I was so excited that they opened one in Edmonds. Came here four times already, love their bread and tea. But the boba is very very soft and soggy, with no texture at all:(. I wish they could make a fresh batch every so often, instead of just letting old boba sit there and get soggy. Very unpleasant texture!! Really wish they could make a consistent good boba tea, unfortunately all four times I came here the boba was very soggy. The Lynnwood location is slightly better, but the boba is still sub par. If you really want a good quality boba tea with boba that has the correct texture, go to Looking for Chai. They have the best consistency for boba. read more

This review is solely based on the soft opening. I came here today at about 2pm and it was pretty empty. Probably because nobody knows it's open yet! For right now, the bakery is open until 4pm up til the grand opening. It was super clean inside. This location has lots more seating than the Lynnwood location. The cases were completely full of the same baked goods as all the other locations, nothing too new. Customer service was GREAT! Super friendly and helpful! Everything was delicious as always. There is a new bun I tried, it's the milk tea bun. It's a sweet bread with milk tea custard filling. OMG, tastes just like milk tea. SO GOOOOOD! we were on our way to Ranch 99 for grocery shopping, and decided to stop by 85 to pick up drinks. while we were standing on the line, we noted they have the self-order machine inside for drink & cake orders only, that I had never used before, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered a 85 degree ice coffee, and a black tea. Its nice and easy to use, and bing bam boon! we had our order paid for and submitted, love it! However, we waited for a while for our drink and not hearing our number being called, so I decided to walk over to the counter to check it out, and noticed that my drink is already made on the pick up counter. However, I only see my iced black tea and not ice coffee, so I checked with the staff, and was told that the hot coffee next to my ice tea was part of our order. We checked our receipt again and noticed we place our order wrong. So we apologized and check if we could change it to ice coffee instead. Those nice kids were so friendly and nice, and helped us make an iced one right away without second guess.... We are so happy and appreciate their friendliness, but at the same time, sorry for causing them more trouble. It wasn't a busy at the time of our visit, but they only have one staff working at the drink section, I feel sorry for this nice kid to take on all the orders all on his own. read more

Tried to purchase a cake during the stated optimal pick up window between 10am to 11am ‐ but couldn't since the cake decorator was out. Tried to then purchase one in advance and was told they wouldn't allow you to purchase unless it was made first. Wasted time and money! read more

The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. This is a brand new facility and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in over a month.

Great pastries and drinks but the drink line can be extremely slow if you arrive when they're even a tiny bit busy! Grab a tray, liner and tongs and get grabbing. When you get close to the front of the line to pay there will get plastic baggies to put items in or the cashiers will do it. Great addition to the area! read more

I was soo happy to see this place in Washington so close to Seattle. Chance visit going to home hoods and saw it in same parking lot! From Southern California where there are a ton of 85 degrees. I love their milk teas and their pastries are always delish. We stopped in got our milk tea and it brought back nice memories of Irvine! Very crowded, be ready to wait for your drinks but I remember waiting outside in line for those yummy drinks. Their salted green tea is amazing first time I had that was at 85 degrees in Taiwan and was hooked ever since. What is your secret?! read more

Affordable but High quality pastries with friendly customer service, what can you ask more? I always had smooth pleasant experience with 85C bakery since my first visit and never fails. They have huge selection of Breads, Cakes and Drinks that you might wanna spend some time there. Authentic Asian bakery that provides Japanese, Taiwanese, Danish and European products that starts at 2$. Sometimes they have promotions going on such as on Mondays if you buy smoothie or sea salt coffee you can get another for Free, also managers do similar Special offer on breads and cakes around the end of the day. (Noticed this because visited few times an hour before they were closing) This store however is fairly new and still adjusting, I think they are still training some of their employees. Very spacious, neat and organized compared to the Lynnwood location. Recommendation: Spinach Kale Danish, Brioche, Milk Butter Puff, Boroh Cream Danish, Caramel Danish, Sugar Cream Cheese Brioche, Marble Taro and of course the famous Egg tarts. read more

Great pastries and drinks but terrible management and horrible service. They didn't post how many people were supposed to be in the store yet kept yelling at people as they came in. Several people were very confused as to where they were supposed to stand or order because it was not made clear. When we were asking about a drink, the cashier was very rude and talked to us in a very demeaning manner even though there was no one behind us in line. When receiving my drink, I couldn't hear what they were saying due to the masks and how we were supposed to stand and wait and the guy behind the counter rolled his eyes and was being very short and talked to me like I was being a huge inconvenience. Whoever manages this place needs to hire friendlier employees and have more clear directions for customers. Customers should not be treated horribly for unclear expectations. read more

Fun selection of pastries you can't get anywhere else. Two downsides: 1) no drinks suitable for kids (like juice or milk) and 2) coffee means coffee with milk and sugar. You have to order an "Americano" to just get coffee. And there is no space to doctor your own coffee. You get what you get and you don't get upset. (Or you do and go somewhere else. ) read more
