I made a purchase from them in 2004 I had no issues however I visited their store a few years later and while browsing two people working there were waving guns around playing and flagged me a few times. I felt extremely uncomfortable and I've never been back read more

This is a stand-up shop! I've come here for most of my "self protection" needs over the years, and I've always been satisfied with the service. I trust this establishment and the staff that work there. The website is very informative, as are the employees. The ability to take the Firearm Safety test in order to become certified is simple and straightforward at this location. I highly recommend this establishment! read more

The best gun shop in Antioch great people good selection very helpful and experienced

I've had several great experiences here purchasing various firearms and ammunition. The staff are very knowledgeable and can answer details questions about most of the firearms they carry. This is important because many modern firearms have many, many elaborate moving parts and being able to ask the store associates about the inner-workings is very practical for making a purchasing decision. read more

As a California new immigrant in 2019 from a very red state I will opine that this "gun store" is the best one I've visited on the California delta. A large selection of "CA approved" weapons along with a very knowledgeable staff. As a life long gun enthusiast and collector, this is the place to shop and acquire more knowledge of fire arms. I am conflicted to support this business while my state government punishes me for wanting to purchase another fire arm, ammo and the accessories that CA had chosen to extraordinarily tax to punish legal, non criminal fire arms owners. Kudos to this business and I so am sad that I can't pay "sin" taxes" to a state that doesn't respect me as a U.S. citizen with ZERO criminal history while establishing a "no cash bail" system that puts career criminals back on the street. If you a CA resident, please support this business but sadly I cannot as I feel that I'm a criminal in my own new state. read more

This is the first time I have walked into Antioch Armory and found that the people working behind the counter where very respectful and were the no BS kind of guys I liked to do business with. I'd really like to think Manuel and the other gentleman that helped out today. read more

Bought my lower receiver for a AR9 build here. Great guys, ammo prices reasonable. Wish they did FFL stuff here but that would just be an added bonus that I can live without. I'll definitely be buying more from here. read more

I went into Antioch armory today, not going in to buy anything, but to get information. I just moved back to California after living out of state for 10+ years so laws have changed drastically. The guys behind the counter are awesome. Professional guys full of knowledge, and a genuine passion for what they do. They took the time to have a conversation with me about any concerns I had, and engaged with the small talk as well. While I didn't buy anything today, they have earned my future business! read more

I love this place!! Literally all except one of my guns have come from here , the staff is knowledgeable and honest . I've had several friends and family take there test here and the staff is always helpful, they also have some really nice prices . Staff is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I was looking for my 2nd gun that could be used for possible CCW (Once process is complete). They provided options that I did not previous consider and helped me find the right gun for me. Although there was a delay with the purchase due to the background check process, they were patient with my multiple calls checking on status. Will definitely go back for any future purchases and Ammo. Thanks Rick and staff. read more

My wife and I have been wanting to purchase his and hers firearms. We are first time gun buyers, and been to a few other local places. Our experience today was awesome. The staff at Antioch Armory were very professional and helpful, patient, and answered all of our questions. I would definitely recommend going there. At the other places we felt as if we were bothering the staff or treated likes newb's. They acted like they didn't have the time or could not be bothered. Big difference at Antioch Armory. I don't think you can go wrong with them. read more

I bought a Colt 1911 in .45 caliber from this shop 25 years ago. Solid and sturdy weapon kept close when i lived in Antioch. Great service and before all of the requirements were imposed to purchase a handgun. read more

Just recently discovered this place. The guys there are super helpful and willing to help when you have those amateur questions like I do. I spend money here every time I go just to support them. Everyone should check these guys out! They carry things sportsman warehouse doesn't for your firearms. Nothing against sportsman warehouse at all! I've purchase two firearms from them, but, there's something about spending money with local guys just that just feels better. read more

Very nice staff and nice choice of guns to buy. Unfortunately the DOJ did not check my background correctly - I paid for separate fingerprints as well- and I do not have time to wait (it's already been over 2 months ) so I didn't get to pick up my pistol. But I will come back once I get my clearance because they're quick and they are fair here. They offered to give me an extension for waiting to hear back from the DOJ. Because I'm moving , I had to pick up my deposit and they kept 20% so anyone going here just put half down if it's your first purchase at an actual shop because the DOJ is not quick and you may go thru what I did with a double background check - read more

The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. I purchased a Glock 19 and had a lot of questions. Didn't make me feel as though I was being talked down to. Will be going back for future purchases. read more

Not a law enforcement friendly shop. I had a pistol sent to their shop to do the transfer paperwork. I usually just present my law enforcement identification and start the process. They then tell me I need a 10 day waver letter to pickup my pistol. I told them I'm ok with not picking up the pistol the same day. I will do the background check and wait the 10 days to pickup. They tell me, no, I need the waver letter and I have to pickup same day. I said fine, I'll get the letter. A week later I present them with the letter. The shop tells me, " letter looks good, but it's missing some verbiage." Huh!? Long story short they wouldn't give me my pistol because of specific wording they require for their shop. They jerked me around for two weeks failing to tell me all this only after 3 trips to their shop. Finally had another shop pickup my pistol and do the transfer without any hiccups. Not to mention Antioch Armory charged me $50 dollars to take my pistol to another shop, which by the way, didn't happen. Thanks Antioch Armory for nothing. I'll be letting all my law enforcement family and friends as well as my fellow military service members not to do business with you. read more

Reasonable prices for their accessories, ammo and firearms, plus also a good group of guys (Mike, Rick, Carlos) who work behind the counter. First time and non-first time gun owners would have a good experience purchasing here (unless you're a delivery person. some reason the dog gets excited with delivery folks :) The restocking fee was a bit high though but not a deal breaker if you know your record is clean. Picked up a Springfield XD9 and a, spur of the moment purchase, S&W M&P Sport II. Looking to pick up an M&P Shield subcompact and a shotgun so will be definitely swinging by here in the near future. read more

If i could give this place -5 stars i would! I go in to buy a lower receiver for my ar 15 build. After talking with the sales guy he convinces me on a spikes lower with DPMS parts kit. Albeit these guys did not have the cheapest price in the bay area. 11 days later: I go to pick up my lower and hop in my car. After getting back on the freeway i look at my lower and to my surprise it is stamped with "FACTORY BLEMISHES" and "FACTORY REFURBISHED". WTF!!!! I immediately call in and the sales jerk responded with 'err', 'ummmm' let me talk to my manager. I waited on hold for about 5 minutes all the while i am driving back. The manager says "oh we already discounted you for the refurb' ??????? WTFFFFF?? I never saw a discount or was told that i am buying refurbished. I am stuck with a refurbished item that i a) overpaid for and b) was not told about. Screw this place, they do not deserve the business. The manager offered me a box of ammo valued at ~$22 as a compromise, i took it because i had no other choice. DO NOT GO HERE. FIND ANOTHER PLACE read more
