I've bought gas from this location on multiple occasions since I live close by. Today, the pump machine told me I needed to see the cashier in order to use my credit card. I normally use the app, but they just switched to a new app so that wasn't working. The problem was there was no cashier available at 3:45pm. The person who was working at the station told me to park at another pump so they could help me, but the same error occurred and they weren't able to assist me at all. I don't use my ATM card at gas stations because of skimming. I asked the employee if they could take a $50 bill or any other cash denominations and they said no. I came here one night when I was super low on gas, even though their prices are always higher than other stations in the area. But when you need gas, you need gas. There was something wrong with the pump and it wasn't working properly. After several attempts, the machine said to see cashier. So, i went inside, put my card up and asked to put $50 on my pump. She didn't even attempt to be helpful or gesture for my card. She just said on the most monotone voice ever "you're card is active". I tried to explain that it wasn't working and it said to see cashier and she just repeated "your card is active". Frustrated by the lack of any customer service, I went out to try again. Both times it said see cashier then right away transaction cancelled, so it seemed like the helpful lady decided to be extra helpful by just canceling every attempt to purchase gas. Awesome. So, I gave up, took a chance and head to the arco about a mile away and luckily made. Used the same card and saved 15 cents a gallon. Avoid this place like the plague. Don't waste your money or worry about horrible customer service. read more

All the bad reviews of this place are spot on. The only reason I come here is for convenience, but the pumps are poorly designed and hardly ever maintained. I told an attendant Zully that one of the pumps was having issues and she flat out didn't believe me. Yeah, cuz people have nothing better to do than to make this up right? Never mind her terrible attitude and her threats of my being recorded. Yup, we all know that, not our first time being at a gas station. All any recording would show was her being rude and my calling her out on it. Not that the manager, Angel would do anything about it. Terrible is an understatement. The only reason I come here is because I live close by but I will drive further just to avoid it. The older lady here is rude af and literally yelled at my fiancé for asking her to put the air on because the change machine wasn't working. Another time she gave me an attitude because she didn't want to give me change. Is it really that hard to open the drawer?? Worst part of all is 95% of the time I come here, they're having a so called "shift change". No matter what time of day I come. They are lying because I saw the lady in the back just chilling because she didn't want to be bothered while she is working. The other times the older man is taking his sweet time and ignoring the gathering of people waiting to pay for their gas. It cannot possibly take more than a couple of minutes to do their shift changes but to them, it's more than 30 minutes. Ridiculous! I went to the 76 down the street and the guys there told me they can still help customers during shift change according to company policy so it is proven this location is just using it as an unofficial break time. Today there was once again a "shift change" and the guy eventually came out and was like what do you want to do (rude) and I said just get some gas obviously and he said they were going to be closed for 30 minutes again. They decided to take me but literally mansplained to me how much gas my car could handle. I think I know how much gas MY CAR needs! Then they told me to take back some of my money because they aren't going to give me change. He said you can just pay yourself at the pump. This place is usually the cheapest one in the area but it's most likely because they don't maintain anything. Their air pump has been broken for at least a year. When a gas pump is broken they put a tiny sign on the pump printed in maybe size 24 font. Today I went to get gas and saw the tiny sign so I had to move to another pump which also had a tiny sign. Turns out they were out of all regular gasoline. But no where did they indicate that before you try and go to all available pumps. They still had the price lit up for the 87 gasoline instead of turning it off or crossing it out. It just ends up being a waste of time if you actually need gas or air. Better to skip it and hit up the next 76 station even if it's a tad more expensive. read more

This has station is one of those that usually charges a difference if you use your card vs cash. Today, March 22, I stopped and paid cash for the 89 Plus since the two signs offer $3.04gal (cash) and $3.25gal (card), after giving the clerk my cash I started the pump and it showed $3.10gal. I questioned the clerk and she told me "I don't know what to tell you". Very helpful. I'll try tomorrow to see if the manager is there. It's a small refund, but this is still dishonesty. read more

3.5 stars - initially at night I'd find myself pissed off at other patrons, existentially all "hell is other people" in front of me for being what seemed inconsiderate and not driving forward enough to give me room to pump behind them. Then I realized, "hell is piss poor unintelligent design" (what else is new): the pumps are just poorly designed in terms of distance/spacing - in order to pump, every patron has to be super cognizant of this fact which most are not. Many a time I've had to wait even though a pump is free because the car in front of me is reasonably parked but due to design needs to move much further up so they're stretching the pump more than you would at other stations to allot me enough space to drive up and be able to reach my tank. This applies to the middle islands as the outer islands (which I try to get to if they're not taken) are single pumps so no one else to worry about. So close to pumping if I could drive up just like six inches...but no, I just wait until the car in front is done pumping...it's torture really. I honestly feel like there are fewer triggers for me than unintelligent design because it's inane (yes, I mean inane not insane) it was even manifested into concrete existence. The stars are mainly for the staff who are always very friendly. The gas is decent too; burns slower than most. read more

Filling up gas is pretty straightforward. Swipe card. Fill up. Take receipt. But this place never seems to refill paper for receipts. So I end up waiting in line -- today I was behind someone who couldn't get their lotto ticket barcode to read. It took a really long time, ended up with the cashier coming out to help. Sadly, neither one was able to get the ticket to scan. That took a really long time. Then I finally got to ask for a receipt. That was fun. read more

I frequent this one more cuz it's close to where I live. If you use a 76 card you get 10 cents off per gallon. This place does have a mini mart but it's super mini not that many items. read more

This place always has the cheapest branded gas in town. They however have a small tight lot so avoid during peak commute hours as there are always lines into the street. Best times are weekday mornings or mid-afternoon on the weekends. read more

Extremely RUDE Employee !! Name is ( EVELYN ) When buying cigarettes today 5/15/2019 at 10:31 AM I asked the attendant for 2 boxes of Marlboro Lights. There was a glass partition and asked if I could see the bottom of the pack to check the date code to be sure they were fresh. She snapped- ( DO YOU WANT THEM OR NOT) again, I calmly asked to just see the bottom of the pack real quick . She then shouted ( I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS,I HAVE OTHER THINGS TO DO !).( DO YOU WANT THEM OR NOT !) I then said I could just go down the street and buy them at the 7-11. She then snapped back ( THEN WHY DON'T YOU GO BUY THEM THERE !) Their pricing has gotten low enough to be among the best value for a 76 station in the foothill cities of the SGV. I admit that I still check the Gas Buddy app when I'm out on the field, and will buy elsewhere if the price is lower. Even so, it has been my go-to station more often then not. read more

First i am a mechanic. I brought my car in here to get a smog test done. Failed the first time. Free retest. So i bring it back. It fails again. I figure i need to do some work on it. Finished. Bring it back. Fails again with completely different readings than before. I bring it to a different smog test place. It passes. No problem....
