Was looking for some grub in Del Rio that wasn't TexMex. I found 830 Kitchen and they did not disappoint. The service was great. Staff was invested and kind. The environment felt warm with some soft Christmas music in the background. I ordered the Jalapeño Popper Burger with a side of fries. Burger was juicy, sauce was complimentary and jalapeños tasted fresh, not soggy. It was a good hand held burger so the buns did not make it too breaded. Also really enjoyed the seasoning on the fries. I was not shorted on fries at all. In fact I was stuffed before I could finish them. All in all, I give them 5 stars. Order at the counter and they deliver to your table, but they hand you menus and invite you to sit down at a table to choose your order. Texas-size onion rings, excellent fish tacos, and large salad with avocado dressing. Comfortable, very reasonably priced, pleasant stop on the way to Big Bend National Park-over four hours away. I continue to introduce my friends to this cute place. It's an hour long vacation to Cancun. That's how refreshing, interesting, and modern the decor is. These people know how to make good food and so far have continued to surprise me. I ordered their grilled chicken breast wrap. The seasonings on the chicken would make Colonel Sanders jealous. It was great. And i usually don't bother eating fries which accompany my meals but they had put some kind of lemony, citrusey seasoning and enough of it that i ate every one of them. Great food! In town for a short visit for work and found this place on line. Don't let the outside scare you this place is great. It is small on the inside but it's worth it. I got the chicken salad on a crescent roll, with cucumber and tomato salad. Delicious! Friends got a gyro, it was huge! And other friend got a Cesar salad with chicken. This place is all fresh and they cook right beside you. Staff was friendly and helpful. Don't pass this place up for a healthy option. They even give lots of napkins for our messy eater. read more

This place is very nice inside and out and very clean, the ladies are very nice as well,however upon arrival we were told there was a 30 minute wait on the food , we waited over an hour for carne asada fries and a burger, the food was good nothing to wow about and for the price ,the servings were kind of small .Also you have to get up and ask for everything , lemons for tea , salt , drink refills and ketchup, it was not much of a relaxing atmosphere. I'd say just put the condiments on the table along with the napkin. read more

We've been good food deprived for months since we've in Texas (tired of tex mex and reg food) Anyway, We were passing through del Rio and decided to grab a quick bite (we're from Chicago and our food standards are HIGH) well anyways, we decided to go in & it definitely met all of our food standards We had the mozzarella sticks (AMAZING, breaded and crispy were perf with CREAMY RANCH) like what kind of sorcery We also had the carne asada salad and omggggg the freshnesssss, same with the asada wrap And Buffalo grilled chicken & the micheladas!!! Just want to add that, Not only is the food delicious, but the place is clean, friendly and the atmosphere is amazing 10/10 highly recommend I typically post pictures but we got right in it! Staff were all wearing masks. I had beer battered fish tacos (order is 3). My husband had a cheeseburger and fries. The fish tacos were very good. Fish was not fishy tasting and the corn tortillas were great. I would have liked a little more of the avocado cream sauce and more limes to squeeze over the fish.
