Came to The Cape for a summer respite and decided glamping was in order for a few nights.. After some research this was the place I knew I needed to start my vacation , and it was fantastic... We choose to stay in an AIRSTREAM, yes an Airstream! For some reason this seemed fun and it was more than fun... We pulled into the AutoCamp and it's really a really nice property. You'll park your vehicle in a lot and then check in at the lodge. The staff gave us our keys and a map to our airstream. Also filled us in on the entertainment and goings on at facility's. We loaded are gear onto the carts provided so we can move our gear around... Found our camper with ease. Outside our Airstream was table and fire pit should we have wanted to enjoy an evening fireside moment.. Wood was available for sale at the lodge. Inside was a queen sized bed with small tv for viewing. Our shower was great, I mean you're in an airstream yet it was hot and kinda powerful. Now it's summer time so you're gonna need AC or you'll broil in this thing. Yes on the AC and this blew cold air like an attic storm.. My thoughts are you could literally live in one of these if needed should the zombie apocalypse happen. Now the AutoCamp has some other ways to enjoy your trip. You can have a cabin / trailer or for a person whom enjoys a TENT Experience well they have that as well.. Can't say enough positive things about The AutoCamp cause we had a blast. Really great experience! Stayed for a long weekend this summer. I suppose the experience would be classified as "glamping." Stayed in the airstream abode. Comfortable accommodations with ice cold AC for summer cooling and great views of the water from the clubhouse. There are several options for your stay including container home, airstream and tents. All are excellent options. Pet friendly and each abode has its own pit and table outside for camp style dining. No extra fees for pets, which was great. Per night fee was about $400. Glamping... the only type of camping we will do at this age The perfect place for "roughing it" in style was at AutoCamp on Cap Cod. We opted to stay in a classic cabin, but airstreams, and tents are available as well. The classic cabin was spacious and comfortable and well stocked with a small kitchen. We did have an accessible cabin, so our bathroom was a great size as well. The community of AutoCamp is such a vibe. We loved walking through the paths seeing all the different "neighborhoods" we were surrounded by. There is a general store onsite for simple needs. The kitchen also has some great options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The property sits right off the Shining Sea Bikeway. We brought our bikes and hopped on and off the path to go to the beach, lunch and dinner. You can also rent bikes onsite. One of the nights we preordered a meal that we could grill on our fire, everything we needed was provided and it was awesome to have a chill night and be able to cook our own food. The open layout creates great communal spaces for gathering and dining, while still allowing for privacy -- and the view of Buzzards Bay makes it even more special. Morning coffee and evening sunsets there are hard to beat. The tiny house-style accommodations and Airstreams add a unique charm that makes the stay feel special rather than typical. Everything was spotless and well cared for. You can tell they take pride in maintaining the grounds and units. Pros: We went right after memorial day so we didn't pay an overpriced stay. They provide wagons that you can use to move your luggage from the car to the airstream more easily. The clubhouse has different activities on different days and they write them down on the blackboard. They also offer plenty of boardgames that you can borrow at the front. Coffee and granola is provided in the morning as well. The airstream has plates, cups, cutting boards, kettle, forks and knives. The toiletries they provide are of ok quality in comparison with the getaway cabin. There's also a bike trail that goes to different beaches in the area. Cons: there is a minimum of days that you need to stay in order to book... We felt like the airstreams were too close to each other. If we had gone during memorial day weekend, we probably would have regretted it, as it feels like there's a lack of privacy. It didn't feel like a getaway. There was nature but I feel like there should have been more trees as this is a "glamping" site. I also wish that they provided more breakfast options than just granola. Maybe some bagels and eggs?. We went with a large group of friends and there were definitely high points. But overall we felt the experience was not worth the trip or price and will not be returning. Pros: very clean, modern main public area. Airstreams are also nice with expected AC and plumbing. Grounds are peaceful and beautiful. Bike trail nearby is great for beginners. Plenty of good food options within a 10-15 min drive if you dont want to grill. The company we went with were the highlight of the trip and that of course, had nothing to do with the site. Cons: we paid 550+/night since it was peak season. Don't do that! The "breakfast" consists of milk, coffee, black tea, and granola. I asked for decaf and recieved the following answers from 3 different ppl: we just ran out (even though it was about 10 min into breakfast time), we don't have it today, we don't offer decaf. Rule number one: do not lie and if you do make sure the entire staff gives the same lie. Read the fine print for their complimentary biking. You will need to pay for something. There is no room service, you need to take out ur own trash from your Airstream. We paid for a premium Airstream and the lady who checked us in literally told us there's no difference from classic. If you're gonna upcharge, here is where you maybe should lie and embellish a little so ppl who paid extra don't feel -.- So some of the cons I've listed might sound a little nitpicky. After all, we are camping right? But for the 550/night, the glamor part of glamping was very much missing. By the end of the trip, we wondered to ourselves, why didn't we just book a 5 star resort for a few days and then go home, invite all our friends, grill in our backyard at home and ride our bikes at our local beach boardwalk?! I just had my first experience at AutoCamp and I am pretty sure I will be back. I'll start with the bad: the room could have been cleaner and WiFi is horrid. That's it. Everything else was great! The staff are super friendly, as everyone I spoke to had a smile and great disposition. I stayed in the Airstream and, while small, it is big enough for two people to enjoy for a night or three at most. After that, you'll likely get either stir crazy or broke, because it is not cheap to stay here. The food was good too. I tried the double burger with everything sauce and it was excellent. The chocolate chip cookies were good too. The brownie was average at best, but the breakfast bagel was great too. I wish they had better coffee to wash it down with but you can't win them all. The main building is charming and hosts nightly events, as well as morning activities such as yoga. They also have games in there you can play, as well as bicycles for rent. The ability to use their little wagons to get your gear from the car to the camper and back was pretty cool too. All in all, I like a lot!!! read more

