9 Feet Under is exactly what a speakeasy should be. From the outside, the building is completely unassuming, almost easy to miss. But that's part of the charm. Once you step inside, you're transported back to the Prohibition era with a moody atmosphere, intimate setting, and all the character you'd hope to find in a true speakeasy experience. The cocktails are unquestionably the star of the show. Thoughtfully crafted, well-balanced, and presented with attention to detail, each drink feels like part of the experience rather than just something to sip on. Add in a live DJ, great music, and an energetic crowd, and the result is a place with incredible vibes from start to finish. Whether you're looking for a unique date night, a nightcap, or a spot to impress friends from out of town, 9 Feet Under delivers. Joe, at the door, was very welcoming. Fabricio, the mixologist, was a true craftsman. We'll definitely be back.

This place is so cool because when you walk in, you have to walk down the stairs 9 feed underground. It gives prohibition era and feels so scandalous as you're entering. We made a reservation prior to coming because in order to make it inside you need to book a reservation. The establishment is small which is why you have to reserve. We came at around 10:45 and our reservation was for 11:00. They sat us down right away. The vibes are chill and cool, there's a dj playing music. It was like house, tech vibes. The music was great and people were enjoying their time. We had 1 cocktail each and went on our way because we just came to check out the spot honestly. I had the fabulous martini which has a purple hue to it, it was very refreshing. I love that they garnish it with a lavender. The espresso martini was made with Don Julio Reposado, and had real fresh espresso as per the menu. It was good but a bit strong too! We had asked for an extra shot of espresso on the side just as a pick me up. But our server told us that it comes cold, which is odd because the menu literally says freshly brewed espresso in the cocktail description. It was fine though, we still enjoyed the drinks. Overall, our experience was nice! If you are ever in the Hialeah area, you should totally check this spot out. They also have bites you can order but we were full from dinner and didn't get a chance to try anything. Definitely have to come back to try some more cocktails and grab some bites!

While the outside of this business would keep some people away. The minute you enter through the front door and go down the stairs you're in a totally different place. Arthur, the manager that escorted us inside was very nice courteous and attentive. We got really fortunate and had Valentina take care of us this evening. She is an amazing young lady and provided fantastic service. The bartender makes phenomenal libations, right on point and delicious. The place has a great vibe and we are definitely going to be coming back and spreading the word. Cheers to all who visit Nine Feet Under.

Cheers!

Loved this hidden gem! Great music, small crowd and very nice service for the moment you come in. We really enjoyed the delicious drinks and we were happy that they have some appetizers and they were also very good. One of my favorite things was the environment and decor of the whole place, the speakeasy vibe was perfection!

This has become my new favorite spot!!! I've only been on TBT night but will definitely try all their weekly events. The drinks are delicious, the bites are great, and the pricing is surprisingly affordable. The vibes and the music are amazing!!

When my cousin booked a party at 9 Feet Under, a speakeasy in Hialeah, I knew I was in for a good time. Upon arrival after going down a flight of stairs, my cousin explained to me the name comes from the fact that it is located 9 Feet under the Strip Club upstairs. I love a unique venue, so I was already thrilled the moment I walked in. The bar is swanky, with bar seating, lounge seating, and some two-top cocktail tables with chairs that make it perfect for date night, a night out, or a group celebration. Around 9:30 the DJ starts, and he was incredible. As for drinks, they have plenty of specialty cocktails but I opted for a Dirty Martini. I also tried a Lychee martini. Both were solid. My cousin and his party opted to get bottle service and we enjoyed tequila and whiskey. Since we were a group of about 10, we had a server. She was friendly and attentive. While I didn't eat, the group did order food. From what I saw its an array of the perfect bar snacks like french fries, empanadas, tequenos, and chicken nuggets. I don't think this is a place that you come to for the food, but its nice to have some bar bite options while you're enjoying cocktails. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely go back.

Incredible ambiance, typical Miami scene. Was shooting for a more eclectic scene with a good mix of music but it's the typical Miami scene. It's a shame but the place itself is beautiful. Comfortable seating and pleasant customer service. The price points are HIGH for this market area. Favoring the Barbie type, Miami wanna be. Otherwise, come here and mar the most of it.

Ambiance- speakeasy taking you back to the 1920s. Dark, intimate, jazzy. Love it Drinks- made beautifully, perfectly balanced, and delicious. So many to pick from. Happy hour is daily 5-8PM and it's so worth it because you get drinks HALF off. Service- QUICK, animated, friendly. Coming back :)

This speakeasy transports you to a different era as it is decorated amazingly in a vintage style. The service Luisa provided was just incredible and Alexis made the most amazing drinks tailored to your personal taste profile. A true mixology artist! A must to visit!

