There is a 45¢ fee added so you can buy gas. So you have to pay them to buy from them. If that's not a scam I don't know what it is.

"My Personal Gas Station" SITREP Hahahahahahahahaha! I just feel funny saying that: "My Personal Gas Station." But for whatever factors of the universe that conspired and made THIS station the closest one to my condo, it is in fact THE gas station I use the most since it is the one closes to me. So there you go. SETUP But as far as gas stations go, this is not a bad deal and here's why: * Usually the cheapest UNLEADED (verified by both my own eye and by checking with my iPhone app "Gas Buddy") within a 5 mile radius. [In fact, usually the only stations less expensive than this are (1) the Airport's Arco AM/PM; or the best if you have a membership (2) Any of the Costco gas stations. I will also put in a shout-out to the Safeway gas station in Folsom (for someone who lives there), but I myself ain't gonna drive 12 miles to save on 3 cents a gallon on gas.] * Great selections of cold sodas - not often that you find a set-up that sells the 12 ounce cans, the 16-ounce bottles, the 24-ounce bottles, the 1 Liter Grand Slams and the 2 Liter bottles. All 5 standard sizes available! Both Coke & Pepsi produts! I love it! ONE DOWNSIDE I don't like places that charge an extra surcharge for using your debit card. Minus one-star on principle, even though I can still use the same card as a credit card which merits no additional surcharge. THE LOWDOWN A decent gas and munchie stop for me whether I am on my way out of town, or just getting some munchie-provisions for home. read more

Running frighteningly low on fuel, I was in the area and needed this first station in site. That station was Mobil, and thank you for that. The gas was a good ten cents cheaper than the spots I frequent further down Folsom, the guy running the counter was nice and seemed to actually care about keeping the place clean and the pumps were fast, functioning and well lit. It's not a lot to ask for but it's a basic standard so many other gas stations just can't match. I'll remember this place the next time I need a fill up. read more

Valero is conveniently located and priced below its fellow competitors. The employees who are there are really kind and greet you as you walk in and even take the time to make conversation with you. I've always been treated well here and have been a loyal customer for a few years now. There's a recycle center in the parking lot as well. I'm not sure of their hours, but take your cans and bottles here! The location is right across the street from the light rail station so you sometimes get some pretty interesting folk that come through. The most interesting experiences I've had here include: the homeless man threatening a guy on a bicycle, then threatening the dumpster, and then the bicycle guy fighting with him. Also, the angry woman who did not have her morning coffee (my best guess) and yelled at me for having an offending license plate frame. That's a first for me. They also sell blue mountain dew here! read more

I really hate to not like this place, as the employees are so friendly. But the place is littered with shady people offering to fix my window cracks as well as a ton of people dropping off recycling to then go and buy something at the liquor store next door. I could live with that if it wasn't for the fact that the pumps make me go inside at random "Please see cashier" if I use my credit card, which never happens elsewhere. Go in, wait, say "full please", leave card behind, pump gas, go back in, navigate bum slalom course again, wait, sign a receipt, go back out, tell shady guy I don't want my window fixed again, etc. Makes any other place a real time saver. read more

Owner is rude and unprofessional, dealt with him the first time and was appauled by his rudeness. Only came here a second time because I was in desperate need of gas and it was closest. Attendant was fine but told me if I paid with "dirty money" again they'd refuse service (I paid with change and some bills and he asked me to clean them first. Like omg are you serious?!) Will not be back. Horrible. read more

Stay away from this place. I went there one day to pump gas. I then went inside the store to look for a specific drink. After I didn't find what I wanted, I walked outside back to my car. The employee stopped me at the door and insisted on looking inside my purse. I told him that he didn't have what I was looking for and he accused me of stealing something from him. He then followed me outside while screaming at me in front of other customers. He then proceeded to grab me by the shoulder and yanked my purse off. He looked inside, saw there was nothing and threw my purse back at me. A full police report as been filed. Be careful if you ever go here or just avoid it altogether. read more

Huge clean store with so many options to choose from. They even have last minute things that you always forget to pick up from baby food to sunglasses, pets and much more. Oh and the customer service is outstanding no matter what time of the day or night it is they're always smiling and laughing. Good job guys!! read more

My favorite local gas station! Employees are super friendly and helpful. Never thought to expect great customer service from a gas station but here I am. :) Prices are really reasonable for everything. Gas is always the cheapest here too. They used to be a Valero but now a Mobil. Really nice remodel! I'll continue coming here as long as I'm in the area. Tip: if you go here enough, they will remember you by name which is awesome! read more