This is my 2nd visit so i will base this review on that. The clubhouse is nice! Love the live music in the evening, i also like that they have a kitchen now. Could use a salad option but overall the burger and tots were delicious to me. Ambiance is nice in the clubhouse and all the staff are friendly and great! My premium airstream was very clean and nice.. only missing the stuff for the dog and the poker for the fire but a neighbor let us use the poker as we were in the middle of getting the fire off the ground. I do wish they had a couple excluded units where you a bit further away from neighbors. So if you want exclusivity then this is not it but it is a great glamping experience. Okay so I've now been twice and feel like I have enough to do a review. I'll begin by saying the staff is extremely sweet and attentive. They make you feel comfortable and truly take care of your needs. My first time I stayed we were given keys to an extremely dirty cabin that hadn't been cleaned yet although we were told the room was ready. Unfortunately the type of cabin we booked was all sold out so we had to adjust. This was disappointing but the staff took care of us and we made the best of it. I was disappointed that when I booked the agent told me there would be activities on the property but now that I've been twice it seems activities are only Friday-Sunday. Out of season, there isn't a ton to do besides being by the fire pit, riding a bike, or playing some games at the main house in the property. The food in the main house is made by the front desk staff so it's not super fancy but I guess it gets the job done. It appears to be pre-made meals that get heated up. Again, not a huge deal and most places don't offer this service so I won't complain too much. The first time we stayed in a cabin and the second time in an airstream. The cabin was really nice and had a great amount of space. The fire pit was large and there were really no complaints. The airstream was a different experience. We definitely felt the elements more. From ants in the airstream to feeling the airstream rattle from the wind. It's not a bad thing because we are in nature, just noticeable differences. The space is a lot smaller too. Not a big deal if you don't Intend to spend a lot of time Inside. Overall I enjoy being here. Do I think it's worth the money, not really. Would I go back, yes. It's a quick little getaway and for that I won't complain. Also pet friendly for those with a 4-legged friend. read more

