. Double checked rest of system just to be sure no other issues. Excellent work at fair price. Third time I used 911, highly recommended to everyone to all plumbing and HVAC needs. read more

These guys almost blew a $900k house sale due to their lack of knowledge of older homes. They were not even able to figure out if the sewer was in front or back. Luckily we rescued the sale by hiring a company that was not looking to try and get an inflated price for work that was not required. Beware. read more

Scott Epps from 911 Heating, Cooling and Plumbing is reliable, punctual, professional and easy to work with. Scott did a thorough job inspecting our sewer line, and sent us a clear and easy-to-read report and video. Afterwards, he patiently and clearly explained the findings to me. I recommend their service. read more

Best plumbing service we've received here in Mesa, AZ! Yesterday we had Scott from 911 Heating Cooling & Plumbing here. He found where our clog was right away and then snaked the pipe 100 feet. No more overflowing washing machine flooding out our pantry. We have had them here before over a year ago for a different plumbing issue and were completely happy with them and there work so we didn't hesitate to call them again. read more

Couldn't be happier with this company. Scott Elps was kind and genuine. I had a clogged main and he took care of it quickly and was very reasonable. He said if there were any problems after not to hesitate to call him to make sure the job was done right. I felt extremely comfortable with his service and trusted him to do the job. Will be my plumber from now on and again I could not be happier. It is so nice to feel you can trust a company that is genuine ,fair and decent. Good people surely make the difference in this world!! read more

I was very satisfied with the availability and response time when I had an a/c issue at my home. The technician was very friendly and completed my repair very quickly. I did not give 5 stars because I found the repair to be too expensive. My a/c needed a capacitor which was marked up around 5 times and the service call was about the same price as the part. Bottom line, a 10 minute repair cost about $20/minute. However, I feel comfortable calling them again in the future. read more

Lately I have started all my reviews the same way "Once again my fellow yelpers steered me in the right direction." Well, they did it again. I needed a plumber for a few projects in my newly purchased home. 1. Install whole house water softener. 2. Install sink in laundry room where there was none. 3. Install reverse osmosis filter under kitchen sink. 4. Fix two sinks in master bath. Howard showed up as promised to make the site visit and quote. He was very personable and easy to communicate with. He explained well the options and we discussed the best way to go. i did not feel that he pushed me to a solution I was unfamiliar with or unwilling to take. The quote came in, not as a formal document, but as a text on my phone. I might have taken off 1/2 star for this, but I decided the pluses over came this minor faux pas. At first the quote overwhelmed me until I started looking up prices for the devices he included in the quote and I then soon realized the quote was quite good and I gave to go ahead to move forward. Howard's guys (including his son) showed up on the day as promised and got all the work done. The worked a solid 8 hours and I was able to trust them with the house and a checkbook. The cleaned up their work areas, left the appropriate documents and manuals and all is good in the world. Once again, I have met a small businessman who is doing a wonderful job providing quality technical service with great customer service. Howard and his team are now a permanent part of home ownership support team. thanks for a job well done. read more

Reliable, reasonable and rational... Howard and his son Sean at Renaissance Plumbing fit this description. Howard was one of three contractors I had bid for replacement of my direct vent water heater in the home I own. His rates were the most reasonable. He always answers his phone. He is straight to the point and won't give you the runaround. His prices are good. His son came out and did the job. They pointed out in a diplomatic fashion some of the errors made in the original plumbing of the home and corrected them without an additional charge (it was an elbow that was installed backwards). I just called him for a potential wash basin in my garage and again, he was helpful. read more

I called today late morning, Howard returned my call within an hour and was able to be at my house within the next two hours. Thankfully!!! My son is having his 4th birthday this weekend and it's going to be a large gathering so we need all bathrooms in working order. I gave him background on what I thought it was. He tried to push the blockage through with his 6ft auger and no luck. With my permission he pulled the toilet up and he showed me the blockage he found. It was some sort of cylinder shaped filter that came from a shampooer I rented from frys. I remember hearing a thunk when I dumped the dirty water out from the shampooer... The toilet had never worked the same until today. Now I know something definitely fell out into the toilet. Howard removed it and went on to finish his business and replaced the wax seal etc. He was done within an hour total. Howard was efficient, honest, friendly and knowledgable. He even gave me some info that I hadn't known before. Thanks to his work, he completed the task at hand quickly and efficiently. I'm beyond happy with the service I received from Howard this afternoon and when I need help in the future I will give him a call. (I have 3 boys 4 & under, so I'll prob need his services again in the future.) The price was reasonable for what he had to do & his time. I don't feel like I was taken advantage of either. Very nice guy & a job well done. Thanks Howard!!! read more

