During a recent visit to my Winthrop friend, she brought me to 90 Degrees and now that I'm back home in California I'm still thinking about it because it was that good! I'm not a huge fan of brie but the picture on the menu looked so tempting that our table ordered it for our app and it did not dissapoint! The warmed cheese was served with the crispiest crustinis and a dried fruit sauce (?) on the side and it was excellent - delicious seasoning and there wasn't a crumb left on the plate. For my entree I ordered the half chicken and when I say it was moist - that's an understatement. Our waitress explained that the meat had been brined overnight which made the chicken super delicious and moist. The roasted brussell sprouts and creamy mashed potatoes were the perfect compliment to the roasted chicken. One of my favorite restaurant experiences in a long time! Hope to be back someday! It was rainy and cold on our visit and I understand there's outdoor seating available, yay! PS The restaurant is decorated with remarkable wood carvings etc. They are simply stunning! I don't go here frequently, but the wagyu burger is by far my favorite burger in the Winthrop area. The truffle fries are also delicious, and the beers are served ice cold in a chilled glass. I look forward to trying more items here. read more

Excellent bartender - the drinks here punch way above their weight for the price. I'd come back anytime for that! Of the dishes we got, the apps and dessert were best. I felt my gnocchi ate on the greasy side, as well as my wife's salmon. Flavor wise, everything was pretty spot on tho. If they tighten up a little bit, this would be an easy 5 star. read more

The food and I'll be out for very nice. I've dined in several times. Started doing takeout. During pandemic, they started a curbside pick up option. Their Website for take out ordering still offers curbside. On the last 3 takeout orders, over the last 6 to 9 months, when I arrived I called and they insist I come into the bar to pickup my order. read more

When it is busy at the bar and restaurant, (usual days) the owner simply does not hire sufficient help. The bartender has to serve about a 20 seat bar, plus high tops and the service bar. He is the son of the owner. I have seen smaller bars than this with two bartenders on busy days. Here he is ceaselessly busy mixing drinks, taking food orders, and serving not just the bar but sometimes even the tables. Needless to say, reasonably prompt service takes a back seat and often one would have to speak up to request a set up or close out. The other unpleasant thing is the restaurant is very loud when busy. And, though this isn't the restaurant's fault, there are a few very loud bar types where each passing drink the decibels increase. Food is good, but for me and others who don't want to have to send up a flare for service, ordering take out ahead would be the wisest option. read more

Great dinner in pleasantly quiet atmosphere. The fried calamari and caramelizad cauliflower were superb apps. The plentiful, cooked to perfection calamari had a tomato marmalade as pretty as it was tasty. The cauliflower remoulade was finger licking good. A huge pork chop was cooked to perfection-the mushroom butter a delightful addition to accompanying veggies. Loved my dish of gnocchi with pearl onion, cherry tomatoes, roasted garlic, oyster mushrooms, toasted almonds. The porcini mushroom drizzle or was it truffle? was so good. Such flavors! The other two diners had a pasta special that was generous and delicious. Good value and great service too. We'll be back. read more

Went again last night. Food, drinks, and service were excellent, yet again. We sat at the bar, which got decently busy over the course of the dinner rush. My friend got the half roasted chicken (came with mushrooms, brussels sprouts, whipped potatoes). It was excellent. Perfectly cooked and crispy, with a healthy coating of herbs on the outside. It also had a savory brown gravy that was a bit on the salty side for me (my friend loved it), but it wasn't too much and had great flavor. I got the fish of the day, herb + breadcrumb roasted cod over seasonal vegetables over a butternut squash puree. It was so much food, but I ate it all because it was so good. This is hands-down the best quality restaurant in Winthrop. The decor is very dated inside (a little weird considering it was remodeled just a few years ago) but that is really the only detractor. read more

The food was excellent. We tried the pig ears and duck rolls as an appetizers which everyone tried with different opinions. The catch of the day was cooked to perfection. Half a chicken was excellent and the gnocchi was good. The bread pudding, as a dessert was also excellent. The only complaint was the rate of service. I love that I found this place by accident and since then have been too many times to count! haha The food here never disappoints! The only disappointing thing about the food is the specials, because they aren't offered all the time! The first time I ever went I ordered the scallops, which were a special and let me tell you, they were the absolute best tasting scollops I ever had! Every time I go I hope they will be on the menu haha But I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the food here! They use to have brunch on the weeknd's, but apparently they aren't offering it anymore, which is sad because the food was delicious! I hope this is just covid related and it will be back, because I have been craving the waffles like a pregnant lady! haha I bring everyone I know to this place and they always love it! They have opened an area for outdoor seating and I really hope they keep it going next year, because they did an amazing job with it! Dear god run. I like fun, loud, exciting places. I also like quiet places. This place was insane. It had 24 people in the building and the restaurant has absolutely nothing to deflect sound waves so it FEELS like there's well over a hundred inside. Muggy, gross, but cute and yummy. My ears haven't felt like this since going to an awful battle of the bands event as a teenager. No plants, fixtures, walls... nothing to defend your ears against the piercing sound waves. It was cute, the food was good, but holy jeebsus my boyfriend jokes that the building is evil because that's some seriously uncomfortable stuff. Service was great, but I told the server that their food should come with ear plugs for safety. Even the yard house or a Beyoncé concert doesn't bother these drums. Yikes ‍ like I said... We come here at least once a month, the staff is always friendly and remembers you. The food is delicious! The roasted chicken is my favorite so juicy! I used to live in Winthrop and currently live in California. I went home to visit friends and family and decided I would try this new restaurant. I was completely blown away by how amazing the food was not to mention the hospitality and the service We ordered the duck and normally duck is buried in cranberry or an orange sauce and this was cooked perfectly on mashed sweet potatoes and crispy bok choy The chef added duck skin crackling which really put it over the top as flavors blended in an exquisite dance! I highly recommend 90°. Paul was so knowledgeable about the menu and spent time sharing how proud they are sourcing the perfect ingredients. management and staff was brilliant and I can't wait to go back. Went in there ones and it made lasting poor impression on me. We ordered drinks, apps, and dinner. Apps came we ate them. Food came we ate it. Then finally our drinks came out. The reason they came out because we were leaving and asked to take drinks off our tab. The waitress keep coming over assuring us that drinks on way but they came a 45 minutes into our dinner.
