Rude service and a junky looking store. And high prices. Would be great to support a small and locally owned business but not in this case.

Great group of people. Very informative and they don't beat around the bush. Made the process of buying a gun quick, easy, and seamless.

Fisherman’s Warehouse Megastore - A portion of the day's catch!!! Good day, good eats!

I had many questions for Eric and not once did I feel rushed and he also did not try to oversell me on anything. Needless to say, I ended up walking out with a new rod and reel. I would highly recommend stopping in to Fisherman's Warehouse for all things fishing related!

He is incredibly knowledgeable about tuna fishing, does an outstanding job lining reels, and has always treated us with professionalism and respect. He's the reason we've continued to shop there.Unfortunately, our experience with Eric, the manager, has been the complete opposite. My husband stopped in while he was tired and quiet, yet Eric later commented that he came in "crazy," even though my husband hadn't said a word to anyone. That was both unnecessary and disrespectful. This also wasn't our first negative interaction with Eric. On a previous visit while Dave was lining our reels, Eric repeatedly interrupted to tell Dave to make sure we knew we had to pay for the special line marking. We never questioned the charge and had absolutely no problem paying for it. We appreciate Dave's expertise and know quality work deserves to be paid for. When my husband simply said, "It's okay, Dave takes care of me," referring to the excellent service Dave provides, Eric immediately responded, "We all take care of you." The interaction came across as defensive and left us feeling unwelcome. It's unfortunate because Dave is one of the best resources for tuna fishing and reel setup, but management makes the overall experience unpleasant. We'll be taking our business elsewhere, and that's a shame because we genuinely enjoyed working with Dave.

The staff is incredibly slowwwwww, while I understand providing a good customer experience, they don't know how to manage their queue of customers. Instead of understanding that they have a line that isn't moving and growing, they delay helping others by talking to their current customer more. I wanted to support a local business but should have just order the optic off Amazon for the same price and saved myself time and frustration. So far I've been here 45 minutes and nobody has called a single name. I was hopeful this place would be better than sportsman's but I was wrong. It's somehow worse. My name was finally called, from being called to walking out took sub 5 minutes. Again poor queue management.

Finally got to stop by and check out our very own Turner's Outdoorsman here in Pittsburgh. They have a good amount of long guns for sale. And their handgun selection was quite the same. As far as price, Turner's is basically trading blows with Sportsman's Warehouse. There are some guns that can be had cheaper at Sportsman's. But Turner's also have good deals and I feel that they have more selection than the competitor. In all, I am just glad that Turner's finally trekked their to the East Bay.

I had never been to a Bass Pro Shop...but I was in the area and I have friends that love it there…read moreso much that I decided to head in and see it for myself. WOW! for the decor.....going into the shop you feel like you are somewhere else. I absolutely loved the time they spent designing the spaces and incorporating murals, ponds, decor, signage, taxidermy, hidden details and the big scale of it all. It is hard to say which area was my favorite but I loved the big redwood tree entrance and walking through the middle of the tree and I also loved the waterfall where the stairs are leading up to the second floor. They have a lot of product....things were organized and labeled beautifully. Everything was neat and orderly. Plenty of cute clothes and shoes for women. I just looked throughout the store, I did try out one item in the fitting room but didn't purchase anything. I didn't have to interact with any sales associate so i don't know what that was like. I didnt read the reviews before coming in...but sad to know that they no longer have a restaurant inside the shop. I read that eating there was an experience in itself. Some items were reasonably priced, others had a higher markup. They have a bunch of snack food items from fudge to dried fruits and protein bars. Plenty of parking. Plenty of photo opportunities inside and out. I can definitely see it as a family outing if passing by on a road trip, are in the area or just a place to know firsthand what its all about. If you like adventures in the great outdoors, than for sure this the place for you.

The fishing area employee Fred was amazing and assisted us to the best of his ability as well as Clara the Manager. However, another Manager named Mike has the worst customer service qualities I have ever seen. We spent $1,400 in various fishing tackle and life jackets and requested that the four reels we bought be spooled with fluorocarbon line free of charge since we spent $1,400 in the store. "Respectfully" Fred and Clara were very calm and understood our request. Mike the Manager talked to me like I was trying to steal money from the store and was disrespectful. Horrible customer service especially from a manager position. Mike ended up walking away and shaking his head, leaving the conversation. Do better Mike!!!!! If you would like to keep turning away customers keep Mike employed. Garbage customer service from Mike.

It's real and they've been in business for 10 years or so. Ronnie was super friendly when I reached out to him. Apparently, he communicates via text only which is totally fine. He was able to communicate everything needed to properly purchase. I also appreciated that he texted a picture of the back of the building because the location is tucked inside of a block and hard to navigate if you've never been there before. Michelle helped me out with paperwork and she was super friendly. They both treated me very well and were very helpful when it came to helping me with my transaction. While their transfer fee is the most I've ever paid, it's important for me to support local shops like this, and because they're appointment only, it feels good to be the only person in the store. Overall, I plan to have all of my future online purchases go through this shop. This is an A+ establishment. Some tips for people considering coming here: - Ronnie is text only, but is pretty quick to respond. - The building that they're in isn't exactly visible from the street. - Ronnie doesn't sell to people who hunt animals and is pretty transparent about that. - They're cash only.

As a first-time buyer, I had a lot of questions, and Ronnie took the time to walk me through safety, components, what to look for, current regulations, and responsible ownership. Being former law enforcement, he really emphasizes education and making sure people understand both the responsibility and the laws that come with firearm ownership. They've moved away from the traditional storefront model and are more selective with who they work with, which made the experience feel much more personal and trustworthy. They're also great for transfers and ammo. They didn't just sell me a firearm and send me on my way...they connected me with trusted people for training, cleaning, and maintenance as well.
