I Stopped in on a Thursday afternoon before my flight. The highlights here are the food and bar in my opinion. I arrived right before they were transitioning from breakfast to lunch. I did get a chance to try the plantain pancakes, ham, and scrambled eggs. All was tasty, hot and fresh. Unfortunately I just missed the fresh fruit that really looked appetizing. Breakfast was good but I am glad that I saved room for lunch. They had beans and rice along with a delicious Piccadillo made with olives just how I like it! Centurion lounges always have really good salad bars with plenty of fresh veggies and tasty salad dressings. They also had a chicken dish, mushroom bisque, and a few other veggie dishes. The fresh crisp chocolate chip cookies were yummy. The bar tenders are quite efficient and make tasty hand crafted drinks that rival any high end restaurant bar. There is a clean multi stall restroom however I didn't see any showers here. Seating isn't the most comfortable here however I was able to snag a bucket square club chair which I was able to take a cat nap for about 45 minutes. The staff here are friendly and hard working. Miami isn't my favorite airport however this lounge definitely makes it more tolerable. read more

We stopped in here before our flight home. You had to scan a QR code to join the digital waitlist- it was about 20 mins before we could enter. It was VERY BUSY! We found a table and a couple chairs free but the place is absolutely packed with people. The hot food selections were picked over and really messy / unappetizing so went to back corner for soup and sandwich - those were fine - mostly bread on the sandwich - very thin tiny slice of turkey. My husband went to the bar to get us a drink and the bartender didn't want to give him two drinks - he did point me out sitting at the table with our bags, but I guess you're supposed to abandon your things/chairs and go looking for another seat? Center Lounge at Miami International Airport has a nice setup and the amenities are what you'd expect when traveling with a premium credit card. However, the experience started off on the wrong foot. The woman working outside next to the elevator was super aggressive and not friendly at all. I completely understand there can be a waitlist, and I have no issue waiting my turn. But when you're paying $750 a year for a Platinum card, basic courtesy and professionalism should come standard. A warm greeting and respectful communication go a long way. Once inside, the lounge itself was decent and comfortable, which helped balance the experience. Still, first impressions matter--especially in hospitality. Overall, the lounge is okay, but the front desk service really needs improvement. read more

Miami is one of the better locations. No wait on Sunday at 7am though lounge was pretty packed. Plenty of self serve coffee and 2 self service food area. The eggs were subpar but there was a good selection of fresh fruit and no wait at the bar. read more

There should be a disclaimer for all American Express card users when they come to Miami... "Better join the Waitlist". I don't think I've ever been to this airport without seeing the same signage telling you to check in digitally for the waitlist. Today we ventured over from Terminal G to Terminal D, which was a hike, and I actually joined the waitlist when we initially left. It took about 40 minutes before I actually received my QR code for access, but at that point I decided to return back to our initial Airport gate. On my previous trip, I came and I'm not gonna lie. It was a hot mess. The level of traffic that goes in and out of there, the cleaning crew can barely keep the areas clean. All the chairs still have stuff on them so you feel like you gotta self-service cleanup. The offerings aren't great, and I pretty much left in disgust. The card carries a lot of privileges, BUT here at Miami International Airport, it's just not worth it. If you have a layover here for anything less than 4 hours, don't make the effort...Unless you need a shower, got no money, and have nothing better to do... American Express Centurion Lounge - Miami (Gate D12) Located near Gate D12, this lounge is beautiful -- modern, spacious, and definitely one of the nicer Centurion Lounges I've been to. The seating along the huge windows is a highlight. Sitting there watching nonstop American Airlines activity on the runway is oddly relaxing and a great way to kill time before a flight. The lounge itself is large, with two bars and two food buffet stations, so there's plenty of room to sit, eat, and unwind. Food was solid, drinks were good, and the wine and cocktail selection didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly and professional, though you can tell they're under pressure dealing with the volume of guests. We traveled during a holiday weekend, so there was a waitlist -- about 30-40 minutes before we were allowed in. Unfortunately, this seems to be the norm now with airport lounges everywhere. Once inside, we still had a great time relaxing, eating, and having drinks. The only real letdown was the bar situation. Even though there are two bars, only one bartender was working the full-service cocktail bar, which meant long waits for drinks due to the crowd. Overall, a very nice lounge and a comfortable place to spend time before a flight. With better crowd control and more bartenders during peak hours, this would easily be a 5-star experience. This is supposed to be a high end airport lounge. It's terrible. First of all they make you wait to get in until your flight is about 2 hours out. What's the point of even going to the lounge at that point? Secondly the food is straight trash. No hot food. Not even fruit at Noon. The salad was garbage. I'm at the Priority Pass Lounge using my Chase card at the New Orleans airport and the level of customer service and food is way way better. It's like the annual fees for up and the quality goes down. They took away the massages (in which were hit or miss) they had a person doing manicures (they took that away) and the food 7/10 it will be terrible. I have come to the lounge and the food was decent but this isn't it today. Sausage tastes like Jail Food, Eggs are way under seasoned, the French toast was good but that's about it. Recently visited the Miami Centurion Lounge during a layover and as many others have commented this lounge gets very busy, probably the busiest centurion lounge I've been to and there is always a shortage of seats. Food is good and there's a nice variety of hot and cold salads between the two buffet bars. It of course can be busy and while there was no line when I went in around 3pm, by 5pm there was a waiting list. I do wish they set up designated areas to leave used plates and glasses as the tables can get pretty dirty and there aren't enough servers to take away used items. read more

