Coffee bar

This lounge is located across from J6 and is a short walk to Terminal H. When you go up the escalator and turn to the left, go to the end of the hall because the other 2 lounges are for other airlines and businesses. Entering was so simple and easy. We chose a 3 top by the window to watch the planes. There's a QR code on each table where you can order hot items to your exact table. I ordered the tortellini, the hubs ordered pesto penne, and my sister ordered the BBQ. All of the items were delicious. The salad bar was plentiful and the soups were so delicious. There is also a self serve bar and pop in the fridges. You can also find desserts in the fridge and they were so yummy.

New, small lounge, comfy, relaxing, not many dining options just little things to pick on not bad. It's more like a little café expected slightly more but better than waiting outside with everyone else for your flight.

This is for the refurbished air Portugal avianca lounge. It's in front of J6 for Star Alliance and priority pass. We were actually flying on AA but had a long layover. I'm glad we came and wish this was in the D concourse! There is a QR code for small bites. It's a much better food selecting than the anemic admirals clubs in D and the Turkish lounge in D-E is always so crowded. Anyway, great space and option!

This lounge is located in Miami International airport. I've used it multiple times due to being a priority pass card holder. It's decent in food and drink options. They usually always have a salad bar, soup option, some kind of sandwiches, and a dessert or two. In drinks they have many beverages including cold or hot drinks. I usually use their coffee machine for a latte or cappuccino. They tend to have busy times and seating can be limited but you can still find a seat somewhere. They don't have power outlets with many seats. So, have your devices charged from before. They keep the lounge well maintained with constant plate and cup pick up, restocking food items etc. Overall, this lounge fairs better than some other lounges within this airport. ~

Had a great experience here! Ventured here all the way from the Delta terminal (terminal H at MIA), which is a bit of a hike but totally worth it for the Avianca Lounge. I was flying out on a Saturday evening before Christmas and the lounge was PACKED, but I was greeted at the reception desk with a smile and enjoyed excellent service throughout my experience. Background: I used my Priority Pass membership to get in. Perhaps I was really hungry from venturing around South Beach all day, but I was incredibly excited for the food. There is a great selection here - salads, soup, standard snacks like pretzels, hummus, finger sandwiches, desserts, and what I was most thankful for: a HUGE, hot pot of Orange Chicken and accompanying yellow rice. There's a self-serve liquor station, and a giant cooler loaded with a variety of soft drinks and cold beer. Excellent service as they had staff refilling food and cleaning tables non-stop. There were also tons of other nooks to relax, watch TV, and work besides the main lounge area. The restroom is plain and not sexy sleek like some other lounges, but it is clean and fits your needs. Definitely worth the trek even if not flying international and I look forward to coming back soon!

We had a bit of a dispute on entry with barely pleasant counter staff. The fact is that this place can't cope with the volume of customer footfall and the staff become irritable trying to cope. We, on the other hand, were so tired and not in the mood to be messed with. Anyway after frankly explaining our situation with a manager who was insensitive, and in the wrong business, we were sorted out by a lovely Cuban lady manager who remained pleasantly attentive to us throughout our stay. We've been here before and the food was similar to before. The hot soup was delicious and the roast turkey was excellent too. They had Japanese stir fried vegetables but I gave them a miss. Likewise the serve yourself beer and wine supplies were good. It's all entirely satisfactory here. food and drink wise. It's also fairly comfortable and the staff who clean and keep the place spick do so frequently. The WiFi was darn good too.

The Avianca Lounge is in the J Concourse of the South Terminal of the Miami International Airport. It is located right next to the VIP Lounge. You can access the lounge using the escalators or elevator to the 2nd floor of the Concourse. If you are flying out of the country using any foreign airlines these are the two lounges you can use yet the service of the Avianca Lounge is so much better compared to the VIP Lounge. We used the Avianca lounge on our recent trip to Bucharest flying via Swiss and used our Priority Pass to access the lounge. The lounge is well set up with free wifi and charging stations for the passengers. There are plenty of great food options. Soups and sandwiches along with salad and a couple of dishes like Rice and Chicken are available along with a wide range of drinks. We usually get to the Miami airport early as international flights are required to so getting to the lounge is relaxing and this one is a 5 star lounge I would recommend to all the readers of this review.

