I love my brows that she did! I need color correction from my old microbladed brows. Michelle is wonderful and very talented! I am very picky and detailed oriented. She listened and I am so happy with her work and customer service. I highly recommend!! read more

I'd been curious about getting my eyebrows done for a long time but was hesitant because I use tretinoin and had seen so many regret/removal videos. A friend of mine had hers done a few years ago and said it was one of the best things she's ever done, which finally convinced me to go for it. I found Beauty Babe by Michele on Yelp, and her all five-star reviews immediately stood out. Even so, it still took me a few months to make the appointment (it's hard to pause tretinoin!), but I'm SO glad I did. Michele is exactly as everyone says--sweet, humble, and incredibly talented. She took her time during both the initial procedure and the follow-up, listened carefully, and made adjustments until everything was perfect. I honestly couldn't be happier with my brows. I still use tretinoin, and even if my brows fade a bit faster, I'm totally fine coming back for touch-ups. Her pricing is very reasonable for the quality of her work. Highly recommend Michele--you won't regret it! read more

I saw Michele to get my brows done. I LOVE MY BROWS! Since the healing process was complete I have not needed to fill in my brow at all! Before, I had to draw in my brow everyday now I don't have to. The brow color and shape are perfect and Michele took the time to make sure I loved my brows. My 1st appointment was on a Saturday morning so parking wasn't an issue but my 2nd appointment was on Friday at 5pm and parking was more of an issue. I am going to go back to do my lips. read more

Thank goodness for the Yelp app, which helped me find this stellar business listing, Beauty Babe. I was impressed with the owner's (Michele Malek) experience, photo gallery, response time, service offerings, and convenient location. Since leaving the workforce over ten years ago, I imagined waking up, rolling out of bed, not doing my make-up (although I minimally used eye and lip cosmetics due to the nature of my job), and looking decent. However, about seven years ago, I decided to try microblading my thinning and shortening eyebrows, and my husband lovingly teased me about having Rottweiler eyebrows. The painless semi-permanent microbladed eyebrows usually lasted two to three years, with proper annual to no maintenance. I was set for a maintenance appointment when I suddenly discovered that my usual artist had retired. I was left in a lurch because I planned to get the maintenance done before traveling domestically and abroad from late last year. I contacted Beauty Babe to inquire about her microblading and ombré powder tattooing services, appointment availability, and cost. Michele's friendliness and reassurance for assistance came through her voice. She also described the difference between microblading and ombré powder eyebrows, and I quickly agreed to book an appointment to see for myself. On the appointment day, Michele sent me a message regarding directions, parking lot availability, and security in her salon. I didn't take any interior photos for privacy because there were other clients and artists, even though the salon had privacy partitions and separate rooms for tattooing. After measuring my eyebrows, Michele applied makeup to my faded eyebrows to show me the difference between the microblading and ombré powder techniques. My only concern was having my eyebrows look natural and not dramatic. She did a few tweaks, which enhanced the shape, applied the topical anesthetic, and then did her magic. Within a couple of hours, I emerged from the salon with perfect and natural-looking eyebrows or, as they say, "eyebrows on fleek." She gave me an After Care package with instructions, mild liquid soap, tissues, a small tube of Vitamin A&D ointment, and yummy Ferrero Rocher candies. I look forward to an initial touch-up appointment within the next six to eight weeks, just before I'll be "on the road" again. Michele's excellent artistry has saved me time and made looking decent after waking up in the mornings even more enjoyable. read more

OUTSTANDING in every way! Michele is a master at her craft. She was not only a welcoming presence, but as a professional, she was patient and kind and understanding to what my preferences were. She was thorough with previsit instructions, and post care directions. She even provided the cutest goodie bag with post care necessities! Since this was my first time getting any permanent makeup done, she was kind enough to provide a visual comparison of the variety of different techniques available to me as each one looks completely different from the next person. Her pricing was beyond fair and reasonable and her studio was such a beautiful and cozy experience. I can't wait for my touch ups already. Thank you Michele! read more