This Centurion Lounge at MIA is situated in Concourse D above gate D14. It is smaller than other Centurion Lounges I have visited, but it still has all the comforts a lounge needs in-between or before a flight. I have visited this lounge a few times and they are always fairly early in the morning before a flight. While it is busy, or steady, it has never been packed as noted in the other reviews. While I have never experienced that, I can imagine it can get overwhelming when busy given the limited seats, bar space and food counters. During breakfast hours they usually have a small spread of breakfast meats and eggs, along with oatmeal, pastries, breads and muffins. And of course, an assortment of coffee, tea and drinks. The space is always clean and seems well kept. Staff walk around collecting dishes and keeping areas clean. Bathrooms were well kept as well. Service at the front is okay. There are usually two agents checking people in. They are normally to the point, not overly friendly or welcoming, but never rude or dismissive. Overall, solid spot to hang out pre-flight. Happy to pop back in when flying from or through MIA in the future. read more

Absolutely unacceptable experience at the American Express Centurion Lounge in Miami International Airport. After checking in with the front desk, we were told everything was fine and were instructed to wait. We waited over an hour, only to be turned away at the entrance by another attendant who claimed we were not allowed in because it was more than 3 hours before our flight departure. The most frustrating part wasn't just the miscommunication--it was the complete lack of accountability. Despite clearly being assisted and approved earlier, the staff refused to acknowledge their mistake or make any effort to resolve the situation. Instead, we were dismissed with no empathy or solution. Dario the assistant manager was the attendant that not only refused to take responsibility for the mistake, but offered us no resolution. As an American Express card member for over 25 years, I've come to expect a high level of service and professionalism. This experience was the exact opposite--disorganized, disrespectful, and incredibly disappointing. A premium brand should not treat loyal customers this way. Completely unacceptable read more

This lounge was unfortunately not the best experience! I simply don't enjoy the layout of Miami, because our flight was in Concourse H, so we went through security to get to this lounge and then had to go through security again once we went to Concourse H. For starters, the lounge was horribly busy. They should've stopped letting people in! We walked and stood around for at least 10 minutes waiting for any seat to open up, and at least 20 other people were doing the same thing. We also signed up for a shower, and then saw that the showers were out of order? But no one told us that when we entered. This lounge is worthwhile if your gate is in terminal D. It's located near D12. Otherwise you will have to check back into your designated gate since the gates at MIA are not connected. It's not a glitzy space and the layout design isn't my favorite but for a pitstop it gets the job done. There's actually two areas for food and they served different items when I visited. I came in the afternoon and there was no wait to enter. There are few family/group seating areas and I feel like the lounge is more set up for the single traveler. I only had about 20 minutes to spare in this lounge so I ended up sitting at a small table that was not yet cleaned. A server soon came by to clean my table so it ended up not being a big deal. I thought the food was much better than at the other centurion lounges I've been to. The empty dishes were quickly refilled. They have the automatic coffee machines and I liked the unsweetened lemonade. Glad I made a pit stop here! read more