Overall, a very nice experience. Airstreams: positives - surprisingly more room than expected; 7 year old and 5 year old really enjoyed. nice shower; small sink, refrigerator and microwave. Each airstream has its own fire pit. Negatives: close proximity of airstreams to one another makes it seem a little less like a glamping experience. Club house: nice setting; simple food available; $35 per day 'activity fee' wasted on my family as we did not participate in yoga or live music, nor eat free breakfast (with one exception), but at least $35 fee was described in the booking email received upon reservation. Bike Path: Proximity to local bike path was a highlight for our family. Playground: Monkey bar contraption, itself, is nicely designed, but placing tree stumps underneath the 'monkey bar' is, from my perspective, a truly dumb idea. I saw at least three children, including one of my own, fall off the monkey bars and land awkwardly on the tree stumps, resulting in bruising and cuts. (My 5 year-old daughter has a bruise on her ankle the size of a silver dollar.) The tree stumps beneath the monkey bars need to be removed. Similarly, there are too many tripping hazards, especially tree stumps, that are hard to see at night, even with headlamps and flashlights, with the limited lighting at the site. (I like the fact that there is limited outdoor lighting as it enhances the glamping experience and facilitates star gazing...but too many trip hazards that could be mitigated. One of my daughters tripped, which resulted in a scrape more than a foot long. Cost - a bit pricey given scope of amenities but we stayed during the most expensive period of the year, Labor Day weekend, so okay. My kids liked the experience so much that we would consider returning and/or going to another AutoCamp site at another location. read more

10 Gold Stars and then some! My mom and I traveled to Auto Camp Cape Cod from Cleveland, Ohio. Although we had a long drive, when we arrived we immediately felt relaxed, at home and welcomed by the beautiful accommodations and wonderful staff. From the main house, the food and beverage options, the entertainment each night to the "little things" like re-chargeable lanterns to guide our way and the absolutely PERFECT Airstream with its perfect little details (and the most comfortable bed/pillows/blankets either of us have slept on/used EVER!), to the comforting scents of the toiletries.. omg i could go on and on. Everyone was kind, helpful, quick to fix any problems (we had none, but mentioned some weather stripping was in need of repair in our suite and they fixed it within 10 minutes. unbelievable!!). We will absolutely be back and my expectations of hotels/airbnbs/etc are now even higher because of Auto Camp. And when I do stay somewhere, you better believe I'm looking for Auto Camps in the area before i book anywhere else. read more

This is my second stay at AutoCamp. My first stay was at Yosemite when they first opened and many parts was not fully constructed. I find myself back to AutoCamp's newest location and surprisingly, most construction was done and it was operating to the fullest despite the pandemic. They could not have picked a better location for glamping as it is close to Downtown Falmouth, Woods Hole, Shining sea bike trail, Boston, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. This location is on Palmer Ave, hidden in the woods, yet not too far amongst a residential area. The clubhouse is where you would want to start at to check in, get information, get your morning breakfast and purchase anything you might need including cups, souvenirs, premade BBQ kits, smores kit, hoodies, tshirts, card games, hats, stickers, patches, books, etc. There are wagons outside for you to haul your things to your camper. While I was there, they had a Fireside Chat with a local native as well as live music! The camper itself brand new as they just opened a month in a half ago! It is the exact same style and decor as Yosemite. The bath products are Ursa Major and includes many amenities including bath towels, face wipes, etc. The kitchen consists of all cooking pans, french press coffee maker, Pie in the sky coffee, utensils, plates and cups, mini fridge, microwave. The bedroom comes with a queen bed, small TV and there are 2 books in the camper in case you want to read! Outside has a BBQ pit and you can get GOOD WOOD from the clubhouse. We grilled chicken sausages and made smores on our last night there. It was raining the first two nights so I was glad on our 3rd night it cleared up! COVID updates: There is contactless check-in. Each camper has a name which will be emailed to you. You will look for your check in keycard outside the clubhouse in an envelope containing your camper's name. All purchases made inside the clubhouse has a self check out computer. You can do self check out and self bag! The emails I received mentioned a parking pass that was supposed to be in the check in envelope but ours never came with one. Either way, there is plenty of parking and our camper (#102) was close to parking & the clubhouse. Win win! I think this location is perfect, we had a wonderful stay and look forward to new locations in the future! read more

