Service 5/5 I came here to take my firearm safety test and select a firearm for purchase. Passed my test, got my firearm safety certificate and put money down on my first firearm. They keep the store locked so you have to ring the bell to be let in. You are also made aware by the sign that they are recording audio and video. Customer service was excellent. The gentleman who administered my test offered me water to drink. As I had told him I hadn't eaten and was feeling very weak. I was given all the knowledge I needed about the firearm I chose. They called me when it was ready for pickup. Made sure I could demonstrate all the safety protocols. I also purchased practice ammo and home defense ammo. The entire experience went well for me. Each staff member who I had interaction with was nothing short of helpful, friendly and professional. Selection 3/5 I'll rate down the middle on this. I'm not an expert so I can't judge oh well or how lacking their selection may be. I know they had something perfect for me. Value 3/5 As a first time purchaser I'll rate down the middle on this as well. I believe what I paid was within reason on value. Based on my experience and level of satisfaction I will be back for my next purchase.

    All bought from Triple A's.

I purchased all my firearms from Triple A's. I prefer to support small businesses in my home town especially if the business provides excellent and knowledgeable service. These guys are friendly, patient and understanding on my budget. Just a quick tip, If you're planning to buy a firearm make sure you look up the requirements in California and bring in all the proper paperwork (call them if needed). It'll make their job easier and your experience a whole lot smoother.

Huge inventory.. Quick tips 1. know the purpose of why you want a gun 2. know what kind of gun you want 3. do your research on that gun 4. bring all your paperwork, Safety certificate, Birth Cert, etc. And maybe they wont make you feel like a dumbass, and if all else fails, talk to Old Frank or Older Frank they cool asf! I had a good experience this is to everyone else reading the negative reviews, leave what you think you know at the door, listen, take advice and ask the right questions. should be a smooth transaction.

Unassuming entry to a great store.

Ask the Community - Triple A's Sporting Goods

Are open during the shelter in place?

I called and no answer as well as others I assume no it's not open but I hope I'm wrong

    Do they have a range?

    I wish!! But no range.

    Do they do gunsmithing?

Not really. You would be better off going to 29 Outdoor Gear for excellent gun smithing. They are set up for it and won't scratch your gun. Love AAA's.

I could not find my paperwork as I was interested in selling the firearm. I called, explained my situation, and that all I had was a receipt with the name Chelsea. They transferred me to Chelsea and she said se'd look into. No response. I'll called back and she said she emailed it to me. She sent it again. I didn't get it. I called and she suggested looking in my Spam folder. It wasn't there. I called back and asked if she could send me a paper copy and said she could get one out Tuesday. Perfect. So I 'm going through my emails and deleting several and was going to empty my trash folder, but I always look one last time before I empty it. What do I see? I see Chelsea's two previous emails that went right into trash, bypassing my inbox and Spam folder. I downloaded the DROS to my computer. I called my Internet Service Provider and the fault was theirs. Something in their system was dumping emails into my trash and not my inbox. That problem is now resolved. But I can't thank ASP enough for their patience and making every effort to help me...and in spite of me being annoying, they were nothing but patient and courteous . A++++bin my book.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, patient, and helpful, which made a huge difference as a first-timer. Huge shoutout to Mark Francisco for taking the time to teach my son and me the fundamentals. He explained everything clearly and made us feel comfortable and safe the entire time. Thanks to Mark's guidance, we left feeling confident shooting and had so much fun. I recently got into this sport, and this experience definitely made me want to keep going. We will definitely be back!

Been going to USI Concord for over 30 years and I've never run into the kind of attitude I got…read morerecently from one of their guys, Mark. Last time I was in I couldn't find my safety card. Told him so, and instead of just helping me out he got an attitude about it - "well you're supposed to have it." I asked if he could just pull it up on the computer and he said "that's not the point." I said ok but you guys obviously have a backup of it somewhere right? Same answer again, "it's not the point, you're supposed to have it." He did end up giving me a new card eventually, so it clearly wasn't actually a big deal, he just wanted to make me feel bad about it first for some reason. Not the first issue I've had with him either. He's got this habit of jumping in to "help" the women in a group - wife, girlfriend, daughter, whoever - even when the guy she's with is a certified instructor or a vet who knows exactly what he's doing. Happened to people I know more than once. Kind of insulting honestly. What industry are you allowed to argue with, talk down to, and disrespect your paying customers and still keep your job? Apparently this one. Look, I get that rules are rules, but there's a way to enforce them without being a jerk about it. After 30 years as a customer, this is it for me - I won't be doing the public shoots there anymore. Hard to recommend the place when this is the kind of experience you can run into. Middle pic to show I am not just some brand new shooter thinking I know everything.