The quality of food was decent for breakfast. Fresh ham n cheese quiche brought out regularly. Bonus star for the nitro brew and cold brew on tap. The morning margarita was good as well. In reality, the place is over-crowded, loud and simply more stressful than sitting in the floor in the terminal . I had very big expectations going into the centurion lounge. Especially in such a glamorous and detail oriented city like Miami. The lounge was nothing special. They did have good food and responsive bartenders but the whole place looked like it had not been maintained for a long time. A dated aesthetic and a simple buffet selection doesn't move the needle at all in terms of lounges. I was here this week and it was very packed but I was able to get in without a wait. Only two agents were checking people in, but they were efficient. I had to circle the entire place to find a seat; but that's not that bad as Centurion lounges these days are very busy and some (I'm looking at you, DFW, stay so packed that it's hard to get in). The food was pretty good and on par with most Centurion Lounges. I had a nice sweet potato chili with red beans, BBQ chicken, rice and salad. Are you kidding? First visit to Centurian. We thought we were upgrading from the crowded Admirals Club, but this is even more crowded and less comfortable. There was a line to get on elevator. There are least 20 people waiting for seating that is 70% tabletop instead of lounge seating (they just had to stop letting people in). Breakfast was a C- (Admirals was a solid B). The cut pineapple is the best thing on the buffet (5 minute line for food). And they keep making announcements to clear your luggage from chairs on a really loud PA system. $1100 in annual fees for 2 of us to get in? Really? UPDATE. Tried again. Still very crowded but better than first visit. Lunch food was actually really good. Then I walked across the hall to Admirals. Food was ok but not up to par with Centurian for variety and taste. But it is so much more comfortable, quieter and less crowded that I will wait out my flight delay here. I had the same experience at DFW two weeks ago. Landed at Term E so tried the partner lounge there but 10 wait to get in. Went to Centurian and had a good meal, but wanted a soft chair so went to Admiral's in C where my flight was. I got a comfy lounger with footstool with a charger easily available. Much more comfortable and quiet. read more

Located deep in Terminal D, they take the rule of no entry more than 3 hours before boarding very seriously. I had to wait, which was fine since there is a hidden spot to the left of the entrance with plenty of seating and even some light refreshments. This hidden spot is before the check-in and does not require you to check in to access it. There are even showers. The food is delicious, the views are great and there is plenty of seating. The service was good about regularly going around to clean up dirty dishes. read more

My husband has lounge access, as such he paid $50 for me to have access. I was perfectly comfortable to go to the Turkish lounge as access to the Turkish lounge would be free for both of us. To be granted access, you have yo request access ahead of time, show up when you are notified, provide your credit card along with your identification card , and your boarding pass. I was warmly greeted by the woman and asked if I was having a good day. We were checked in by a man who was able to look up my card to see if I had free access. We were briefed on where things were and the area to find seating. I tried three mocktails. I tried the lentil soup and it was delicious. I even dared to ask for the recipe. No, I didn't get the recipe, but the lovely woman tried to help me, but then we chatted about how to make the soup. The bbq chicken was good. Seating was comfortable. The bar staff worked quickly to make the drinks. We arrived a little after 5 and left around 8:40. read more

As a united and SouthWest airlines flyer, access to The Centurion Lounge is a bit of a haul... but worth the walk and extra security check. Suggest Checkpoint 1 with TSA access for the easiest access. I visited during the lunch hour and the food was fantastic. A nice summer salad and a nice cold soup with a nitro brew .