Went here to hang with some friends after some time not seeing each other. I dont know why other reviews dont mention this but the place is attached to a gentlemens club. Mind you, its separate but connected in a way - I'll get to that later. The lot is shared with the club but it has its own entrance. The entrance is a door with a bell/camera and the symbol for the place that looks very illuminati like. You ring the bell and get an automated message saying someone will come out. A bouncer will come out, check your ids and pat you down before showing you the way to the place. We were seated at the bar and they kept a seat aside since our 4th was late. I usually dont like bar seating but the bartender (i absolutely forgot his name so im sorry but he's the one with the beard and long ponytail hair) made me not hate the choice. He was super friendly but not invasive with our group. If more bartenders were like him, I wouldn't hate bar sitting as much. I had two drinks, a beer, and the group shared apps. The drinks I had were the call of the east margarita and snow bird. The margarita was good but as im mainly a beer drinker, it was strong for me. But no worries the snow bird was absolutely delicious! It also comes with a great presentation with a little feather to it. After that I stuck to beer and we had shared apps. The yuca has cheese in it which is amazingly deliciois but should be mentioned in the menu for those who are lactose intolerant. One complaint I have and I dont know its the same in the men's, but in the women's backthroom the door to the stall is pull not push. So when I pushed it, I assumed someone was in there since it felt locked. I waited a bit but decided to call out then tried pulling. I felt stupid but I never knew a stall that opens as a pull like that as it has no handle. You have to pull from the top of the door. Its weird. Overall the experience was great. After we paid our bill, the bartender escorts you out but before then he asked if we wanted to go to th3 gentleman's club. I'm assuming there's a way to get into from the speakeasy. Just mentioning for the girls whose guys say they're going to 9 feet under but dont know what lurks beyond.

My wife and I appreciated the vibe of the speakeasy.

This smooth speakeasy has a great vibe. The bouncer takes you down the stairs and you're transported. The mafia meets Miami energy is prevalent throughout the space. The bartenders were super friendly. But, the main draw of this establishment is the cocktails. These were easily some of the best we've ever had. I may come back to Miami just to drink here.

5 stars just for the fact that my table was by the painting of legendary Miami pharmaceutical entrepreneur Antonio Montana! As soon as I heard abut the opening of 9 Feet Under, at the same location of Bella's Cabaret and another legendary "if you know, you know" Miami gentleman's club, I knew I had to check out. The word of mouth of a few friends who live in the area also confirmed it! When my friend and I arrived, after contacting them online (make sure to get reservations) we were escorted downstairs to a basement den of great mixology. I enjoyed both the "Havana Sunset" ( guava and rum) as well as the Black Gold (espresso & tequila martini, but with tequila and garnished with coffee beans). This last one was my favorite! The soundtrack when we went is Golden Age (mid 2000/s) hip hop. Foodwise, the menu is a Latin twist on classic sports bar vittles. Besides very meaty chicken wings, I loved the pleasantly aromatic truffle fries and the yuca fries. Their sampler platter is definitely the way to go. Both the manager and waitress were very welcoming and friendly. They also mentioned some event nights coming up, including a karaoke night. I'm thinking I can do a great rendition of "Push it to the Limit".

Excellent experience at 9 Feet Under Bar. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with warm lighting and a perfect atmosphere both to talk and to enjoy the night without excessive noise. The music is at a very good level: it is enjoyed without interfering with the conversation, something that is really appreciated. The drinks stand out for their good balance and presentation, well prepared and with that right "touch" that makes the difference. As for the food, the wings were one of my favorites: well seasoned, on point and with excellent flavor. The croquettes were also very well made, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. In general, everything was at a very good level: service, atmosphere, drinks and food. An ideal place to have a good time, relax and enjoy with good company. Definitely, a place you want to go back to.

From the moment we checked in and until we left, everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. The place is huge, with quiet places, places to sit and eat, and other places to relax. We got here after having lunch. But that didn't stop us from sampling some of the entrees and desserts. We noticed that the food is varied with something for everyone - vegetarian, vegan, meat eater, or picky eater. We tried the chicken and rice. It was so good. Our eyes sampled the rest of the entrees, wishing we had room in our bellies to eat more. Of course there is ALWAYS room for ice cream. That was heavenly. Husband had his salted caramel in a cone and I had mine in a bowl with Bailey's. Thanks, Karen for the recommendation! And thank you, Romano, for excellent service with a dazzling smile at the ice cream bar! There is something to drink for everyone's taste. They have two stations with coffee and tea, as well as water, ice tea and snacks. The bar has a wide variety of liquor and liqueurs. A cooler has sodas, sparkling water, cider and beers. Two soda machines are ready for you to use for Coke products. If you want to read, use the QR code on their business card to access publications. If you like to read print publications, they have three to choose from in a magazine rack, near the front entrance. Of course they have bathrooms for men and women, clean and well stocked. And they also have showers. We used the former, but not the latter. If you are flying American, and have access to the Flagship Lounge, you will be thrilled with all it has to offer.

