    Chicken Empanada and Queso Taqueno
    Doug G.

Flying out of D50 today and decided to grab a quick and small bite before the flight. Bacardi Mojito Bar was perfect and the case of freshly baked empanadas drew me right in! I went to the counter and decided to sit down and enjoy. In this case, they take your order at the counter and then lead you to the small dining room. At this point the wait staff takes over. Service was friendly and fast. Empanada was crispy and packed full of chicken, while the taqueno was a decent couple of bites. If you are after a mojito, this is your spot...per the name. You can enjoy at the bar or the dining room. Overall good spot to hit if you are deep enough in D Terminal and have some time before boarding.

Ordered food from here as we waited for our flight. Drinks were strong, food was decent and prices were actually great. Cuban sandwich with side salad for $12 at an airport is incredible! The size salad was a great size and actually fresh and tasty. Cuban needed more condiments which they had plenty of. Wasn't the best I ever had, but it was very good and again $12 for a meal at an airport is something you can't beat!

Stopped here because we are big fans and supporters of Bacardi. I must say I was extremely disappointed in this location. Service was lacking and the food was D minus at best. Do not waste your time and stop here the drinks or water down and I was not impressed. We also found out that our beverages ran almost $18 apiece. There are no prices on the menu. This place is a complete rip off. Save your money and go to McDonald's. This place is garbage at best.

I did not get a mojoto since I had one before I left Jacksonville. However, for a pleasurable experience before leaving Miami's American airlines gate 60 please stop by Bacardi Mojitothe Original to order a drink, delicious pastries or a cup of Joe. The cashier was upbeat but please be prepared to wait. But there is such a thing as a mobile order. No waiting in line. Bye Miami until the next time.

Breakfast at mojito bar lol Place was packed with holiday travelers Food was actually ok for breakfast I had the bacon egg and cheese bagel Service was slow because they got a party of 11 smh

A default 18% gratuity for a single person check.

The food was ok, the service was ok. But they give themselve 18% tip by default! At least that what my waiter told me. "The system puts that by default" he said. It was not a party of 4, just me. I bet it works well for travelers who don't really pay attention to their checks. Not very honest in my opinion.

Once you step inside, you're transported back to the Prohibition era with a moody atmosphere, intimate setting, and all the character you'd hope to find in a true speakeasy experience. The cocktails are unquestionably the star of the show. Thoughtfully crafted, well-balanced, and presented with attention to detail, each drink feels like part of the experience rather than just something to sip on. Add in a live DJ, great music, and an energetic crowd, and the result is a place with incredible vibes from start to finish. Whether you're looking for a unique date night, a nightcap, or a spot to impress friends from out of town, 9 Feet Under delivers. Joe, at the door, was very welcoming. Fabricio, the mixologist, was a true craftsman. We'll definitely be back.

The food menu is also fairly limited and consists mostly of typical bar fare, which didn't quite match the unique ambiance of the venue. I was expecting a more creative and elevated menu to complement the overall experience. The service was decent, and the crowd was lively, with several groups celebrating special occasions. Overall, I had a good time and would return for the atmosphere and drinks. One thing to note is that they're fairly strict about reservations, which helps maintain the speakeasy-style experience.

We've come here a few times in recent weeks and the place is running nearly the same as it always has for at least a few decades, through changes in drag hosts, management and even changes to this venue's name over those years. We tend to come just before showtime so there's normally always a cover (worth it for the entertainment patrons get to see), friendly bartenders and a drag show featuring talented performers, with at least one normally interacting with patrons and doing comedy during a break in the performances, before opening up the floor for dancing once the show is complete. Azucar isn't located near much of anything else when it comes to nightlife, it's a bit divey - definitely nothing fancy or glamorous, and it's probably not worth the drive from the beach just to check it out, as at least one other reviewer mentioned. Also, all shows and entertainment, aside from lyrics to a few songs here and there are in Spanish with no English translation, so if you don't speak Spanish or have someone who can interpret at least some of the funniest bits that get the most laughs, you may not fully understand what's happening or may feel a bit left out. That said, if you're just looking for a solid drag show or appreciate Latin nightlife, this is definitely an option.

Ironically, we happened to pass by on our way to dinner, and when I asked the bouncer, he told us kids were allowed--so in we went. Watching the bartenders in action was a performance in itself, and my kids were completely amazed. We only stopped in for drinks, and since we were with kids, we were seated at the tables rather than the bar, which was totally fine. We also had such a pleasure to Christian who I believe is the bar director of the bespoke program they uphold there. So I was a little surprised when I arrived around 7:00 and there were literally no other diners! But it turned out to be terrific: the food, drinks, setting, and the personalized service I got from my waitress was outstanding. The hospitable vibe made me feel special, like I belonged, as opposed to self-conscious or on display in the empty room. She did assure me that it fills up frequently, and two or three other parties did come in towards the end of my visit around 8:30. Maybe people just tend to eat later around here. I started off with a Hemingway daiquiri, one of my standards these days. Fresh-squeezed lime juice, a decent rum, pronounced cherry flavor, and a nice sugar-rimmed glass. Not too sweet and very strong. Enough so that two would have been irresponsible as a driver. My second and last drink, Portlandia pinot noir, was above average for a house wine, a good size and under the going rate for wine glasses. I noticed Fever Tree sodas at the bar. That's an excellent brand and I don't see them often. Speaking of the bar, it was nothing too fancy but I loved the the white monkey figures swinging from the vines overhead, illuminated by the changing colored lights. Salsa music playing quietly. There was a bartender who I didn't interact with, somehow keeping busy the whole time. I wonder what he was doing with nobody else to serve drinks to? Taking my time before describing the food because I took my time too, studying the menu and taking in the scene. I started with Serrano Ham and Manchego Croquetas: 4 croquettes, browned and firm on the outside and soft, hammy and cheesy inside, sprinkled with cheese on top and aioli underneath. Couldn't be better. Entree was Salmon A La Plancha: the grilled, seasoned fish served on top of a large pool of the aji amarillo sauce. A different sauce, sweet and brown drizzled sparingly on top, a very charred half lime for squeezing on extra flavor. Jasmine rice on the side and a small salad with great greens, a sweet dressing, and pickled onions. The salmon maybe just lightly overcooked? A trivial complaint! Fantastic. Totally unexpectedly, as if it wasn't already special enough, at this point another plate arrived: an appetizer of tostones and a very generous quantity of guacamole, limey and cilantro-laden. Free of course. Well I was pretty full at this point but I thanked her sincerely, tried some - it was excellent - and took most of it home for the next day. Then it was on to dessert. A Cafe Con Leche flan with Kahlua sauce and meringue. Nicely chilled, brûléed, smooth consistency, and toasted meringue that actually tasted good, not like the usual that I just scrape off and discard. Complete with caramel popcorn, salty and sweet, fruit and mint garnish. Equally important as the taste, it was a beautiful presentation. I finished with a flawless espresso. Truly a perfect dining experience, no exaggeration.

That was complimented by our bartender, Billy, knocking out some perfect killer classics, like a real Mai Tai, and Navy Grog, that, post the 1950s became kind of sugar filled, over-the-top mockeries of the Tiki cocktail arts. No mockery here. Just the old school magic.
