Booked a 12:30pm appointment Saturday, September 5th. Waited almost 20 minutes until someone finally interacted with me and told me to head upstairs. As a business they should honor a booking or at the very least apologize for the wait. I let the tech (Helen) know that I'm now kind of in a rush since they took me later than my appointment time. Im not sure if things were lost in translation, but she took many pauses to converse and laugh with her coworker throughout the appointment. Even if I weren't in a rush, that is very unprofessional. The main reason I'm writing this review is because of the end result. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think a gel x set should look a week old, right after getting them done. Helen placed the nails a significant amount away from my cuticles. She still put in the work, I still tipped her well for the services, but I was not impressed. I plan on giving this salon another chance because it was really great at first. I just hope they can be a little bit more cognizant about booking times and all their customers.

I just went in for my 6-8 week eyebrow touch-up a few days ago. It was really quick! Almost like…read morecatching up with an old friend. We talked some story while she did my brows and BOOM, was pau. I'm updating on the healing process after the first round of ombre powder brows over previous work (ombre powder and microblading by other artists). I followed the procedures given to me by Jee. LOVED that she texted them to me along with care cards included in my aftercare package. I used ice packs, that helped with the swelling and sunburn sensation a lot. My skin type is oily and with the previous artist that did ombre powder brows, a lot of the ink fell out quickly within months. So to help with ink retention we did the aftercare a bit differently. After a while the normal healing process happened. This includes flaking, peeling and itching. This lasted about 4 weeks for me until the final scab fell off. Then the brows appeared lighter for a while because new skin was growing under the scabs. Then finally the color came back. I asked for more dramatic make-up looking brows instead of natural ones because I was afraid of them fading again so fast. And she did not disappoint! When you schedule for the service, she will have you fill out an online questionnaire asking if you have any medical issues and also previous work done on your eyebrows. Once you have been contacted and approved for the ombré brows service, she will text you specific instructions weeks before and also for the day of your appointment. She works out of her residence.