We had to clear a table to have access to it. Everything, except the bar, is self serve. The hot items were good. A toaster is available to toast English muffin and bagels. They have a great coffee machine for self serve lattes and the like. It's a good spot for a long layover. But there is room for improvement.

It's hard to summarize all the amazing aspects of this venue. The grounds and Mansion are gorgeous and transport you away from the hectic hustle and bustle of Miami. It is truly a special place with rich history.  The mansion has multiple beautiful locations, for ceremonies, receptions, and photographs. We had our ceremony in the grove at sunset, and it looked absolutely magical with the bistro lights hung in the trees. Our reception was in the courtyard, which is gorgeous in its own right, and with it fully decorated it felt more like we were in the Mediterranean compared to Miami.  The Mansion crew is amazing!! Sherry and Javi are the BEST!!! We had the wedding of our dreams, which would not have been the same with out this location or Sherry and Javi's help. The pair were so easy to work with, maintained flexible schedules for visits to show off our venue to visiting family and friends, and exuded with passion for the Mansion. The crew so clearly cares deeply about the mansion and its history, you can't help but fall in love with it as well right alongside them. They wanted to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams and worked hard to make sure all the details were in place to make it happen. We always felt like a priority to them and were treated with utmost respect. As a same-love couple, it's not always easy to feel comfortable searching for wedding venues. Sherry and the Mansion crew's support meant the world to us and made us feel safe and celebrated. The closed vendor list at the Mansion was very helpful in making sure we found high-quality vendors for our wedding. It saved us a lot of time searching and vetting. This place is truly a hidden gem. We recommend this venue without reservation to anyone looking for a magical, historic setting for their wedding or special event.

I originally planned to have my wedding at the Curtis Mansion, but after experiencing multiple…read morelosses in my family, my husband and I decided to elope. The venue meant so much to me that I still wanted to incorporate it into our wedding photographs and preserve a piece of the dream I had originally envisioned. Unfortunately, I left in tears, feeling humiliated and disrespected by an employee named Debbie. I had communicated with Debbie beforehand through phone calls and messages about our elopement, our outfit changes, and the vehicle we planned to use for photographs. Yet, from the moment we arrived, after knocking for approximately 10 minutes, I was met with attitude, eye rolls, and judgment. She questioned why I wasn't ready, despite our previous conversations about changing at the venue. I was standing there with my wedding bouquet, and she even asked whether I was getting married, despite my having explained our plans multiple times beforehand. As a client, I expected the person handling our booking to be familiar with the arrangements we had discussed. I shared something deeply personal with her about losing both my parents and my beloved dog, who I had imagined walking me down the aisle at this very venue. Her dismissive reactions made me feel as though my grief and the significance of the day were an inconvenience. When my photographer asked whether she could hang my wedding dress for flat-lay photographs, Debbie appeared annoyed. Although she eventually permitted it, she then physically removed my dress and placed it on a table. Even these small details became stressful when they should have been part of a beautiful experience. Things escalated when our rental car arrived earlier than scheduled, without my knowledge. Despite having discussed the vehicle beforehand, Debbie called me a liar multiple times in front of my husband and photographer. When I do have documentation that I did tell her there was a car going to be present. I spent nearly an hour of our reserved photography time trying to resolve the situation. And every time I would leave, Debbie would complain about me to my Photographer making my Photographer extremely uncomfortable. We were also locked outside and left knocking for approximately 15 minutes before our photographer had to find another entrance to let us back in. From outside, I could see Debbie on her phone, knowing we were knocking and ringing doorbell. Throughout the session, she would be unavailable when we needed assistance but would reappear to confront me. For a 4 hour shoot included Mansion staff, which I'm assuming that was her , it was CLEAR that she didn't wanna be there. Throughout the experience, I felt as though we were walking on eggshells. With the last hour of my shoot I was in my wedding dress Debbie again yelled me again and pointed her finger at me and kept bringing up the car situation when it was resolved an hour before. I had to ask her if she can yell at me after photographs because I didn't want to lose any more of our limited time. She responded that I was "wasting her time!!" I work in the bridal industry, where I understand how important it is to make couples feel welcomed and supported during such meaningful moments. I would never want another bride to experience the humiliation and distress I experienced that day. She didn't even see us out when we left. I tried to reach out to the original people that I spoke to when I was going to book my wedding at the venue and had a good experience with but it was a very disappointing response! The mansion itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, the way I was treated overshadowed what should have been a special memory for my husband and me. NO BRIDE should leave her wedding photo shoot in tears because of how she was treated. These photographs were meant to preserve a beautiful chapter of our love story, and it breaks my heart that this experience will always be part of that memory.

