I proceed to ask her through the window, if she could just help me do a quick return (and I had a receipt), because she saw me coming and the other customer just walked out. She got extremely angry and grabbed the metal pole and pulled down the metal gate slamming yet another loud bang of a gate this time in my face. Never have I ever had a door slammed in my face my entire life! I never expected it from a long time a local sporting goods store. It's really sad if she's the manager and the experience she brings to an establishment. She could have been nice about it, even if it was 9:01pm no one deserves to be treated that way.

We weren't sure what kind of bike pump we needed, but one of the staff members helpfully explained what different kinds of tire valves, etc. We settled on a pump with an adapter so we can use it on any kind of valve. I also saw they carry some of the latest Hoka shoes. I'll definitely be back when I need shoes.

I went in there for a very obscure part and they managed to find it with like three minutes until closing time. It was this washer that is part of my front fork assembly, one of those washers that keeps the wheel from falling out even if the skewer comes undone. Anyway, they had it, they gave it to me for free, and it just made me realize that places like this are amazing and rare and we should definitely support them. So I do! And so should you. There are not enough stars for this review!…read more Every bit of this outfit is outstanding. The staff is friendly, informative and patient. The equipment is ideal for the area, with plenty off choices for more intense rides. The options for "trails" are urban for the local area, and north and south for the Wineries. We had a package deal that has a guide for the first day and on our own for the second day. Our guide, Taylor, was way cool. A local farmer/roadie/ San Fran local, with keen intel on the farming/bio-dynmic/ foodie/ family history. He clearly has a great history and relationship with the folks we stopped at and every bit was personable and flexible. He had an excellent read on the strength and weakness of the group. Overall, we did a gentle 20 miles on cushie bikes and drank a touch more wine then is good for willfully concurring the hills. We had a group of 6 and took a north loop that peaked at Quivira with the most spectacular bio-dynamic gardens. I mean bees, pigs, chickens and just the coolest raised beds I have ever seen. Seriously, I could happily retire and intern here. Our second day, was on our own on the southern route, me thinks just about 23 miles. My Aunt made it to Porter Creek (not on purpose) but I peaked at Thomas George Estate. We followed recommendations and lunched at Arista. Worthy!!! This is another heaven on Earth spot. It is not over rated. My only small complaint, on the second day (far beyond the control of the good folks at Wine County Bikes was the aggressive construction truck drivers. Mind you...there is a consistent "you're going to get hurt bad if you come off the road" with no clear bike lane. With that said the greater majority of cars, albeit fast, are very good about dealing with "tourist bike riders". Highly recommended!!!!!!

What makes the shop unique is that they have a lot of stuff in new guns/used guns/consignment. I came here because my friend was able to find that they have the gun he wanted whereas everywhere else pretty much sold out. I happened to find something here also not found anywhere else. They have this no haggle policy posted everywhere so at least it saves you the trouble of wanting to get a "deal." The price is standard but not over priced. They also helped me to ship a gun that needed to go back to factory even though they didn't sell the gun (which is interesting because some stores won't do it unless you bought the gun there). They did charge me but it's not super expensive and they don't charge anything extra like storage fees or other processing fee so I considered it fair. Once again they have a lot of stuff and I found a couple items there that are low priced than anywhere else but you have to look for the ones you want. Good service and I like the people there. No BS but not money hungry like the ones near the peninsula. Parking is weird as even though they have the parking lot it's full even in the morning before the store is open but at least you can find parking on the street nearby.