Run for the hills. This place is not relaxing and for sure not a vacation getaway. I have glamped all over the USA and this was one of the most underwhelming experiences. This place shows capitalism is plain sight. They have packed as many RV and tent units on the property. It is worse than going to a govt camp ground that you would pay like 25 bucks for but instead pay over 350 a night. They staff also ask for tips so you know they are not paying them well. They charge exceptionally high prices but have no activities, no pool, hot tub etc. On the weekends or holidays the place will be filled with 100s of kids. You will feel like you are in a school lunch room in any of the common areas. I'm sure they know many children come to this location yet they have 0 things for them. For example they have a wood structure that has a platform they call a playground? So all the kids instead run around the only peaceful area near the lawn. At this point you may think you can go sit by your own camper.. well there are kids running around there as well plus since all the rvs are packed so tightly the air is filled with the smoke from everyone's fires. So not even pleasant to sit outside. My husband and I spent most our time cooped up in the rv or away from the camp altogether to get some peace. This place is not worth the visit at all. I rec always going to smaller businesses instead of chains for a high end glamping experience. read more

EVENT: We held our daughter's wedding here and it was perfect -- overlooking the bay with gorgeous sunsets.. The second floor was used for dancing after dinner, which I thought might be awkward but worked out great because everyone became super engaged, three generations, with the music and the dancing - and the balcony was great for some quieter convos. Also we could decorate that room with a bit hipper theme, and the tent with a more elegant theme. ROOMS: The rooms are expensive but so worth it because we created such a great on-site community. Autocamp put all of the block reservation windstreams and vista suites near each other so we had after-parties each night with s'mores, mulled rum cider, soft drinks, pop corn, and other stops -- which was so much fun and made it a roving block party. The beds are so comfortable, shower was lovely, kitchen well equipped, and the facilities have really good cooling and heating systems. Grounds were very well maintained and landscaped. GUESTS and FAMILY ACTIVITIES: Before the wedding, guests went on bike trips to the bay (supplied by Autocamp) or hiked the easy trails at Autocamp leading to the bay. Older folks gathered together on the patio and first floor lobby of the lodge to catch up with old friends. SERVICE: Service was amazing! As mother of the bride I was pretty anxious the days before the wedding but they were patient and kind. And a special shout out to Russell (? - manager level, I think it was his name) and the group coordinators Kristin and Emily. My daughter and son in law were in regular conversations with Kristin for months befor the wedding planning and she was so responsive to every text, phone call, etc. read more

It could be great... it really could. But a few key issues that just don't make spending $500 a night here worth it outside of the novelty of sleeping in a nice airstream (which you also could rent for a week for about the same cost as 2 nights here.) 1: the airstreams are very close to each other. Even if you pay for the upgraded ones, you'll be within earshot and touching distance of your neighbor. We booked a Vista (most expensive with supposedly the best views and most privacy) 2: staff does not enforce the rules. They say no pop up tents or amplified music and quiet hours starting at 10. Our neighbors had a pop up tent touching our airstream with a boom box and loud music till 10:15 or so. It sounded like a disco in our airstream. I texted the staff and they did nothing... not to mention this was their setup all day and it was very visible from the paths and roads that staff was walking on and past all day. 3: An older male staff member yelled at me and told me to "Stay on the F@uck1ng path" when I stepped about 3 feet off earlier in the day. These are covid times and the man was not wearing a mask, I simply wanted to keep 6 feet distance since he was coughing as he walked up the hill at me. 4: We arrived at 5PM, our airstream wasn't ready for us until 6PM (not a big deal, but would have been nice to get a text or call saying they were running behind) All in all - could be great... but they just miss on too many things. We'll be one and done guests unless they figure out a way to solve for not becoming a party spot. read more

Windows are easy to open, but if you break one you have to pay for the damage. Our trailer was supposedly a "vista suite" NO VISTA! We were in a gulley! I mean, I don't need a vista, but I would rather you don't tell us that there will be a vista when there isn't. read more

