This is a very nice 711. It's relatively new, so it hasn't had a chance to get "worn in" yet. It has a good number of pumps on the gas bays, the gas prices are very reasonable often very comparable to Costco, which is just a block to the north. I wouldn't be surprised if they keep their gas prices close to Costco's, so that they can compete. The store is very nice. The people were friendly, and it is very clean. It's what you would find in a typical 7-11, food, sodas, beer, sundries, etc.... And don't forget to pick up a Slurpee. It has a decent hot food section, and it also has a fast casual chicken place called "raise the roost." I was not fond of the food from there.... (she separate review...) New, big, luxury gas station in Rancho Cordova. Convenience store, gas station and Raise the Roost all in one. This is as exciting as gas stations get. Offering regular and diesel #2 at great prices as well as anything else a traveler might need. Everything is super clean and inviting - if your in the area be sure and drop by. Receipt printed at the pump and $4.46/$4.75/$4.95 a very ok deal. I'm not sure of quality but my car went through the tank happily. I was so impressed with their huge parking lot. Beautifully landscaped and so many parking spaces you would have trouble choosing one. Stone Creek water tower in the distance as a landmark this station will be easy to find. read more

Okay. This is close to where I live and I just stopped in to see what's it about. First, the inside layout is awesome. Love the sit down area, the many choices of beverages, and Slurpee's. Second, the people were very nice at the counter. The exception was the person making the chicken food. Finally, the chicken food. I think it has potential to be really really awesome IF they can have someone working who is pleasant and can cook the food so it's hot and fresh and not reheated then cold. That is what I got. The portions are good and the chicken itself is good. Just would have been better if hot. I will stop in for lotto and a Slurpee. Maybe their chicken if improvements are made. read more

Went to the new 7-Eleven in Rancho today (next to Costco) , which opened last week, and was wowed by the huge, clean, sparkling interior and customer service. We were greeted immediately upon walking in. The employees were all super friendly. They have isles of ready to eat hot snacks like taquitos, hot dogs, and nachos, along with bagged snacks, drinks, slurpees, freshly made donuts, muffins, and cookies, and even an in-store fried chicken restaurant called Raise The Roost. Juast ordered from raise the roost as it was added on my grub hub. This part quick because the rest isn't... the Mac n cheese. Good..the mashed potatos and gravy good ...the special sauce good..now the chicken I went. All in and got a 4 pc and it arrived piping hot crispy and great texture but I'm hoping this next part is a once off instance CHANGE or CLEAN your oil. I worked in restaurants for 16 year 10 of em behind a grill and frier...and that's the issue other then that I can tell this place is bad ass. portions are great for the price I will be revisiting in about a months time maybe in person just I live not to far I can even tell the chicken is seasoned well but the bitter lingering taste of "eh cared for" leaves a bit to be desired when that's the main shows cook method.....also checking out this bacon ranch chicken sandwich to see if there's any difference (maybe tenders cook in a different vat was my thinking) and although less noticeable due to condiments I can still taste abused oil lol Look forward to trying again read more

I own a business almost directly across the street from this new 7-11 Today I rode my bike into work and stopped in to grab a Gatorade before going into my office. I carefully set my bike against the trash can inside the door. As soon as I did this the only other person in the store Téha started yelling and me and outwardly being rude. Telling me to take my bike outside I let her know that would not happen and I'll be grabbing my things quickly and after paying her I'll be gone. Before I could grab the goods she told me not too come back! Great way to build customer reputation than to tell your local neighbors not to come back when there trying to spend money with you!! read more

So so disappointed in this place. Originally from the east coast, it's located inside 7-11 and I saw good things about its chicken. Sad to say the hype was a big let down. Only food I've ever experienced good coming out a gas station was tacos at a random spot couple years back I'd go back to that spot if it was here close to me. A order of 12 tenders, no sides and 2 chicken sandwiches will set you back about $52. I made it home from the time my order was done in 6 minutes and let me say it was not hot at all temperature wise. Chicken was very dry. Sandwich was ok due to it having soft bun and sauce but not worth it to me. I'm not sure how chicken is done on the east coasts but this don't cut it here in the West. West knows best. Cutting my ties now and just keep this spot in my rear view mirror. Don't recommend this spot. read more

Got the 6 wing combo. They mistaken me for a plain 6 piece which was 6 bucks. Waited like 20 minutes and told the nice lady I wanted the combo. She said no problem and she hooked me up for free. Not sure why the hold up but they apologized for the delay. When I got to eating my meal I must say the wings were huge. Much bigger than Wing Stop or Fire Wings any day of the week. Also super crunchy and tasty. Kind of slow for fast food but the value was there. Also free sauces. read more

This review is mainly for Raise the Roost. Couldn't find a spot to review them so I guess it's should be here. Anyway, we didn't even know there was new chicken place until neighbors mentioned it so we tried it out. It's inside the new 7-11. I believe it's a new franchise from the east coast? It's kfc/Popeyes type of place with fried chicken and sandwiches. Anyhow, the chicken was just alright. It's double battered? It makes the chicken extra crispy and almost hard. Surprisingly, the breast meat was juicy which was a plus. The seasoning is okay and not too salty or mild. Overall, it reminded us of the ones you buy from the grocery hot food area, which isn't saying much. The biscuits were the best. They're huge and chewy. The price is pretty high though. We got the family meal and it costed much more than Popeyes. A bit overpriced in my opinion. The cashier also didn't help with our orders. He didn't know anything that we asked him like about flavors substitutions and sauces. He just said "I think so," "probably not." At the end you get a receipt and pay at the 7-11 cashier. I guess it's part of 7-11? As for the rest of the store, it was nice and clean. Lots of options for coffee, drinks and breakfast type food. Most of it was out because we went in the evening. The workers were okay. Said hellos and byes. It's much better than the ones in the ghettos which is where these gas stations seem to be located.
