Over 1.5hr wait to get in today. It's a nice lounge but usually super busy and today not really accessible. Food and drink options are pretty good. Service works hard to clean the place. Not too many bathrooms. Seating can be tough to get.

There should be a disclaimer for all American Express card users when they come to Miami... "Better join the Waitlist". I don't think I've ever been to this airport without seeing the same signage telling you to check in digitally for the waitlist. Today we ventured over from Terminal G to Terminal D, which was a hike, and I actually joined the waitlist when we initially left. It took about 40 minutes before I actually received my QR code for access, but at that point I decided to return back to our initial Airport gate. On my previous trip, I came and I'm not gonna lie. It was a hot mess. The level of traffic that goes in and out of there, the cleaning crew can barely keep the areas clean. All the chairs still have stuff on them so you feel like you gotta self-service cleanup. The offerings aren't great, and I pretty much left in disgust. The card carries a lot of privileges, BUT here at Miami International Airport, it's just not worth it. If you have a layover here for anything less than 4 hours, don't make the effort...Unless you need a shower, got no money, and have nothing better to do... Sorry, that's how you left me feeling AMEX!!!

American Express Centurion Lounge - Miami (Gate D12) Located near Gate D12, this lounge is beautiful -- modern, spacious, and definitely one of the nicer Centurion Lounges I've been to. The seating along the huge windows is a highlight. Sitting there watching nonstop American Airlines activity on the runway is oddly relaxing and a great way to kill time before a flight. The lounge itself is large, with two bars and two food buffet stations, so there's plenty of room to sit, eat, and unwind. Food was solid, drinks were good, and the wine and cocktail selection didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly and professional, though you can tell they're under pressure dealing with the volume of guests. We traveled during a holiday weekend, so there was a waitlist -- about 30-40 minutes before we were allowed in. Unfortunately, this seems to be the norm now with airport lounges everywhere. Once inside, we still had a great time relaxing, eating, and having drinks. The only real letdown was the bar situation. Even though there are two bars, only one bartender was working the full-service cocktail bar, which meant long waits for drinks due to the crowd. Overall, a very nice lounge and a comfortable place to spend time before a flight. With better crowd control and more bartenders during peak hours, this would easily be a 5-star experience. For now, a solid 4 stars.

A bit disappointed with this Amex Centurion Lounge. Very crowded, which isn't necessarily their fault, it is. Holiday week. But many coffee stations are empty at 0900. Perhaps not enough staff for the holiday travel rush? Food was just eh. Look for the quiet seating options tucked away down a hall near the entrance, especially on a busy day!

Recently visited the Miami Centurion Lounge during a layover and as many others have commented this lounge gets very busy, probably the busiest centurion lounge I've been to and there is always a shortage of seats. Food is good and there's a nice variety of hot and cold salads between the two buffet bars. It of course can be busy and while there was no line when I went in around 3pm, by 5pm there was a waiting list. I do wish they set up designated areas to leave used plates and glasses as the tables can get pretty dirty and there aren't enough servers to take away used items.

There is a row of food in different sections of the lounge. Lots of solid options - though admittedly the desserts were limited other than some chocolate and ice cream they were passing around. Service is friendly. The bar when walking to the left seems to be less clogged with people looking for a drink. Overall, the lounge is fine. It is quite crowded. Not the best Centurion lounge but not bad.

Just a little update that the lounge opens at 5:00, but the bar does not open until 8:00! So there you have it?!

They stop serving drinks 30 minutes before they close.

The staff are warm and friendly , and there is ample comfortable seating. The food options are disappointing, but Flagship customers also have access the standard American lounge too which sometimes has more appealing food options and everyday comfort deserts (like Brownies, rice Krispy treats or German cake). One of my favorite amenities of the Flagship lounge is the shower suites. I enjoy a nice shower before a long international flight (as well as the Arrivals Lounge in Heathrow for example, upon arrival). At the MIA flagship lounge if you arrive with sufficient time they will add your name to the list and typically a shower suite will be ready in about 30-60 minutes. Aside from the showers, it's really all the open seating I enjoy compared to the standard lounge which can get very loud and busy.

On this visit we had the pleasure of experiencing Flagship First dining which is a private, full-service restaurant within the Flagship Lounge. Flagship First dining exists only in Miami and DFW. The LAX Flagship First dining remains closed. Food and beverage options in Flagship First are definitely a step above the standard Flagship Lounge offerings including Laurent-Perrier Grand Siecle champagne! Many years ago, Flagship First had Krug champagne but sadly no more. The decor inside is classy and chic and service is impeccable and attentive. I wanted to try something small since I knew the flight would have a meal as well. I tried the crab cake which was excellent and the perfect size for a snack. Of course, I had the Laurent-Perrier champagne as well - truly outstanding! For dessert I had the poached pear which was delightful! I also had the Irish coffee, but this was much worse than the one I had experienced in DFW. There was neither a cinnamon stick nor whipped cream because they were apparently out of both. Oh well. First world problems! Anyway, definitely visit the Flagship Lounge if you are able and definitely, definitely try Flagship First dining if you get the chance!

I've not seen anywhere to relax, per se. The chairs for the most part are situated for groups of 4 and there's always one person sitting with bags strewn across. Pros: free beer, wine, spirits, and food. Quieter than the terminal when you're a couple of hours early for international. Friendly staff. Cons: those are its redeeming qualities and it's basically a quite terminal seating area. Not great, but not bad. The lounge was quite busy on the evening we arrived. It was a Thursday and it was about 3/4 of the way full. Good news is they serve mini pints of Blue Bell Ice Cream. Bad news is at some point the ice cream was not kept cold enough so it melted and got refrozen. Another miss was the lack of salad dressing options for the salad aside from oil and vinegar. Really? That's it? I saw other people looking for salad dressing options and dumbfounded as to how that could seriously be the only option. This was especially odd because it was a salad bar situation where you had so many other ingredients to choose from, but at the end you can only dress it with the most basic option imaginable. More attention to detail would have bumped this lounge to a 4 star in my opinion.
