Living room area with a desk, a lot of shelving, mini bar and coffee maker

This hotel is a hidden gem in a more industrial part of Miami, just 5 minutes from the airport. They offer a super easy to use shuttle service 24/7, with friendly and professional shuttle drivers. The check-in process was super quick and smooth, which I especially appreciated after a long day of travel and arrival after 2:30 am. I'm a bit of an anxious when staying in a hotel alone (I've watched too many dateline episodes ), but was quickly put at ease with the safety measures, including a required keycard before using the elevator. Unbeknownst to me until I opened the door, I received a free upgrade to the deluxe room, it was incredible!! The room looked like a 1 bedroom apartment, with a huge bath area, large bedroom, large living room/ office space, and large windows. The bed was comfortable and adjustable to a preferred firmness. The bedding was soft and plush. There were many different lights and settings, allowing individual preferences. The shower had two rainfall shower heads, a handheld shower, and 4 adjustable jets aims at the back. The toilet room had a toilet and separate bidet, a rarity in the States! Everything was very clean, well maintained, and well stocked. The customer service was top notch. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional and attentive. They kindly allowed a later checkout at 1 pm, and offered me use of the pool after I checked out and was waiting to meet a friend. I didn't use the pool, but checked it out-- it was clean and had a lot of lounge chairs. The two people swimming said the water was perfect. The only potential downside to this hotel is the proximity to outside food and other activities (there is a restaurant and bar onsite). A rental car or uber/lyft/taxi is definitely needed to get to other places. I was so comfortable (and tired), I opted to stay in and order from a local restaurant (Carrot Express was delicious!). Just a heads up if you order delivery-- the delivery person will not be allowed to go upstairs as that is a protected area for guests. The front desk happily received the delivery and made it accessible for me to pick up. I would absolutely stay here again. 10/10

Outstanding! I walked into the lobby and was instantly impressed!! I felt like I was in a different country! This isn't the typical airport hotel! This is luxury at a reasonable cost. Not only is the hotel beautiful, the customer service was exceptional. And on top of that, the hotel restaurant was amazing. I enjoyed my stay so much I didn't want to leave! Ha! To use the free shuttle, you don't have to call when you land. Grab your luggage and go upstairs on the second floor to wait.

Very nice, attractive, and clean room.

This is a charming hotel just a couple of miles from the Miami airport. It's very modern and our room was clean and very nice. We could see the airport runway from our room but couldn't hear the planes whatsoever. I heard and felt a rumble once but the windows must be triple-paned because I slept like a baby. There was plenty of parking outside. I really enjoyed our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to return. If you want or need a hotel near the airport, this is an excellent spot.

EB Hotel is a luxurious hotel that's conveniently located close to Miami Airport. If you're needing a place to stay because of a layover, a one-night stay, or longer this is a great choice. It was perfect for our one-night stay before our trip to Dubai. Our room was spacious, bright, and inviting. I was very pleased with the view of the airport where we could see planes landing and taking off (we were on the top floor), and how clear the air felt in the room. It was a hot afternoon when we checked in so you can understand how good air-conditioning/circulation can make a difference. The amenities are top-notch - from the comfortable bed, sheets, and pillowcases, to the comfortable couch and chaise longue, to the spacious desk that allowed my husband to get some work done, and the impressive shower with the multiple shower heads plus glass wall-looking straight through to the bedroom - everything felt classy and well thought out. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They truly gave us a five-star experience. For those looking for a luxury stay in Miami that's conveniently located near the Miami Airport, EB Hotel is definitely a great choice.

The rooms are gorgeous. Their showers are amazing with ceiling and wall shower heads. Hotel service was good. we were only here for one night, so I can't comment on the amenities. I DO NOT recommend the breakfast buffet, definitely pass on that.