Michele is absolutely amazing and so very professional. At 73 years, I needed to have my eye brows enhanced BUT I didn't want them to look fake. Michele paid so much attention to detail that my eye brows look so natural. The process was painless. We had such a wonderful time and I highly recommend Michele as she is just the BEST. read more

Michele was wonderful! She helped me find the most suitable look for my eyebrows. I've had my eyebrows done twice (by other people) previous to her and so she was touching up other peoples work. She was able to balance my uneven eyebrows , fill in where I needed touch ups and provide me fuller and natural looking eyebrows. I love the time she took to make sure I was happy, and she drew different eyebrow styles and colors to make sure I was going to get the exact look I wanted. Michele is professional and excellent at what she does. I'm very happy with her services and I will be a returning customer! read more

I can't say enough positive things about this business!!! I did the first micro blading appointment with another business about 5 years ago and it was such an awful experience I just avoided going back . I finally got up the courage to do it again and everything about this was smooth easy and she did a fantastic job! I felt comfortable and pain free the ENTIRE time and even though I needed to use the restroom... and a charger.. and i needed water... I was accommodated so pleasantly the whole time . I would 100% recommend this business to anyone looking for.a seamless, convenient pleasant permanent makeup experience. The price was very reasonable too and I was able to snag a same day appointment! Try this business, you will not be disappointed!! read more

Michele was super awesome! This was my first time getting any permanent make-up done and I had a lot of questions. Michele patiently answered them all with expertise. Parking was great with lots of stalls and it was free. Inside it was clean with cute decor. Michele even had a comfy little blanket to use while getting my eyebrows and eyeliner done. Beauty Babe - Day 2 after getting my eyebrows, eyeliner and lower eyeliner done. - Permanent Makeup Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I had a touch up and again Michele did an excellent job. She truly is a perfectionist

After making an appointment online and filling out forms online, we texted final details. She always responded quickly. I was a bit leery when I arrived at her walk up building which is on Sheridan St. There is parking in front of the building. There are Korean bars on the bottom floor and a homeless man blocking one stairway. Fortunately, there was another staircase on the other side. Upon entering her studio , I was pleasantly stunned by the spacious, clean and attractive white, gray and pink surroundings. Everywhere is beautifully appointed. Michelle is a seasoned, friendly and talented artist. After a brief discussion of my needs and concerns, she quickly began to draw my eyebrows giving me an idea of shape and color. It was just as I wanted, and I left with a perfect pair of eyebrows. She included the postcare instructions with antibacterial soap and ointment along with tissues and wipes in a nice gift bag. She even included chocolates! Michelle is amazing!! I'm doing another procedure with her. Definitely recommend her. read more

Let me just start by saying - I DO NOT have any other tattoos on my body. My gateway tattoo was tattoo eyeliner. I know - for someone who doesn't have any tattoo experience - why would I start with my eyes??? I was nervous - for obvious reasons - but Michele quickly put me at ease. Her salon was very clean, tidy, and professional. She explained the entire process to me before starting and told me about each numbing agent she would be using. When it finally came to the tattooing part (yes I tried to stay very still!) - it felt like a nice little scratch - like a satisfying back scratch. No pain. When I could tell the numbing was wearing off I just let her know and she applied more. She was very patient and accommodating to my pain tolerance. The entire process took about 3-3.5 hours for my initial session. Afterwards Michele also texts you a reminder on how to care for your new tattoo. I am in love with the final product and am thinking about going back for my eyebrows! Tip: Wear leggings and maybe a sweatshirt and socks. It gets cold in there. But Michele does also have a blanket for your use. Also all Covid protocols were followed. read more