Stayed here for 3 nights in an airstream as a couple and had an awesome time! They texted us before we arrived that our air stream was ready and it was easy to navigate to the location. Plenty of parking. The inside was super clean and comfortable! They had more amenities than I thought (fry pans, grilling tools, HDMI cord, plenty of outlets.) I loved the little outdoor space and we had fun grilling our dinners out there. We brought our own bags of charcoal. I felt that for the price, which can easily be comparable to hotels, was fair! You get way more than just staying at a regular hotel and the inside is just as nice if not better. They provided air plugs for the loud air conditioner/heater which was a nice touch but they're no louder than a window air conditioner for those worried. I recommend going on the bike trail (we went for a run on it, hiking the knob (we went around 8:30 in the morning and there was lots of parking), parking in town and walking to some of the local beaches, going to Highfield Hall, visiting downtown Falmouth and going to the Cape Cod Winery! The location of AutoCamp is perfect for doing all these things. There is also a liquor store right up the road which we got some local liquor at for our camp. It seems the main complaints are with the close quarters of the campers (which do seem crowded in certain areas but I thought it felt safe and didn't bother us much.) we really only spent the evenings at AutoCamp. I could see how it could end up being annoying if you're next to a loud family but it's no different than going camping. We stayed at airstream 104 which that row and circle of air streams seemed like the best location. Overall we had a great time and I would definitely come back! read more

This was our first time glamping (went Mid-May so it wasn't busy) and we had a great experience. It was very comfortable, everything worked well, nice, clean, and well maintained. The people were super helpful and friendly and it is in a great location, right along a bike trail and they have bikes if you need. It is also very close to the ferry to the islands and the Sandwich Heritage Museum and Gardens which was beautiful. The pour over coffee was delicious. The cabin had great technology and features; Wifi, big screen TV, Roku, induction cooktop, microwave, mini-fridge. It was really like staying in a mini-house. Only complaint we had was it rained one day but it wasn't their fault ;-) We plan to go back and to visit other AutoCamps in the future. read more

Trees! They should have left a few more. The original campground was under a forest. Autocamp cleared it and crammed in way too many Airstreams. The trees they've planted won't provide shade for ~15 years. Stay in a hotel. Your neighbors will be just as close, but you'll have walls. Or stay in a regular campground. If I could give them a minus one I would. I wanted to cancel my reservation so I went on the website. I called the phone number provided and there wasn't a number to press to cancel. So I emailed the email address provided. I explained I wanted to cancel by reservation. The reply was pretty quick, but the person replied saying I could either cancel or change my dates, seeing as how the subject line of my email said "Cancellation" I assumed it would be canceled. But I replied to the email stating I wanted to CANCEL the reservation. I got a response from the Director of Reservations saying I was being rude. Place was the absolute friggin' ballbag . The whole place/campground is very clean, well thought out, and well put together. The owners did this joint up right. They thought of everything. Each Airstream is like its own little word. Each one has its own individual outside space. Perfect couple yam - a - way or even good with parents and a small kid or two. They provide everything - down to bathrobes. The airstream has the amentities of a 4 star + hotel. If i had to pick nit , i would just say at the main Clubhouse , that its absolute highway f*********** ROBBERY you folks are charging $19.00 USD for a bundle of wood . Get fisted there. OK I grew up camping. A camper and then a tent. So when my husband wanted to go stay in an airstream at Autocamp for a little couples getaway I was kind of lukewarm on the subject. He kept trying to reassure me it wasn't like regular camping. So I packed my bags and a few extra things and we headed off to Autocamp. And I do have to say I really loved it. The worst part was getting there to check in excited at 4 PM and being told that our airstream was not going to be ready until 5 PM. Apparently it was put down as being cleaned when it wasn't. So my husband went for a bike ride on one of their complementary bikes while I sat at the very hip mid century clubhouse waiting. Once I have been waiting for a good 40 minutes the lady from the counter came over and offered me a cheese and crackers complementary because of my wait. It was very nice of her and a delicious triple brie and crackers. We chose a premium airstream when we booked which is supposed to have a better location and may be a couple more amenities I'm not sure. The airstream was lovely the bathroom was much bigger than I thought it would be. The bed was very comfortable. They really think of almost everything. Blankets to use by the fire. A lantern. Cooking apparatus. Even bathrobes. We did have some noisy neighbors and they were noisy well past the curfew time and it didn't seem like any staff tried to reprimand them to quiet down. The fire pit and the outdoor seating was very nice so we spent our evenings outside. They have plenty of items for sale at the clubhouse if you want to cook on your grill. My husband enjoyed the morning coffee and granola complementary and purchased a breakfast sandwich each day that he enjoyed. One of the best parts is the shining sea bike away runs along the Autocamp site and they have bikes for you to use. We took the bikes to Woods Hole and back 10 miles on the bike trail definitely try it if you go. I could go on forever but you'll have to go see for yourself. We will be back. read more