Love these guys. They have helped me several times, twice when my AC went out, during hot weather. They responded so quickly and the unit was repaired within hours. They have also replaced my hot water heater, I did wait several days for that replacement, but understandably, I realized it was out on a Saturday. They do great work and reasonably priced, I have done the comparisons. Very personable, willing to explain and discuss options. I really trust and believe they have my best interest at heart. It's so difficult to get a company to show up when they say let along not take your savings. I used this company before to fix toilet excellent Wk great price. Sun came Hm and said let me call for a/c ck I actually got a live person on the phone at 9pm Set appointment for next day. Than after I hung up I realized my house was hot!! Come to find out a/c until wasn't working. Called back and the same person had a tech come out within an hr. REALLY?? Well it gets better... Guy shows up fixes my a/c replaced part to get a/c back running and didn't take me for a loop. I'm very pleased with this company. Their a needle in a haystack as they say. GREAT JOB GUYS AND THANK YOU FROM MY HEART!! YOUR AWESOME!!! read more

HORRIBLE communication on their end!!! I had 911 Heating, Cooling & Plumbing recommended through the inspection company I was using so I thought it would be okay. I was expected to get a sewer scope one day and found out through another source that they were to reschedule. Ummmm, were you not going to call me and tell me this? I had to call Scott to find out when he was going to come back. While on the phone with him he made it seem that I was inconveniencing him by calling. The day of the sewer scope there was no communication from him. I was expecting to hear after he had gone to the house, but AGAIN I had to be the one to call (inconveniencing him as well this time). I will definitely be using a different company in the valley should I need anything fixed as the professionalism from this encounter was 100% not there. read more

This company is totally dishonest. We are selling a home and they did a plumbing inspection saying the plumbing was shot and it not only needed all new plumbing bu wanted to replace fixtures and vanities etc...other companies thought this was a sham..this company is only after your money ..BEWARE... read more

Scott was amazing. He showed up on time wearing a mask and worked very hard to get my drain unclogged. It was quite a feat since my kitchen had been renovated several years ago and a new downspout had been added to the inner pipes which is where the clog was. Unfortunately we couldn't know that until he opened up the wall and was then able to clear the clog for me. Considering all the time and work that was involved, the bill was very reasonable. read more

HONEST & KNOWLEDGEABLE I called & Darrell came out the next day. I thought we had a slow leak. He could have easily played on my fears & charged me for work that didn't need to be done. He checked everywhere, even looked in the attic. He explained everything in detail & gave us great advise for preventing issues. I also really liked that I got text updates when scheduling. This is a great company & I will definitely be contacting them if I ever need to. read more

So one of the downsides to owning a place... you pay for anything that breaks! I had (what ended up NOT to be an emergency) for the kitchen sink. Right in the middle of cooking dinner, water starts coming out from the cabinets underneath. Great. I'm hungry and now I'm irritated... We actually called another handyman for a referral and he suggested we call these guys - specifically Howard. I wasn't too sure if I'd be able to get someone out right away, but Howard was the man and made it happen! We called him around 6pm and he showed up shortly after. He was very knowledgeable and really upfront about how much everything would cost. All around nice guy :) I'm very sure I'll be calling him if we ever need any other plumbing services... hopefully not any time soon! read more

I found Renaissance Plumbing here on Yelp and out of the companies I called, they were the fastest to respond with the best price. Howard came out and got the job done quickly and answered all my questions with a friendly attitude. The work was excellent and he even took some time to inspect some other items I was concerned with. Rather than offering to "fix" something that that I likely would have paid for, Howard was honest and let me know that everything looked okay and repairs were not necessary. Service like that brings peace of mind. I've already referred him to one friend and will certainly refer him to anyone I come across that may need his service. read more

Contacted Sean at Renaissance after doing a Yelp search for a plumber. I had a foul odor problem at my business and wanted a second opinion. Sean was able to swing by that day and take a look. We scheduled a time for him to return to do some additional diagnostics and Sean was communicative and on-time. Upon returning, he recommended to start small and replace the toilet seal and he was right, it was the source of the odor. The previous installers had used the wrong size seal. Not only did Sean replace the seal that day and fix my problem but he beat the other guy on price. No fuss, no issues, just a smooth repair, and best of all, no more odor! Sean was excellent to work with, courteous and professional. Great job! read more

GREAT! They are FAST, professional, friendly, and reliable. They show up when they say they will and do a great job! They even had to deal with the weird and backwards service company our property management uses, and they didn't skip a beat regardless. Kyle and the service manager were both amazing. And Tammy was SO nice whenever I called. She also kept me updated, which was wonderful. read more
