I cannot say enough amazing things about Kamryn at Hawaii Brow Studio--she truly saved my brows. Before coming to her, I had been struggling with my brows from a previous artist. Even though I stayed consistent with my touch-ups and followed all aftercare instructions, my brows would fade so quickly and always turned into this unflattering red undertone. On top of that, my right brow was consistently lighter than my left, and despite bringing it up multiple times, I never received a clear explanation or solution. It was honestly so frustrating. From the moment I sat in Kamryn's chair, I could tell I was in the right hands. She took her time mapping out my brows and walked me through everything--from why my previous work was fading red to the differences in pigments and ink types. That level of education and transparency meant so much to me. You can tell she truly understands her craft and cares about doing things the right way. Her precision is unmatched. She works so intentionally and detail-oriented, yet still manages her time so well--I was able to get to my next appointment right after (my lashes lol), which I really appreciated. On top of that, she is SO light-handed. I was incredibly comfortable the entire time... honestly, I could've fallen asleep if we didn't end up having such a great conversation! We did combo brows, and I am absolutely in love with the results. The color is perfect, the red undertone is completely gone, and my brows are finally even. The soft, feathery strokes in the front are everything--they look so natural yet still give that defined, polished look. I'm beyond happy with my experience and results. I would recommend Kamryn to anyone looking for brow services or any PMU work. She is officially my go-to PMU artist, and I'm so grateful I found her! read more

Overall amazing experience! First impression, it's so easy to find, located in the Aiea Shopping area. Parking is free and there's tons of parking, it's a typical shopping center style parking. The studio is located on the second floor, when you walk in theres a beautiful photo wall for all your aesthetic selfies when you're done. The entire area was so sanitary, the office was clean and organized. Next, Brows; Kamryn took the right amount of time mapping out my brows making sure the shape was right and everything was in place. I explained that I wanted my brows to be full enough, that it looks complete but I also didn't want them too dramatic when I didn't have makeup on. She was very open to my input and gave her advice based on my request and how I'd wear my brows everyday. The entire experience was painless. Lastly, I followed her after care instructions exactly as she said and my brows didn't peel dramatically and healed so nice. They're perfect for everyday wear and they even look great with full glam on. Kamryn is so smart and educated in what she does, id highly recommend choosing her as your PMU artist. read more

Kamryn, was amazing! I had my brows micro-bladed and my lips blushed. She took swatches of my favorite lipsticks and came up with a perfect color for my lips. My brows look great too, the strokes look so natural and blend perfectly with my brow hairs. It was exactly what I had hoped for! read more

Kamryn is extremely talented, professional and overall just a beautiful person inside and out. I have been coming to her for years! *I was also the girl in her VIRAL skit video online. It was planned out and just a joke. She would NEVER do that to a client unless it was staged. read more

Kamryn was so prompt with communication. As someone who had never done anything to my body or face ever I was so nervous about getting essentially a tattoo on my face of all places. 3 years ago I was looking for an artist to correct my previous eyebrow tattoo by 3 different artists. Kamryn made her recommendations and my brows came out super! I've been having her retouch each year. A couple of months ago Kamryn did my lips and I love it! She was very attentive to make sure I wasn't in pain and took her time to re-apply topical anesthetic several times during my 2.5 hour session. To add, I get a lot of compliments on my brows and lips. read more

This is how my experience went with Kamryn. One of her students brought me in to be a model for powder ombré brows. Her student was not ready to do eyebrows yet so naturally I went to her. (Of course, when you're a model, you get discounted, which she said on Yelp.) I only booked with her on her Instagram account, where she does not have any policies on her page, nor did she tell me about them in the conversation. I notified her and asked if I could reschedule my appointment and that I was not able to make it. She had zero patience as well as a lack of understanding. I tried to make up for my mistake and proceeded to be unprofessional when I asked to reschedule. She said I'm trying to slander her 5-star business because of my review on Yelp and my post of our conversation on social media, which she laughed at. Clearly, she cannot take any criticism about her business; you should listen to your reviews and fix your mistakes rather than be petty. Unfortunately, people are going to leave reviews and talk about what happened in their experience with the business. I feel like I'm talking to an amateur; you should have a way to protect your business and your time. Once again, I'm just stating my experience with Kamryn. read more

Having to choose an artist to do a semi-permanent tattoo on your face is very stressful. After all, it is your face! I've been watching several artists on IG for quite some time and finally decided to go with Kamryn at Hawaii Brow Studio. Kamryn is very knowledgable in her craft and was able to explain exactly what she was doing to me with reasoning behind it. Communication is key which helped ease my anxiety and led to trusting her. Her studio establishment is very clean and neat with easy access to parking. The services I received from her were Ombré for my brows to cover and reshape an old brow tattoo and lip blush. After my session, Kamryn gave me a little post card sized timeline of what to expect during the healing process. I taped it on my bathroom mirror and was able to use it as a reference which was very helpful. It's been almost one month since my sessions and my brows and lips look amazing! Kamryn is super sweet and I loved hearing about her journey of how she became a local business owner - she's very inspiring! So, if you're worried about choosing a talented artist, LOOK NO FURTHER.... YOU FOUND HER!! read more

Kamryn is an incredible trainer! Gosh where do I start ? I took her 1-on-1 ombre brows course and she was extremely thorough and REALLY made sure that I could confidently do the technique. She not only cares that you can perform the technique to her highest standards but she makes sure that you can make an efficient business. There are not a lot of people that really guide you AFTER the training is done so this was a big highlight for me. She lets me shadow her other clients and makes me feel so comfortable to ask all the questions I want (and boy do I ask a lot of questions). She constantly gives me advice on how to advance my technique and is overall just such a fun and enthusiastic person to be around. She also went above and beyond and made a custom course for me since I was already somewhat experienced and I got to work on FOUR models for a really fair price. If you're not familiar with the industry, this is literally unheard of. I can't recommend her services and course enough. read more

Just got my brows microbladed for the first time! I'm not very good with makeup but I checked out Kamryn's Instagram and her artistry is beautiful. For any other newbies: yes, you do feel it. It's not painful but you can feel the pulsating vibrations. I also felt a burning & cooling sensation between wipes. It's been 7 hours and it's still sensitive. I followed the after-care instructions and I'm looking forward to seeing how they heal. Best decision to overcome my lack of eyebrow makeup skills! You will look like an Angry Bird the next few days. read more

I got my eyebrows microbladed a few weeks ago with Kamryn and had a wonderful experience with her! She was so nice and friendly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. She answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns, even after my appointment throughout the healing phase. I was intimidated by my brows at first because they were dark and thick, but once they healed I fell in love! There are still some spots that need some extra attention (which is completely normal after the first time) but I will get those fixed when I go in for my touch up in a few months. It's so nice to have brows that are full and fit my face, and it makes getting ready so much less effort :) read more