Brought my wife and had a really great and restful time. First shout to Jan for his care and professionalism! Thank you! The airstreams are really nice and the outdoor fire pit was great for cooking and just relaxing around a fire. The bathrooms are clean and even high end. The club house has a great open space and free coffee and tea in the mornings as well as you can order food if need be. The location is great bc it's right near the Falmouth bike paved path with paths to the beach or other local places. We loved that it was near Falmouth to get some great pastries and food. We also visited woods hole which was nearby. I also loved they had 3 ev chargers for free. High recommend to come here read more

Run Far Far Away!!! This place is horrible. The grounds are unkempt, the units are so close you have NO privacy, our entire stay was met with construction starting each morning around 8AM. No pool, no activities for kids, the floors in our tiny home were disgusting!!!! Nobody cleaned for months clearly and no broom to clean it yourself! I would NEVER come back and NEVER recommend to anyone! Seriously WAY better places for the same cost or less! read more

I'd give this a -10 stars if I could. This is the most overpriced vacation stay I have ever found in my 64 years of being alive. I stayed here this weekend thru Monday for my 64th birthday and I feel badly that my daughter spent $1,100.00 (2 nights) to stay in this under stocked, no stove, tiny college dorm fridge, no pool, no hot tub, not breakfast (unless you consider granola breakfast), basically zero amenities. The airstreams are stacked on top of each other and look like something out of an apocalypse science fiction movie. They have two AC units per trailer and the only speed is high so the whole camp ground sounds like an aircraft runway, but no worries they supply you .25 cent earplugs. We were so fortunate to have the end unit so not sandwiched between two airstreams but oh wait, how nice that they put the dog poop container right in front of our trailer so it stunk 95% of the time therefore we never sat outside. I honestly can't think of anything positive to say about this stay except maybe it had a nice bathroom with low pressure water.... but who spends time in their bathroom on vacation. This place is the epitome of corporate greed, gouging people for top dollar and giving them very little in return. I can hear them around their corporate brainstorm meeting table, "Let's give them a cotton bathrobe and granola for breakfast and charge them $500 a night. The idiots will love it!". Anyone who gave this place high praise is either from California where they are use to being gouged, or a paid bot or a person that has very low expectation of what a $500 a night place should be. This was our first time glamping. First the pros: Great location right next to the walk/bike trail and super short drive to town for restaurants etc. The trail is probably the highlight of our trip. It's so peaceful and cyclists are so polite when riding by. Staff were friendly and helpful. You can text them which is convenient. The cons: 2/5 stars for value. We felt dumb for paying as much as we did for what we got. Yeah the Airstream is cute and they stock it with a small bag of coffee so you can make some decent French press instead of the awful Keurig pods found in most hotels. But that's where the amenities end. We went during shoulder season and still paid quite a bit for the stay. They give you two little logs for your fire pit but if you want more wood, prepare to spend $25 for a bundle in their store. Speaking of their store, it's over priced of course. I do NOT recommend spending any money for their food items. We tried their pizza, croissant, clam chowder, chicken tenders, and breakfast burrito. It all tasted like school cafeteria food that was pre-made and heated up. They are not making it fresh in the kitchen, i promise you that. The bed in the Airstream was way too soft- I'm a relatively young person and can usually sleep on any mattress in a hotel no problem. Their bed hurt my back. They also advertise "luxury linens" but our bottom sheet had pills stuck all over it! The pillowcases and duvet also had some spots of dirt that I didn't feel like complaining to them about but grossed me out. Speaking of dirt- I realized after we arrived that they don't include housekeeping in their pricing. So during our 6 night stay, if we wanted our room cleaned, it was extra. I don't know how much and I didn't want to spend any more money than we already had so we just asked for some more towels and kept it tidy ourselves. There was also construction going on every day. They were building the kids playground area and spreading mulch. I swear the "beep beep beep" of a truck backing up all day was going to drive me crazy. Really killed my serenity- which was the whole point of this glamping trip. Pro tip: don't fall for paying extra for the "Vista" units that promise the best "views". There are no views of anything but the trees. We paid extra thinking we would see a glimpse of the water but no. We went walking around to see if any of the units had a "view" and they don't. Not even the ones up highest next to the lobby area. We had asked for one of their more private Airstreams but none of them are private. Ask for a map and look at how close they all are. We did get one sort of at the end of a row before the landscape declines into another row, but you can still see and hear everyone around you. All in all, it was cute but I wouldn't go during peak season and pay $500/night. And I wouldn't go for more than 2-3 nights. read more

