Went to Line Steak & Brew last night for dinner. My hunny and I both had a cup of the seafood gumbo, and I have to give credit where credit is due: it was absolutely outstanding! My hunny and I shared the baked clams (different from what stuffed quahogs are), and while they were good, I probably wouldn't order them again. My hunny had the meatballs with whipped ricotta and garlic bread and it was absolutely delicious (and I'm not even the biggest fan of meatballs to start with). I had a Cesar salad with steak tips. The salad was nice & fresh, and the steak tips had amazing flavor & were cooked perfectly. I do have to say that they were quite tough, however. I did mention it to the new owner who happens to be a friend of mine. I know he cares about the quality of food he's serving to his customers, so I thought I should mention it to him. He's still trying to get his bearings with his meat vendors, so I'm glad I brought it up to him. The Line is a small neighborhood joint with friendly patrons, dart boards, several flat screens for viewing our AWESOME Boston sports teams, a Touch Tunes jukebox, and Keno. I like it there for sure, and I love supporting a friend!

Hey Murray you're OK in my book. When a waitress friend shares a great place to dine you listen and…read moreFRANK did just that for a solid rock star dining experience. Came in around 8:30 and grabbed a nice outdoor seat. Super nice young lady started our journey with taking or beverage then appetizer order. Ordering the chicken parm egg roll I was amazed by the robust flavor inside but the outer wrapping was superb. Now this is a quality egg roll and HUGE and you were issued two of these monster rolls cut in half for a total of four man sized shareable delights.. Check the photos they don't lie they were amazing. Ok now onto main fixings so I ordered the steak tips accompanied by salad and French fries.. Note these are the hottest fries I've ever had and maintained a lava like heat through my meal. Not sure if it was just high quality fries or a design flaw but they were crunchy and flavorful but the heat kept me from eating them all... So I moved onto my steak tips. In Boston when dining forget steak and move to Steak Tips cause they rule. Soft and chewy mini mounds of flesh is a New England speciality and I partake immediately into masticating these flavor bombs till the last bite. Murray's tips were a tad different than I was accustomed to cause these were marinated in a bbq sauce. Now it caught me off guard yet by the end I was a gigantic fan of this new tip sensation to my tastes buds were pleased along with my belly.. As you can see Frank was a happy camper. But one more item for a review and that was my guests meal which was a filet mignon smothered in chimichurri sauce blowing up that steak with even more layers of savor to enjoy. And hats off to chef for cooking it to a perfect medium with an outer crust but nice juicy pink inside... Ok well that's it for Franks experience at Murray's Tavern. Amazing food & dining experience and will come back again! Auf wiedersehen !

They have rotating specials all the time, but their regular menu is so good that I just can't move away. Their smash burger is fantastic, but their salads are nice and hefty, so even if you're trying to eat light, you leave full and satisfied. Caesar salads are simple and standard everywhere, but I'm always happy with the one I get from Murray's - well dressed with a yummy cheese crisp on top. Their wings are delicious, always come out piping hot, and have a creative array of sauces. The variety of fries are impressive too and all of them are delicious (though, when are fries really not delicious?!) My favorite thing about Murray's is the front outdoor seating area. When the weather is a bit cooler, they'll turn on the gas heaters, so you can have a comfortable meal and still enjoy some fresh air. But what makes it truly my favorite is that it's dog friendly! It's always so tough to find spots that allow dogs, but Murray's staff is always so kind to us when we bring our dog with us for dinner, and they'll even bring out a bowl of water for him. Good service comes from the top, and we've met John, who is incredibly nice and friendly. Conversations with him are consistently pleasant and we love that he's always open to sharing what he knows about food and drink! The staff also provides kind, speedy service, which we definitely appreciate. The only negative about Murray's is the fact that we only found them a year ago and hate that we didn't find out about them sooner!

There is literally fun everywhere you look from the panda stuffed animal riding a tiger on the wall to the hilarious shrek pillow. Coming right when they open I was able to see these things that you would likely not see in the evening. But to be fair I came right when they opened since it is first come first serve. A majority of the drinks were more on the savory side which was very interesting like "may all your bacon burn" with bacon bites at the top of the drink. The drinks my friend had were all stunning with the use of egg yolk to elevate the drink. We ended the evening by walking over to Bow Market and trying Viet Citron which was so DANG GOOD my gosh. The to go orders were insane but looks like they are doing very well despite recently opening in. I got the grilled lemongrass pork ribs bowl and youtiao and the side sauce was so good. The ribs were all very meaty. It looks small but I was surprised how full I was after having it. Nice night of drinks and food. The staff is top tier friendly and ridiculously attentive, and the whole place just has this vibe where it genuinely feels like family, both the staff and the patrons make you feel at home in a way I've honestly never experienced at any other bar. And it's not just a bar either, on the other side you've got "Franny's," set up like a classic diner with black and white checkerboard floors and those small barstools right by the grill where you can sit and watch them cook breakfast. I've probably worked my way through just about the entire menu, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and I've never once been disappointed, whether it's pizza, calzones, steak tips, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, homemade soups, or their rotating specials, everything is consistently excellent. The drinks are just as good, they'll make basically anything you ask for without hesitation. They've also got karaoke every Saturday night, Trivia on Thursday nights, TouchTunes for music, darts, multiple TVs for watching sports, Keno, and an ATM, which to me checks all the boxes for a local bar. Between the staff, the camaraderie, the quality of the food, and the drinks, you really can't go wrong, and now they've added an incredible dessert menu that I haven't been able to stay away from either. From the second I walked in, I knew this place was different, and it really is that good.

The nightclub is no longer Rain but now Mixx 360. And now there is a sports bar in between. As the name suggests, it is sort of an upscale sports bar, but still accessible to the general public in terms of price. This place may not have the widest selection in terms of food and beer, but it does have one of the best in terms of quality of selection. It is good with the seasonal beer. Sams Octoberfest on tap, plenty of Shipyard Pumpkinhead bottles. Also they have the mainstays like Bud and Bud light. But even better than that, they have Yuengling, Blue Moon, Wachusett Blueberry, and Strong Bow cider, amongst other beers. For food, I ordered the boneless buffalo wings and the lobster rangoons. You can't find lobster rangoons at most other places and this appetizer makes the place special. The buffalo wings were very big. Besides pizza and burgers, I noticed they have philly cheesesteak rolls. That is an item I will try next time and I thought that was a smart option to put on the menu since it is hard to find good cheesesteak nowadays. For a sams Octoberfest on tap, Shipyard bottle, buffalo tender and lobster rangoons, my total came to about 27 dollars. I have to say that in its entirety I enjoyed my meal very much. The atmosphere is great. It is not your average sports bar. You can tell they put a decent amount of money into it. It is not huge, but the actual bar seats about 30 people, which competes with most other sports bars in the 5 mile area. The service is good and I will be back. It is a great place to watch the Patriots unfurl another banner or to watch Big Papi hit his 500th homerun.
