Lately, this has been my "go to" gas station since I have become the official errand performer for my elderly parents during the pandemic. This corner station on Watt Ave. and Fair Oaks Blvd. is along our weekly route as I travel back and forth to complete tasks of shopping, banking, postal chores, and other random deliveries. Needless to say, my parents keep me busy! And speaking of busy, the street in which it is located on, gets that way, especially during commuter traffic. But as far as gas stations go, they fit the bill as being a good, solid filling station with convenience store and car wash. Despite it's location, it was nice to have plenty of space to maneuver around the pumps with little stress of having to wait ones turn. And best of all - the gas is cheaper than other nearby stations! Writing reviews about a gas station is not likely to be read by most people who are only searching for a nearby station and not particularly interested in individual experiences. But as a loyal Yelper, I always feel compelled to write something about a business that I patronize. read more

This 76 is nothing to go out of your way for, but it's a better option than the Chevron and more convenient, for those heading to the freeway. I've stopped in a handful of times and never had an issue, which is now the standard I use for rating my gas stations. Overall, they keep the station clean, the pumps are fast and in good working order and the store itself is large and stocked with all the goodies. I've gotten many a snack here. The gas prices aren't the best or the worst...somewhere in the middle and competitive if you choose to pay cash vs. a card that comes with a charge. As an added bonus, they have a well-functioning drive-thru car wash. Expect heavy traffic and even a wait for the pumps at high traffic times. That's typical of all the gas stations on this intersection. read more

Blong. Blong. Blong. No, that's not a product or service. It's the name of the employee who makes a business shine. I'm here 3-4 days a week while going to work, so it's the perfect one-stop place to get gas, buy food/drink, and a car wash. What makes this place different than the umpteen other gas stations around? Blong. He is one of those people who truly makes you feel special, and he has such a positive, helpful attitude towards every single customer. Personally, I couldn't imagine being happy working at a gas station, but this guy exudes motivation, and every customer is made to feel welcome. On the rare days he's not there, the other employees have always been great (wish I could remember their names). This dude needs to be cloned. Seriously. A credit to this business. read more

I can't believe I'm reviewing a gas station but here goes. I used to love this particular 76 back in the day. Gas prices were decent, friendly staff, good car wash. Well, my love has ended for 76 on Watt and Fair Oaks. Today, I went to this location to get gas and a car wash. Right off the bat, the cashier was incredibly rude for no reason. Seriously. I'm super nice to retail employees because I used to work retail. I know how nasty customers can be for no good reason. The cashier was incredibly short with me and was talking to me like I was an idiot. Again, I cut the guy some slack when he was snippy with me the first time, but then he was rude two more times! Whatever man. Have fun working at a gas station for the rest of your life. read more

I didn't think this 76 was the most awful ever. It's in a four gas station corner with Chevron and Shell and it's got the cheapest price for regular so whenever we drive a car that does not require super premium fuel, this is the best place to fill up. It's convenient, right off the intersection, and there isn't a whole lot of traffic back up or anything to make it not worth your time. I did notice that there wasn't anything to clean windows with but there were paper towels, so we didn't really mind. The convenience store is big, and the staff seemed friendly although we did not buy anything. read more