Overall the unique strengths of this airstream farm outweigh its downsides. First the pluses: you really feel away in your own tricked out airstream. I found the silence and sounds of nature very calming just like the clatter of Rain during the night. While the inside is very much like an upscale hotel with a mid century vibe, I really felt like I was camping. The outdoor area is great (if it's not raining) with a good sized table and fire pit. Also the trailers are situated so you really don't see others... good privacy. We would not advise paying extra for seclusion as it's only a very small difference. Also a positive is the great clubhouse. They have great and well thought out simple menus (yummy breakfast sandwiches) and perfectly serviceable free granola and coffee. The clubhouse is large and great for lunging and playing board games... with a view of the ocean kinda visible from the patio you do feel like you are at a luxury resort. It's not perfect. Be prepared to hike to your room carrying your stuff in a wagon... next time we will request a trailer close to the lot.. Also there isn't a burner/stove in the trailer... cooking not in a microwave happens outside. Which is tough if it's raining as it was for us. Also in the one dry hour we did get their wood just didn't catch so maybe bring your own. The air conditioner/heater is super loud also but the windows do open. And think camping: bring bug spray. This isn't a cheap lodging option. I think it would be amazing with school age kids and certainly I felt more calm and chill than I would have at a hotel. All in all we would love to come back on a sunny weekend. read more

Wow! Other than the fact that the airstreams were well designed and well-equipped, the facility was very lackluster. There was really nothing to entertain anyone. Especially kids. For the price they charge, they should have a pool or a splash pad. That leads me to the charging, the premium charge versus the regular charge is excessive. There is frankly no difference. They claim views, but views of what??? Everyone is staring at each other or the woods. It's complete bullshit. It was an interesting experience but my God I wish I would've spent that money somewhere else on a vacation that would've felt like one. It's been 6 months since our wedding and I still look back on all of our photos with the most wonderful memories. I'll expect I will for years to come. There is a long list of amazing individuals that made that possible but in the top percent is Autocamp Cape Cod and it's staff. We cannot thank them enough for giving us our dream location for our dream wedding. They were incredibly communicative during the planning phases, accommodating to our desires and our rag tag planning team, and the weekend of made sure that everything went off without a hitch. From the flowers, to the creative seating for our outdoor balcony evening wedding (a must in our opinion for anyone considering the location, the lighting is phenomenal!), to the many golf cart rides around in our dresses as we got ready and ensuring our first look could be our true first look by keeping us secretly just out of view during the prep phases, to being attentive and accommodating to our more senior attendees needs, we just cannot thank you enough.
