Great place, feels very homey! The innkeepers were super friendly and polite, remembered our names and made a great breakfast - outstanding.

Came to The Cape for a summer respite and decided glamping was in order for a few nights.. After…read moresome research this was the place I knew I needed to start my vacation , and it was fantastic... We choose to stay in an AIRSTREAM, yes an Airstream! For some reason this seemed fun and it was more than fun... We pulled into the AutoCamp and it's really a really nice property. You'll park your vehicle in a lot and then check in at the lodge. The staff gave us our keys and a map to our airstream. Also filled us in on the entertainment and goings on at facility's. We loaded are gear onto the carts provided so we can move our gear around... Found our camper with ease. Outside our Airstream was table and fire pit should we have wanted to enjoy an evening fireside moment.. Wood was available for sale at the lodge. Inside was a queen sized bed with small tv for viewing. Our shower was great, I mean you're in an airstream yet it was hot and kinda powerful. Now it's summer time so you're gonna need AC or you'll broil in this thing. Yes on the AC and this blew cold air like an attic storm.. My thoughts are you could literally live in one of these if needed should the zombie apocalypse happen. Now the AutoCamp has some other ways to enjoy your trip. You can have a cabin / trailer or for a person whom enjoys a TENT Experience well they have that as well.. Can't say enough positive things about The AutoCamp cause we had a blast. Also note it's super close to the ferry docks so you can travel to Martha's Vineyard for the day. Will come back for another experience I guarantee it...

Comfortable accommodations with ice cold AC for summer cooling and great views of the water from the clubhouse. There are several options for your stay including container home, airstream and tents. All are excellent options. Pet friendly and each abode has its own pit and table outside for camp style dining. No extra fees for pets, which was great. Per night fee was about $400. Overall, loved the location and would certainly come again.

The house was clean, updated, had air conditioning, comfy beds, linens/bath towels provided, laundry on site, fenced backyard, and an outdoor dog kennel for those who need it. TV and wifi were easy to use. Easy to get to Wellfleet beaches and major ponds via backroads. They even offer grocery delivery if booked in advance! Will definitely stay here when we return on the future!

I have never in my life written a 1-star review, but I am doing it now and this is why. I committed…read moreto a Del Mar Vacation over this past summer based on what appeared to be a wonderful property that my family could enjoy. There was some compelling advertising involved that raised our expectations for a wonderful week on Cape Cod. Unfortunately it ended up being nothing like we imagined from the beautiful pictures and well-written ads. This was a week vacation in Yarmouth Port, MA July 18-25. I committed to this based on advertising by Del Mar Vacations referring to a renovated home, a hidden gem, and a 5-star experience. Instead, it turned out to be an expensive nightmare for my family who had arrived from 3 different states based on these inflated descriptions. There were appalling conditions both outside and inside the property. The outside was a mess, and the inside included stained carpets and chairs, ripped screens, one of the apartments emanated strong musty odors, apparent mold and parts of the ceiling noticeably cracked, live insects were found hanging on flypaper in both the kitchen and dining room areas (which was disgusting), and the electrical lights downstairs kept flickering on and off whenever we engaged the A/C. These conditions were evident the moment we walked in, and we called to let Del Mar Vacations know how shocked and disappointed we were. Check-in time was late in the day and Del Mar refused to find us an alternative location. Consequently, we were forced to endure 1 night there. These conditions were eventually acknowledged by both a Del Mar manager and the Director of Hospitality Operations, but despite the fact that we felt strongly and relayed that these conditions were unacceptable, we were left to find another location in the middle of July entirely on our own, and Del Mar eventually insisted on keeping 70% of our fees. I was so disturbed by this treatment that I wrote the CEO of Del Mar, but he never even bothered to get back to me or even acknowledge my letter, and left it to one of his reports to give me the bad news that nothing further would be done. At one point, another manager suggested that Del Mar would refund an additional 20% if I removed my negative review, which seemed in appropriate and unethical to me. On this basis, I cannot recommend Del Mar Vacations to anyone, and I would suggest that whoever is considering a property do a thorough search of the property reviews first, and if possible, view the property before you commit to it. And check to see if all the reviews are there in the first place. I just looked again at the ad for the home I rented, and I'm very curious why that property indicates there were 79 reviews in total, but I find only 50 are available online, all of which are 4- or 5-star reviews. Apparently my review is one of those not included. Buyer Beware. Del Mar's advertising can be misleading and if you have big problems like we had, don't count on getting your money back!

In the time of COVID they have tried to restructure their business model and have worked to be responsive to owners and renters under the most painful of circumstances. They have been faced with so much interruption and they are doing "handstands" to people's needs. We are owners and we feel so great about their staff and they do not outsource! Thank you for being professional, honest, and humane!

The person I spoke…read morewith, Luke Chapman, would not share key information about how the business operates -- sample contract, fee schedule -- which anyone who works with them would need to see. He said they have "no fees" but obviously this's not true. Their fee is whatever they make above the price they "guarantee" you, which might end up being 20% or as high as 75%, who knows. Luke insisted he had to come see my property before he could give me any info about how they operate the business. He wrote me numerous emails where he tried to make a case for why it's OK for him to not share basic information, which made no sense. It would have been much easier for him to send a sample contract than to send me 5 emails to convince me I didn't need to see it. He comes off as extremely shady, so I did not invite him into my property and I suggest you don't either. Unfortunately, property management companies are not required to be licensed in Massachusetts by the state real estate bureau, as they are in other states. Thus, in MA, buyer beware. There's is no guarantee that who you're dealing with isn't shady. Del Mar Vacations reads shady all over.

Martha’s Vineyard - Sail away!

Martha's Vineyard, MA (as Amity Island)…read more When I hear of Martha's Vineyard I only know to associate it to Presidential vacations and retreats but there's so much more charm to it and I want to go back! Edgartown was the first town we visited at Martha's Vineyard. Located on the eastern side of the Island, Edgartown is a quiet, lovely village with a deep history of its New England whaling past... we enjoyed some shopping at local souvenir shops. We had lunch at the Seafood Shanty and stopped by the Ice Cream and Candy Bazaar for some ice cream and chocolates. This is the town where they filmed some of the scenes from Steven Spielberg's 1975 blockbuster "Jaws." The original sign used for Amity National Bank was displayed inside the Edgartown Nat'l Bank. We hopped on the VTA Bus #5 that took us to the Town of Aquinnah. It is the least populous town on the island. Here we were able to view the the multicolored clay cliffs of the Gay Head Cliffs and its surroundings including the Gay Head Lighthouse. That lighthouse was featured in Jaws too. Lastly, we got off the VTA Bus #13 at the Town of Oak Bluffs located at the northeastern shore of the island. This town is contrast to the old world charm of Edgartown and the vast fields at Aquinnah. Oak Bluffs is a vibrant and happening town. We saw the the Flying Horses Carousel but we totally missed the Gingerbread Houses! ... now I want to go back to MV again and see those pastel-colored cottages. Btw, there are no actual vineyards on Martha's Vineyard and the island is only accessible from the mainland via ferry. Review #3034
