Food is delicious! So far we've tried the Mongolian beef and jalapeño chicken, shrimp dumplings and sesame balls. Counter service very friendly and you can see them cooking your food to order in a large window. Great lunch specials under $13 that. One with well portioned entree, spring rolls and egg drop soup.

Greeted with a warm smile when you walk in. You order at the counter and then they bring food to the table rather quickly with a smile. Portions were huge for the price but the star of the show was the hand pulled noodles for sure. The beef roll had GREAT flavor. The string beans could use some chili oil which I did. But all in all, I've already returned once LOL. I plan to do it again!

We were famished and were looking for something familiar but different for dinner. Yelp suggested 88 Baobao and we were happy to try them in McKinney Tx, as we had tried and liked their Dublin CA branch in earlier! First of all a wide smile and eagerness to serve seemed ingrained into the staff here. We ordered quickly and our food was brought quickly ! It was served piping hot and for the first time in a long while I thoroughly enjoyed slurping my XLB while came in quickly and almost too hot to eat! Yumm! We also got the HarGaw and enjoyed them thoroughly as well ! Portion sizes were huge so the Shrimp Fried Rice and the Kung Pao Chicken that we ordered, though tantalizingly inviting, had to be taken as to go after only a few bites! We loved everything about this place and place to come again very soon!

Tried this new spot on a Sunday evening for a late dinner! We got there about 45 minutes before they closed and we were so glad we came! The service was quick and the cashier provided lots of helpful suggestions! We were only seated at our table for a matter of minutes before our first item was delivered to the table (given there was only one other table dinning at that time). We got an order of the pork xiao long bao, chili crisp wontons (pork and shrimp), and orange chicken! Everything was absolutely delicious and tasted super fresh! 1. The Xiao long bao was cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of soup inside! The broth and the meat were both super flavorful 2. The orange chicken was crispy and covered with sauce! The only thing I wish was different was that it came with a side of rice but we ended up just ordering a side. 3. The Chili Crisp Wontons were my husband's favorite! I had a couple and the flavors were amazing but be warned these are definitely spicy! We definitely got ice cream a few doors down at Stella's afterward! This place is super clean and cute. And for a fast causal asian restaurant this may be my new favorite! I can't wait to come back and explore more the menu!

If I were to get one thing it's the Taiwan beef noodle soup (R4)! The broth is delicious and the meat is tender! The noodles in the soup were also amazing and It had bok choy. Another favorite is the beef roll! It has a sweet glaze inside with beef and veggies!

Authentic. The dumplings and steamed buns were delicious. Try the egg custard filled and red bean filled. They are sweet so enjoy the savory menu items first. This is an "order at the counter and find a table" place. They bring the order to your table as each item is made, so you need to keep track to make sure you got everything you ordered. Our party was missing two items and we had to keep asking. The take out business was brisk. Good value, cafeteria style atmosphere, very good quality buns.

We have eaten here twice now, once dine in and once as take out. The owners (Joyce and a tall guy, didn't get his name, but both so nice and very welcoming, polite). The food is AMAZING and made fresh to order. The owners check EVERY plate coming out of the kitchen (I watched them do this), so you know they are on top of the quality. The wonton soup we had was delicious, loved the broth. The dumplings are so fresh and tender. Only wish would be to add a wor wonton option with bbq pork. My son had the hand pulled noodles which he LOVED. My husband (He's Chinese, born and raised in Hong Kong and then the San Francisco area), loves the food and said repeatedly it's the best he's had since moving here from the SF area.

Doup dumplings were awesome. The pan fried pork bun equally delicious with a little soy sauce. Beef pan fried dumplings were ok didn't pop flavor wise but still good. Everything cane out piping hot and restaurant was empty but clean with friendly young staff at front register.

My son and I were looking for something different than our usual spots, found this place on Yelp. Oh wow the food is absolutely delicious. I had the beef and broccoli so delicious and my son had the lo mein noodles w shrimp and beef. The noodles were absolutely amazing. My son is picky when it comes to noodles but he is already planning our next trip out. Thank you for making our mother son dinner date night a success.

First time here and I ordered takeout for pickup. Food was flavorful, staff were very friendly and the place was very clean. I would definitely go back to eat in. Nice to find a Chinese restaurant in my local area in McKinney

More hype than substance. Was really hoping for a quality dumpling house. Bland, poor quality, fast food.

Bathrooms are cute, clean, and well stocked. What I didn't care for... I received my Mongolian beef early. My husband didn't get his orange chicken for 20ish minutes. I had a few bites but waited, we typically eat together. After 15 minutes, the eggrolls came out hot and fresh, now my food is getting cooler and the hubby still hasn't received his meal. All of this to say, consider making the easier dish later so they can be done together or hold meals until they can be served together. There was a long wait between food delivery, drink refills, and check, but in our servers defense: he was the only one serving, and it got busy for lunch. I may try it again when in the area

He offered suggestions and told us if there was anything we did not like to let him know. We had a lot of different things. The Red Devil Beef was super flavorful and like nothing I had before. It was a spicy but doable and full of yum. We also had the beef flat noodle, black bean chicken garlic, rangoons and green beans. When I say everything was cooked perfectly I mean everything. When I started writing the review I had it as 4 stars. I am often hesitant on giving a 5 on my first visit. Due to Ty taking personal accountability and catering to make everything just right I felt the 5 was well deserved. My only feedback is I felt the prices were just a little higher than expected. It was not ridiculous and maybe it is inflation. Regardless their food is good.

First, many of the dishes lacked the authenticity. The hot and sour soup wasn't sour at all and was overwhelmed by the flavor of sesame oil. The black bean noodles tasted like instant noodles you could make at home, and we ended up adding black vinegar ourselves just to bring some acidity and balance to the dish. The sweet chili shrimp also didn't taste fresh. At the end of our meal, we literally said "this tasted like Chinese buffet food." The service and dining environment made the experience even worse. Throughout our meal, we constantly heard dishes being slammed around from servers cleaning tables. At one point, something was dropped so hard that dishes shattered across the floor. A trash cart was parked right next to our booth while we were eating, and the staff even started mopping the floor directly in front of us during the lunch rush. I understand that restaurants often hire seasonal staff during the summer, but proper training is still important. The way the dishes were handled throughout our meal was loud, chaotic, and disruptive, making it difficult to enjoy our dining experience. It's unfortunate because our first experience of this restaurant was great, but this visit fell well short of our expectations.

The biggest issue for us was the ordering system. Everyone has to scan a QR code, place their own order, and enter their phone number. For a large group, this became very confusing because when the food came out, there was no clear way to tell who ordered what. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out which dishes belonged to each person. If you're coming with a big party, I definitely recommend making a list of everyone's orders ahead of time so it's easier to organize when the food arrives. The food itself was extremely spicy. Most of the BBQ items -- seafood, chicken, beef, and pork -- seemed to have the same heavy cumin and spicy seasoning, so the flavors started tasting very similar. Personally, that wasn't for us. However, the soy sauce fried rice and the cold noodles were really good and stood out the most from the meal. The service was good overall, although communication was a little difficult at times because it was hard to understand the staff's accents. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept. I think this place may work much better for smaller groups, but for our large party it was stressful and the food flavors were too repetitive for our taste. Unfortunately, it's probably not somewhere we would return to. Also they added 25% tip mandatory without mentioning it anywhere ; It was an experience though