Don't judge a book by its cover. The airport shuttle van and outside view of the hotel looks pretty basic, but wowie once you step into the hotel you are taken to a different place that was unexpected. It is a diamond hotel, and definitely reflects that in the hotel stay. CUSTOMER SERVICE I've called and spoken with front desk staff for different reasons prior to the stay and I will say they could use some re-training. Their phone hospitality/professionalism was like I was talking to someone who works at a Budget Inn. They didn't have direct answers to questions, and didn't seem interested in assisting me based on their tone of voice. I was reluctant of staying here based on these interactions, but the family reunion I was in Miami for all were staying here. AIRPORT SHUTTLE As the hotel website says, you can schedule in advance or just call their number once you arrive and let them know you're ready for pick up. It's complimentary and once you walk outside from the arrivals you walk to the shuttle pick up area which is clearly identifiable. LOCATION The hotel is literally across the street from the Miami airport. There is also a Wells Fargo ATM next door. Along the street are a couple small restaurants, gas station, which you can walk to, but because they're spread out I rather drive to. ROOM The room is luxurious with marble floors, beautiful bathroom area with a bidet toilet, the shower is large with a seat and has multiple shower heads including the one above your head, a couple pointing at you posted on the wall, and you have control over which shower head you want to use. The furniture has light fixtures that are movement activated so in the middle of the night if you need to use the toilet, it lights up. I appreciate this detail. The bed has a remote which you can adjust the back settings to sit up like a hospital bed. Bed and pillows were comfy. A/C worked fine for us but my family had rooms where the A/C didn't work. Wowie. Beware of the mini frig and coffee/snacks on top! All items inside the frig and on top are weight sensitive and will charge you upon picking up items. If you do this without knowing (like I did as the front desk staff upon check in did not communicate this), you can let the front desk staff know up on check out. Overall the room was great during our stay.

That way we could go find something to do for a while. Fortunately, I called the front desk and they were happy to let me check in right away as long as I didn't mind changing room types. After not having slept yet, this was a resounding YES! I confirmed the shuttle information and headed over to the pickup area with my bags. This was the only issue I had considering the hotel knew I was coming, nobody shared that with the shuttle driver that I was waiting for a ride. The shuttle driver drove straight past us the first time and we had to wait another 1/2 hour for him to circle back. I wish I remembered the name of the older lady at the front desk because she was so nice and accommodating. She checked us into our room super early and then even suggested we have breakfast before we head upstairs since we had been traveling. I can tell you I've never been so early to a hotel that I ate breakfast on the way in, but we were happy to grab a bite before finally getting some rest. We then slept for most of the day and got up to go out to dinner. The next morning we checked out and sat in the lobby with our bags (like plenty of other cruise goers) and waited until it was a better time to head to the port. From the lobby I was able to Doordash some lunch and get a bottle of Tylenol delivered to us before heading out. The same woman that checked us in made sure that we had everything we needed and even gave us good advice about not overpaying for Ubers based on busy traffic times. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the breakfast was ok. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel was fine once we were finally able to get in touch with the front desk to ask about its location. When we called, the woman at the front desk put us on hold for a long time. We eventually had to hang up and call again. It took multiple attempts before she finally answered and provided the pickup location. We were disappointed with the free shuttle service to the Miami cruise port. I called the night before our arrival to reserve a spot, but was told to book it at check-in. When we arrived at the hotel around 1:00 p.m., we were informed that the 11:00 a.m. shuttle was already full, so we were booked on the 12:30 p.m. shuttle instead. We were instructed to be in the lobby at least 15 minutes early. We arrived in the lobby around 12:00 p.m., where a crowd had already gathered. By 12:30 p.m., there was still no sign of the shuttle. Instead, a representative arrived to check guests in for the shuttle and began promoting transportation from the cruise port to the airport for $15 per person. When we said we weren't interested and asked about the shuttle, he simply replied that it was on its way. By 12:45 p.m., the shuttle still hadn't arrived. At that point, we decided to take an Uber to the port. When I tried to inform the representative that we were leaving, he ignored me and continued trying to sell tickets. Had we known the 12:30 p.m. shuttle wouldn't leave on time, we would have taken an Uber at 11:00 a.m. instead. When a hotel advertises a free shuttle service at a specific time, it should be reliable. Guests should not be pressured into purchasing additional services during that time. The description for the hotel said it was 15 minutes to the cruise port but the day of the cruise it took us over an hour to get to the ship with traffic even though it was less than 10 miles away. Look somewhere else than this hotel if taking a cruise or doing anything for that matter. Waking into the hotel it was crowed in the check-in area and it took longer than average to check-in even with the line counter girl helping us before a portion of the group ahead of us. We were given our room and brought up our luggage. The room appeared clean but it had the foul odor of cheap deoderizing covering that seemed to be covering up a bad existing oder. The place just smelled inexpensive. My family went to the buffet the next morning and brought me my breakfast back to the room. I agreed with their assessment that it was the worst free breakfast we had ever had during a hotel stay. They had Waffles but no toppings for it. The eggs tasted like cardboard and everything else was worse. Miami was and is always a great place but sadly every thing about this hotel is not even good. Go somewhere else.
