I've had several great experiences here purchasing various firearms and ammunition. The staff are very knowledgeable and can answer details questions about most of the firearms they carry. This is important because many modern firearms have many, many elaborate moving parts and being able to ask the store associates about the inner-workings is very practical for making a purchasing decision. read more

As a California new immigrant in 2019 from a very red state I will opine that this "gun store" is the best one I've visited on the California delta. A large selection of "CA approved" weapons along with a very knowledgeable staff. As a life long gun enthusiast and collector, this is the place to shop and acquire more knowledge of fire arms. I am conflicted to support this business while my state government punishes me for wanting to purchase another fire arm, ammo and the accessories that CA had chosen to extraordinarily tax to punish legal, non criminal fire arms owners. Kudos to this business and I so am sad that I can't pay "sin" taxes" to a state that doesn't respect me as a U.S. citizen with ZERO criminal history while establishing a "no cash bail" system that puts career criminals back on the street. If you a CA resident, please support this business but sadly I cannot as I feel that I'm a criminal in my own new state. read more

Very nice staff and nice choice of guns to buy. Unfortunately the DOJ did not check my background correctly - I paid for separate fingerprints as well- and I do not have time to wait (it's already been over 2 months ) so I didn't get to pick up my pistol. But I will come back once I get my clearance because they're quick and they are fair here. They offered to give me an extension for waiting to hear back from the DOJ. Because I'm moving , I had to pick up my deposit and they kept 20% so anyone going here just put half down if it's your first purchase at an actual shop because the DOJ is not quick and you may go thru what I did with a double background check - read more

Just recently discovered this place. The guys there are super helpful and willing to help when you have those amateur questions like I do. I spend money here every time I go just to support them. Everyone should check these guys out! They carry things sportsman warehouse doesn't for your firearms. Nothing against sportsman warehouse at all! Not a law enforcement friendly shop. I had a pistol sent to their shop to do the transfer paperwork. I usually just present my law enforcement identification and start the process. They then tell me I need a 10 day waver letter to pickup my pistol. I told them I'm ok with not picking up the pistol the same day. I will do the background check and wait the 10 days to pickup. They tell me, no, I need the waver letter and I have to pickup same day. I said fine, I'll get the letter. A week later I present them with the letter. The shop tells me, " letter looks good, but it's missing some verbiage." Huh!? Long story short they wouldn't give me my pistol because of specific wording they require for their shop. They jerked me around for two weeks failing to tell me all this only after 3 trips to their shop. Finally had another shop pickup my pistol and do the transfer without any hiccups. Not to mention Antioch Armory charged me $50 dollars to take my pistol to another shop, which by the way, didn't happen. Thanks Antioch Armory for nothing. I'll be letting all my law enforcement family and friends as well as my fellow military service members not to do business with you. read more

Reasonable prices for their accessories, ammo and firearms, plus also a good group of guys (Mike, Rick, Carlos) who work behind the counter. First time and non-first time gun owners would have a good experience purchasing here (unless you're a delivery person. some reason the dog gets excited with delivery folks :) The restocking fee was a bit high though but not a deal breaker if you know your record is clean. Picked up a Springfield XD9 and a, spur of the moment purchase, S&W M&P Sport II. Looking to pick up an M&P Shield subcompact and a shotgun so will be definitely swinging by here in the near future. read more

This is a hard reveiw to make because I do like these guys, theyre helpful and have good customer service. However, make sure you check other websites with the same firearms you are interested in as these guys put a HUGE markup on their guns. I would like to say I'd buy another gun here but after checking Brownell's, palmetto, and Wilde built, I just can't justify purchasing firearms at the prices these guys mark up, I'd rather wait for the extra shipping time and pay significantly less. read more