Just got my eyeliner done by Michelle the other day and WOW. Great communication, gave me exact directions on how to find the place, super understanding because I was 15 minutes late. I had gotten my eyeliner done previously by someone else and she was by far the most gentle person, making sure I was numbed up and not wiping so harshly. Did an amazing job and made herself available after incase I had any questions. read more

This was my second time visiting Michele however for a traditional tattoo. Just when I was thinking about a moon tattoo, she posted pics on her IG which made me think perhaps it was fate that first led me to her for my eyebrow tats. I have always thought tattoos were beautiful and especially when BTS Jimin got his moon tattoo, it made me really want to get one. Not only BTS, I have personal memories of the moon and thought it would be cool to get one. It was a tough decision to make because this would be my first tattoo and didn't want it just because. But after months of pondering and researching, I finally decided to get one. Booking with Michele is always easy. I also sent her some pics. On the day of my appointment, she sent me a sketch of what it would look like. I am sooo glad she did because apparently due to some miscommunication, the moon was facing the wrong way. I wanted my birth crescent moon phase inspired by Jimin's tattoo. By the time I got to my appointment, she already had a sketch and in 3 different sizes! She placed the stencil to see if I liked the positioning and size. Once that was done, she explained every step along the way and knowing she did an awesome eyebrow job previously, I trusted her from the very beginning. Sure enough, she did her magic and I now have a beautiful crescent moon. Like her eyebrow appointments, she gave me a cute aftercare trinket. As always her detailed-oriented work, comfort and trustworthiness made me go back to her. Thank you again Michele, I Iove it! read more

I've debated wether or not to get microblading done for a couple years now. I'm not so sure why I hesitated in the beginning, but I decided to finally do it as a "mommy treat" to myself. I came across Michele's Instagram and decided to book with her. From scheduling my appointment to answering any questions I had, it was extremely easy to communicate with her. I'm glad I booked with Michele for my microblading and powder ombre combo. She's super friendly and personable. She listens to what you really want. I wanted my brows to still look natural and low maintenance. That's exactly what she gave me. She's a perfectionist. She really takes her time to make sure you walk out of her studio happy and feeling glamorous with your new brows. Hands down, I'd recommend her to any one who is considering microblading or powder ombre. Mahalos, Michele! read more

I have commitment issues (lol) so it took awhile for me to get the courage to finally decide to tattoo my eyebrows. SO DAMN GLAD I DID!!!! Michele is amazing! She made me feel extremely comfortable the entire time. The service was about 3 hours so patience is a virtue in this instance, but the Beauty Babe salon has smooth tunes to keep you calm while you trust the process. She is careful and clean, so it's not hard to stay calm while your snuggled under a soft blanket. Believe it or not, I felt pretty relaxed despite my face being tattooed! The pic is from right after the session. With the cutest aftercare kit, my healing period went beautifully and I've saved so much time now that I don't have to do my brows! Seeing her for my touch up soon and likely getting eyeliner done through her too! If you've been thinking about it, this is your sign to give in and do it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND :o) read more

Recently went for my touch up and just love the look of my powder brows. Michele was so sweet, easy to work with and really listened to my concerns and didn't try to push anything on me. I initially asked her to go a little lighter and thinner as I wasn't too sure of the look. But after trying it out, I decided to go darker and a little thicker (as she had initially recommended) and they came out perfectly. Michele made my powder brows look very natural with or without makeup. Just love them and highly recommend going to Michele. read more

This is the first time that I've been to Beauty Babe and Michele was awesome! The Salon is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. There is also lots of parking right downstairs. Michele was very quick to respond to any of my questions. She is very detailed in her work and takes the time to explain everything from beginning to end. Before tattooing she goes into great detail with makeup to show you what it will look like. She does what you want and also gives her opinion which I really appreciated. She takes her time to make sure everything's perfect! After she's done she gives you a 'eyebrow aftercare kit' with instructions on what to do. This kit is very helpful to help it heal with no issues. I highly recommend Beauty Babe if you want permanent eyebrows. I love mine! read more
