The Asian lady who serviced me was wearing glasses and seemed extremely rushed. She applied so much pressure while threading that she cut my skin and even broke the thread. My grandma received the Omakase Facial, something she had wanted to try for a long time. My mom had full-face sugaring and threading, and I had full-face sugaring and threading along with a brow lamination. None of us had experienced these treatments before, so we weren't sure what to expect. From start to finish, Jenny was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming. She thoroughly explained how to prepare our skin beforehand and made us feel comfortable throughout each treatment. My grandma, who is not easily impressed, was pleased with the results of her facial. My mom couldn't stop talking about how soft and smooth her skin felt after the sugaring and threading. As for me, it was my first time getting a brow lamination, and Jenny did an amazing job shaping and evening out my brows while giving my entire face a clean, polished look. Because I have extremely sensitive skin, I was a little nervous about having a reaction to the lamination treatment, but everything went perfectly. I also really appreciate that Jenny carefully selects products she personally uses and trusts, choosing only those that meet high international quality standards. What truly stood out was her level of care. She even followed up the next day to check on how each of our skin was doing after our treatments. That personal touch meant so much and speaks volumes about how dedicated she is to her clients. I highly recommend Jenny to anyone considering a facial, sugaring, threading, brow lamination, or any of the other services she offers. Her expertise, attention to detail, and genuine care made this a wonderful experience for all three of us.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Kamryn at Hawaii Brow Studio--she truly saved my brows…read more Before coming to her, I had been struggling with my brows from a previous artist. Even though I stayed consistent with my touch-ups and followed all aftercare instructions, my brows would fade so quickly and always turned into this unflattering red undertone. On top of that, my right brow was consistently lighter than my left, and despite bringing it up multiple times, I never received a clear explanation or solution. It was honestly so frustrating. From the moment I sat in Kamryn's chair, I could tell I was in the right hands. She took her time mapping out my brows and walked me through everything--from why my previous work was fading red to the differences in pigments and ink types. That level of education and transparency meant so much to me. You can tell she truly understands her craft and cares about doing things the right way. Her precision is unmatched. She works so intentionally and detail-oriented, yet still manages her time so well--I was able to get to my next appointment right after (my lashes lol), which I really appreciated. On top of that, she is SO light-handed. I was incredibly comfortable the entire time... honestly, I could've fallen asleep if we didn't end up having such a great conversation! We did combo brows, and I am absolutely in love with the results. The color is perfect, the red undertone is completely gone, and my brows are finally even. The soft, feathery strokes in the front are everything--they look so natural yet still give that defined, polished look. I'm beyond happy with my experience and results. I would recommend Kamryn to anyone looking for brow services or any PMU work. She is officially my go-to PMU artist, and I'm so grateful I found her!

Booked a 12:30pm appointment Saturday, September 5th. Waited almost 20 minutes until someone finally interacted with me and told me to head upstairs. As a business they should honor a booking or at the very least apologize for the wait. I let the tech (Helen) know that I'm now kind of in a rush since they took me later than my appointment time. Im not sure if things were lost in translation, but she took many pauses to converse and laugh with her coworker throughout the appointment. Even if I weren't in a rush, that is very unprofessional. The main reason I'm writing this review is because of the end result. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think a gel x set should look a week old, right after getting them done. Helen placed the nails a significant amount away from my cuticles. She still put in the work, I still tipped her well for the services, but I was not impressed. I plan on giving this salon another chance because it was really great at first. I just hope they can be a little bit more cognizant about booking times and all their customers.

Honestly, this visit to Pearl Nails was pretty underwhelming…read more I went with my daughter--she got a pedicure, which was just okay, and I got a gel manicure. Neither service was terrible, but neither was anything to rave about either. What really rubbed me the wrong way was the behavior between the technicians. I have absolutely no problem with employees speaking their native language while working--I think that's completely normal. But one technician was talking to another, and the other one suddenly said, "shhhhh!" and then laughed while looking in our general direction. Maybe they weren't talking about us, but when you're sitting right there as a customer, it definitely makes you wonder. It came across as unprofessional and uncomfortable. I also noticed that the technicians looked completely different from the last time I was there. I'm wondering if there's been a change in management or staff because the overall experience felt different this time around. The services were *okay*, but between the mediocre results and the uncomfortable interaction, I left thinking, "I'll probably find somewhere else next time." Not a horrible experience, but definitely not one that makes me want to come back.

We talked some story while she did my brows and BOOM, was pau. I'm updating on the healing process after the first round of ombre powder brows over previous work (ombre powder and microblading by other artists). I followed the procedures given to me by Jee. LOVED that she texted them to me along with care cards included in my aftercare package. I used ice packs, that helped with the swelling and sunburn sensation a lot. My skin type is oily and with the previous artist that did ombre powder brows, a lot of the ink fell out quickly within months. So to help with ink retention we did the aftercare a bit differently. After a while the normal healing process happened. This includes flaking, peeling and itching. This lasted about 4 weeks for me until the final scab fell off. Then the brows appeared lighter for a while because new skin was growing under the scabs. Then finally the color came back. I asked for more dramatic make-up looking brows instead of natural ones because I was afraid of them fading again so fast. And she did not disappoint! I did not need to do anything make-up wise for my brows, easily saved 10 minutes LOL. And I had eyebrows! What? ;D Again, check out her instagram or website if you're interested! APPOINTMENTS ONLY!