I love coming to this gas station. It's always clean, everyone is friendly and they offer kick back points! What's a kickback point? For every $1 you spend, you get one cent credited to your account, so when you get enough money credited to your account, you can use it just like real cash. It's awesome for those who drive a lot and need to fuel up often cause them you'll get enough points to get free snacks for your trips! Bad attitude from a fairly new employee, I'll never go back and neither should you! I've been coming to this station for nearly 20 years, but today will absolutely be my last visit. I stopped in on my way home to grab a pack of cigarettes, and since it's nearly 100 degrees outside and I had my little 4 pound Chihuahua with me, I put her under my arm and walked in with her. I've brought her in MANY times over the years, always when it's hot out and I refuse to leave her in the car to suffer. I got in line and waited about 5 minutes to get to the front. As soon as I got up front, this nasty little girl with an obnoxiously squeaky voice and a varmint's nest for hair told me, "I'm sorry sir, but you can't have your dog in here." I replied, "You want me to leave her in the car on a hot day like this. She replied, "It's because we have food here." Stunned by her idiocy, I told her she just them a lifelong customer. She replied, "Well I'm sorry about that, have a great day!" Seriously, what a nasty woman! I've been bringing my little friend in there for years and no one has ever say anything. She stays tucked under my arm, it's not like she's running around the store or anything. Furthermore, the excuse about "because we have food here" is complete idiocy, every grocery store I shop in not only allows her in, but they all shower her with love when I stop by with her. I would hardly imagine that if a full on grocery store welcomes my friend, a scuzzy gas station that carries day old coffee, beef jerky, and candy bars would have anything to worry about. Either way, they lost a good customer, I'll gladly take my money elsewhere. The fact that the woman let me stand in line 5 minutes before kicking me out was a bit over the top, she purposely wasted my time. Furthermore, even if that is policy which I high doubt it is, you'd think she would at least have the courtesy to take my business and kindly ask me not to bring in the dog next time. The owners should get rid of that girl ASAP, I highly doubt her sorry butt is worth chasing good customers away. read more

Clean station with well sized store, and lot, located conveniently on the corner of Fair oaks and watt ave. Competitive gas prices if your paying with cash... don't make the mistake of assuming your debit card counts as cash. I would have given 5 stars if so. read more

This review is for the car wash. It barely rinsed my car so by the time the dryer started I had green soapy water still on my car. As I pulled out I noticed that it didn't do a good job on my back window. When I got home to check the window I saw it barely even cleaned the roof of my car and I had dirt and dust streaks still on my car. What a waste of money. read more

I am 34 weeks pregnant and I locked my keys, phone and purse in my car. Unfortunately it locks automatically. I went into the gas station and Angelee let me use a phone to call for help, but no one was able to. She paid for an Uber to take me to my house to get the spare key. She refused to let me pay her back. I just want her to know she is greatly appreciated. It's nice to know there are still kind hearted people in the world. Thank you so much!!! read more

My review is in regards to the people working here. I recently had a very bad biking accident right outside of their store after someone pulling out cut me off. I had my small dog with me on the back of my bike, and my bike itself. My leg from my thigh to my ankle was road-rash heaven so I went inside this 76 station in hopes to use the restroom to clean up and then get myself home. As soon as I entered the store, the girl at the front told me that I would need to leave my bike and dog outside. As she could only see my good side, I turned and explained I had just had a very bad fall and just needed to use the restroom, I couldn't leave my bike or small dog outside alone. She again said that I needed to leave them outside. I asked, can I please just use your restroom for a moment, I just had a bad fall. She again said no, I needed to leave them outside. One of the other clerks tried to be kind and got me paper towels and offered me a bandaid (not at all helpful but he did try). While I understand policies against animals and bikes in the store, the lack of compassion and empathy was appalling. My entire leg was chewed up and this woman only cared about her store policies. Neither clerk offered to hold my bike or dog for me while I used the restroom and I was not about to leave either outside unattended. It is very sad when people who have the opportunity to help others in need, do nothing. read more

I've had people be rude there but nothing like what happened tonight. I am not trash nor am I poor. I dont want to get into it. He probably hates his life. He is a heavy set guy with blond balding hair. I didnt study him tho so I might be wrong. I hope he sees this. He was working at night tonight. Saturday. If you read this, stop judging people, second, customer service is valued and you should value yourself enough to care. I'm a manager at a restaurant and I care if I do a good job. I want to make a postivie impact on peoples days. As I except everyone else to be. Its just plain respectful and nice. Imagine putting a smile on someones face. Doing that will make you smile.