The Avianca Lounge was a solid find in the Miami airport. Even though the lounge is in the J wing of the terminal it's worth the 10 minute walk from the United Gates which are over on the H wing. The lounge was crowded as it serves all of the Star Alliance carriers in the terminal, but seating was available and the variety of food solid, especially compared to what is usually provided in the United Club. I was also impressed by how frequently the lounge staff serviced both the food area and the tables. While the food itself won't win any culinary awards, the vegetable soup and turkey breast were good. While I wouldn't consider the lounge an oasis like the ANA lounge in Tokyo or Singapore Air lounge in Singapore, it did provide a welcome respite from the busy Miami airport terminal and I will return.

Not the best biz class lounge i have been to. Everything is Old and dated..walls have marks on them because people were dying to escape. Lol

Hard to say anything good about this lounge..I travel all over the World. The service is good.. Everything else is super dated.. They should just do fruits and snacks. This place needs a total Redo. 2018 Avianca.. helllllo. Avoid this like the plage. Beer and Bourbon helped me with the PAIN.

Yummy Grolsch! I didn't look happy because...I was about to embark on 26 hours of travel!

The other reviews were right, very rude staff and they don't want priority pass holders, so why you say that you are accepting it???

During our recent visit, it looked fresh and modern, consistent with other relatively recently updated Sky Clubs around the country. This is the only Sky Club in MIA. It's located in the H-J Connector in the South Terminal. Delta mainly operates out of the H gates in Concourse H. From the boarding area, you have to take an elevator or stairs up to Level 4 to enter the Sky Club. Foodwise, I enjoyed the mojo pork, and black beans and rice, as well as a quinoa wrap and warm chocolate chip cookies. Everything was delicious. I liked the touches of Latin cuisine since this is Miami. At the bar, the Bloody Marys were terrific. Overall, the lounge was spacious and seating was comfortable, and service was great (hostess, food staff, bartender).

This morning was fresh baked waffles, an egg fish, and chorizo along with yogurt and fruit. In addition, lots of pastries and breads. I've enjoyed the privileges of membership, which mostly is the exceptional level of service provided. The MIA D30 Admirals Club seems to have some nice people working there as well, especially Alexandra at the Check In desk. Unfortunately for Alexandra and her colleagues, the place is run by the miserable Catarena (she refused to provide her last name or any other identifying information and stated "just tell them Catarena in M-I-A Admirals Club"). We were connecting on a flight home via MIA and had some family with us. We went to the club at D15 and hung out there for about 30 minutes. We chose to move over to the D30 club, as our gates were much closer to that lounge. We arrived and my wife did not have her AAdvantage credit card with her. I showed the check in counter at D15 her card on the Citi app and they said it's no problem. We went over to D30 expecting a similar experience...but the polar opposite. Alexandra let me know she needed the Supervisor to make an exception. She didn't think it would be a problem, especially since the D15 club just let us in. Catarena came over with a negative attitude right from the start. It was apparent that she is one of the people who hates doing her job. I explained the situation to her and about how we had just come from the lounge at D15. She said she'd call them to "check" (as if I was lying). She said they don't remember letting us in, and said they let someone in with five kids and no one else so she could do the same. I explained we do my had five kids in the group. I also asked for the name of the person she spoke with. "You have my name, right? YOU asked for MY name, right? That's enough." I asked Catarena if she was going to help us. She refused to answer the question and kept going round and round with no answer and the stupid smirk on her face...you know it...the one terrible people in Customer Service use when they've "won" by upsetting a loyal, repeat patron. Catarena NoLastName finally set me off with her stupid smirk and disingenuous "have a nice day" in the most annoying and condescending voice. I gave her some choice words, wished her a terrible rest of her miserable life, and walked out with my family. Note: this club is the anomaly...it's horrible because they have a worthless Supervisor (Catarena NoLastName) working there...most Admirals Clubs are absolutely phenomenal!

The music was great and people were enjoying their time. We had 1 cocktail each and went on our way because we just came to check out the spot honestly. I had the fabulous martini which has a purple hue to it, it was very refreshing. I love that they garnish it with a lavender. The espresso martini was made with Don Julio Reposado, and had real fresh espresso as per the menu. It was good but a bit strong too! We had asked for an extra shot of espresso on the side just as a pick me up. But our server told us that it comes cold, which is odd because the menu literally says freshly brewed espresso in the cocktail description. It was fine though, we still enjoyed the drinks. Overall, our experience was nice! If you are ever in the Hialeah area, you should totally check this spot out. They also have bites you can order but we were full from dinner and didn't get a chance to try anything. Definitely have to come back to try some more cocktails and grab some bites!
