Booked a 12:30pm appointment Saturday, September 5th. Waited almost 20 minutes until someone finally interacted with me and told me to head upstairs. As a business they should honor a booking or at the very least apologize for the wait. I let the tech (Helen) know that I'm now kind of in a rush since they took me later than my appointment time. Im not sure if things were lost in translation, but she took many pauses to converse and laugh with her coworker throughout the appointment. Even if I weren't in a rush, that is very unprofessional. The main reason I'm writing this review is because of the end result. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think a gel x set should look a week old, right after getting them done. Helen placed the nails a significant amount away from my cuticles. She still put in the work, I still tipped her well for the services, but I was not impressed. I plan on giving this salon another chance because it was really great at first. I just hope they can be a little bit more cognizant about booking times and all their customers.

We talked some story while she did my brows and BOOM, was pau. I'm updating on the healing process after the first round of ombre powder brows over previous work (ombre powder and microblading by other artists). I followed the procedures given to me by Jee. LOVED that she texted them to me along with care cards included in my aftercare package. I used ice packs, that helped with the swelling and sunburn sensation a lot. My skin type is oily and with the previous artist that did ombre powder brows, a lot of the ink fell out quickly within months. So to help with ink retention we did the aftercare a bit differently. After a while the normal healing process happened. This includes flaking, peeling and itching. This lasted about 4 weeks for me until the final scab fell off. Then the brows appeared lighter for a while because new skin was growing under the scabs. Then finally the color came back. I asked for more dramatic make-up looking brows instead of natural ones because I was afraid of them fading again so fast. And she did not disappoint! I did not need to do anything make-up wise for my brows, easily saved 10 minutes LOL. And I had eyebrows! What? ;D Again, check out her instagram or website if you're interested! APPOINTMENTS ONLY! NO WALK-INS! You won't be disappointed. https://instagram.com/browsbyjeeyonceslay?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= and https://www.browsbyjeeyonceslay.com/

She is very knowledgeable and knows what works. She did wonders with my eyeliner, also adding a wing at the ends to enhance my eyes. I never realized it would make such a big difference! I love it! She also noticed that my eyebrows were done too "low" towards the inner ends by my nose area. Plus she said that it was too dark for my skin tone as well. My eyebrows were done 3 years ago during the pandemic, and I was wondering why I didn't get as many compliments as I expected at that time. Suzie looked at me and immediately said that my eyebrows made me look a bit angry or bothered. I asked her if she could "fix it" and she said "yes, I can". She was able to make the time for me to laser off the inner part of my eyebrows and tattooed over it with a lighter shade. This was my first appointment with Suzie, 2 services back-to-back at the same time. She said she was fortunate that she didn't schedule another client ahead of me so she was able to take her time. That was 2 months ago. I have gone for my retouches already on both my eyeliner and eyebrows and they are fully healed. They both look amazing!