This restaurant and lounge is located inside the Embassy Suites by the Miami Airport. I am going to go out on a limb and say this is one of the greatest restaurants/lounge in the area.. The food is fresh and well seasoned and brought out nice and hot! The waiter, his name is Javier and his customer service was stellar. My wife ordered a chicken quesadilla, I ordered a turkey club, he returned and said they were out of turkey and other cold cuts so he asked me if I wanted anything else to substitute for.. I asked him about the angus burger. Let's just say he made to right by adding a few things to my order. I will say the burger was great, it also came with a side of fries... The atmosphere was nice and relaxing.. it almost felt like I was at home enjoying a home cooked meal... I would definitely recommend you try them out if you're ever in the Miami- Dade County area... I will say that I decided to leave off one star because we were not advised about the automatic 15% gratuity that will be taken out without notice until you get your bill... Came into Miami for business and we've had a hard time finding our, home hotel, when we're in town…read moreand we thought we'd try the EB. Has a distinctly European style to it, but I'll tell you we booked through Expedia and I've got a suite room that had a separate setting area with a desk with two sliding doors king size bed with a decent TV. I will say that the additional sound bar is weird because it doesn't sync up with the TV so you get a little bit of a lag or an echo and the TV doesn't turn up by itself nor does the TV mute and allow you to play the sound bar separately so there's a little bit of a disparity. Also, we had trouble with our air-conditioning, but once I pointed it out within an hour, the maintenance man had fixed the air-conditioning for the whole fourth floor because I was in a room about 15 rooms away from my coworker and both of us had a hard time sleeping last night because the lowest temperature we could get the room was 73 which doesn't sound bad but if you're trying to sleep you need to be in the high 60s. Another weird thing is they don't have a refrigerator in the room, but they have a refrigerator on our bar and so I had to get creative with putting my water and stuff in there to get a cold. I'd rather just have a fridge. But the big one is the shower shower is just amazing. It has as many showerheads as you could ask for I think two on the ceiling for coming out of the wall plus the one that is mounted to a hose. My room also had a bidet, but I didn't give that a shot but definitely would stay here again. We sat at the bar one night and had probably some of the best bar service we ever had a restaurant was pretty decent. Did a separate review for Miranda Mediterranean. The last thing I would say is the mechanism that holds the toilet paper roll in my room was installed upside down so anytime you want to use the toilet paper. It would slide off and go onto the floor so it was installed upside down so some weird stuff but definitely the room itself was cool.

I've enjoyed the privileges of membership, which mostly is the exceptional level of service provided. The MIA D30 Admirals Club seems to have some nice people working there as well, especially Alexandra at the Check In desk. Unfortunately for Alexandra and her colleagues, the place is run by the miserable Catarena (she refused to provide her last name or any other identifying information and stated "just tell them Catarena in M-I-A Admirals Club"). We were connecting on a flight home via MIA and had some family with us. We went to the club at D15 and hung out there for about 30 minutes. We chose to move over to the D30 club, as our gates were much closer to that lounge. We arrived and my wife did not have her AAdvantage credit card with her. I showed the check in counter at D15 her card on the Citi app and they said it's no problem. We went over to D30 expecting a similar experience...but the polar opposite. Alexandra let me know she needed the Supervisor to make an exception. She didn't think it would be a problem, especially since the D15 club just let us in. Catarena came over with a negative attitude right from the start. It was apparent that she is one of the people who hates doing her job. I explained the situation to her and about how we had just come from the lounge at D15. She said she'd call them to "check" (as if I was lying). She said they don't remember letting us in, and said they let someone in with five kids and no one else so she could do the same. I explained we do not have five kids in the group. I also asked for the name of the person she spoke with. "You have my name, right? YOU asked for MY name, right? That's enough." I asked Catarena if she was going to help us. She refused to answer the question and kept going round and round with no answer and the stupid smirk on her face...you know it...the one terrible people in Customer Service use when they've "won" by upsetting a loyal, repeat patron. Catarena NoLastName finally set me off with her stupid smirk and disingenuous "have a nice day" in the most annoying and condescending voice. I gave her some choice words, wished her a terrible rest of her miserable life, and walked out with my family. Note: this club is the anomaly...it's horrible because they have a worthless Supervisor (Catarena NoLastName) working there...most Admirals Clubs are absolutely phenomenal!
